Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, the price was reasonable, and our room had all the necessary amenities. The hotel's location was another positive aspect. It was conveniently situated in Jewellery Quarter close to the city centre. This made it easy for us to explore the city and its surrounding areas without much hassle. Additionally, the proximity to public transportation options was a big plus.

While my overall stay was pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved upon, particularly the breakfast. The daily breakfast offerings became monotonous as they lacked variety. Another downside was the limited vegetable options available during breakfast. Apart from beans in sauce, there were no other vegetables provided.

A welcoming hotel, modern and spacious, clean and tidy. Room 143, twin room - quiet, spacious room, over-sized twin beds, large mirror, large TV, tea tray, toiletries, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Waste bins, plenty of sockets. Large dining room for breakfast - ample breakfast items (hot and cold selection). Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Room 143 - lack of natural lighting, having only one small window. Room lighting was not always adequate. Twin beds had wooden bases - my friend banged her leg on the corner on a few occasions. We would definitely stay here again though as lived the room and the hotel.

Amazing location, brilliant breakfast, excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The location was perfect for exploring the Christmas markets and city centre with the tram stop next door and running every 8 minutes.

At check-in we were given the wrong room number and keys- took 15 minutes and 3 trips in the lift to sort out, however complimentary drinks given as a response. Although we booked a double room for 2 people only one set of towels was in the room. We asked at reception for a second set, but these never came.

Good size rooms, chairs to sit and excellent size TV. Good area for breakfast

Breakfast - very busy and had to wait over 5 minutes for a fork after asking 3 times. The staff were very nice and friendly and were working at pace, believe they need more staff at breakfast as fruit juice was empty and by the time I got my fork there was no knives. To be clear, staff were very nice and were working at pace / hard, when I spoke at reception saying it was very busy - she said this was quiet to normal as a comparison - which I believe shows they would have been more stretched if busier. The room - pillows were not ones I like, they kindly sent up different ones for the second night, but these were just the same. The second day towels were not replaced, on speaking at reception this was sent up straight away.

Room was very cold. It took a while to have room at a good temperature . When we asked for extra duvets, receptionist said they only had one. The duvet inner looked dirty maybe poor laundering. That didn't make it pleasant to use. Ventilation in room very poor, especially after using the toilet. There's no window or air con system. One can see whats happening in the bathroom as the glass allows one to see and the image is cast onto the mirror opposite the door There was no parking. Advert said there was parking on the premises

I liked the fact that the staff went above and beyond to help you, to make your stay comfortable and hassle free. It is also very secure as you can not get to the rooms unless you have your room key, as the lifts do not operate without it. The breakfast is brilliant my youngest loved the waffles which you make yourself and the selection of foods means there is something for everyone, it is a short 10/15 min walk to the town centre if you like shopping. Also i would like to mention that my eldest daughter was ill in the early hours and had been vomiting 🤢, the housekeeping girl was absolutely wonderful she came and cleaned it all even though i told her i would do it myself. All in all an absolutely great place and will definitely be visiting again next time in birmingham.

You're welcomed right from the moment you arrive. Not falsely, genuinely. We were asked which floor we preferred instead of just being given any. The whole place is spotless. Reception staff 10/10 the security man was so helpful 10/10 Cleaners 10/10 Breakfast was very tasty 10/10 Service staff 10/10 I can't comment on the bar as it wasn't used but from what I did see, it was spotless and fully stocked 10/10 The room was overlooking the tram line, never heard a thing at all so that's a 10/10 Distance (walking) was around 20 minutes to and from Birmingham New Street station. 15 minutes to the Utilita arena. I'm a mobility scooter user but rode at the pace of my children. I mentioned at check-out that I would definitely stay again without hesitation and will recommend it to everyone I know who will be staying in Birmingham for whatever reason. Oh I must add which is always on teenagers minds, wifi and plug sockets. WiFi is perfect and there are plenty of sockets around the room which also have the USB ports attached to them. No arguing over who needs charge! Always a bonus 👏

My only slight moan would be that I couldn't get a seat and table for breakfast. Being disabled with a broken back, I shouldn't climb on to a bar stool. I had no choice. I didn't feel safe enough to be getting up and down to get food and drink so only had a few bits and 1 coffee. I did notice people without any food or drinks left and they sat chit chatting. I understand some people like to rest a minute after eating but when they see you struggle and choose to ignore, that's when I have a problem with rudeness. 2 ladies who were working were absolutely brilliant. Thank you to both of you for trying to help me and even offering to bring me more of those delicious sausages I mentioned. Keep up your customer service skills because you're both amazing 👏

The staff were helpful and friendly. Room on 3rd floor was clean and comfy with a view over the city. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice and a very nice dining area so didn't feel rushed. St Paul's metro tram station ony 5 minutes walk from hotel although we didn't realise that until day two. Very little noise even though it was a busy weekend.

Jewellery Quarter gives the appearance of being a bit run down. The jewelry working museum had been closed due to lack of funding which was a bit disappointing. Pen museum and the Chamberlaim clock well worth a visit. Hotel is about 20 minutes walk from New street railway station . Will use the Metro tram next time.

This hotel has some poor ratings and so I was a little concerned before we arrived. I need not have worried as it was all good. The bedroom was spacious although the bathroom was more compact but still had a large walk in shower unit. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was included and was perfectly acceptable as a hotel buffet with hot and cold food on offer. I thought it was very good value for money. The hotel is right next to a tram stop which we don’t realise until we stumbled upon it and we used it a few times. I would definitely book this hotel again.

The staff weren’t the most attentive

I stay here a lot now always friendly staff, always willing to give you a perfect personable stay, clean rooms good breakfast, nice in evenings for drink at the bar etc

On this occasion the room I was in 337 was so stuffy and I had air con on trying to cool room down as I like to be cool had awful sleep as air was dry and too warm for me not had this problem before in other rooms unfortunately no windows open in this hotel which is shame but not hotels fault in design this will not stop me returning but just not in that room it was far too warm for me
