close to city, clean room standard noting special. the bath could be bigger, very small. Great breakfast though with very nice and caring staff. Nice nice pool area

not a fan of paying for parking when I stay at hotels. and in my opinion. Discount should be given to people that are willing to part at the hotel and not further.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean

The TV is a Smart Tv, however it is not possible to open youtube, netflix, etc. or neither it is possible to connect your device to the TV. There are some movies to watch, but they require payment (this is the first time where I see this in a 4 star hotel) . The swimming pool in the spa was cold. The bathroom in the room is poorly designed, there is no drainage on the floor and after shower, you can literally swim in the bathroom.

We were going to a concert at Symphony Hall so the location was fantastic. We had been allocated a room on the fifth floor but were moved to the sixteenth because we wanted a better view of Birmingham. The views were incredible! The room was clean & well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful

Our room (1610) had a big bathroom but it looked tired and dated. Also the hand basin was useless as the plug wouldn’t stay down. The decor in the room itself also looked a little dated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - 6 friends meeting up after lock down - Liam the Chef was lovely and made us very welcome -As did Sandra and Evelyn in the Regency Lounge. We felt it was value for money - and the hotel was very comfortable.

If I have to be negative we had 2 large rooms booked for 3 ladies in each - I was told 3 times that the roll away bed would be in the room on arrival (one large king size and one single bed) - but it wasn't - so had to get that sorted. It took literally minutes to sort. Not an issue but due to requesting this prior to arrival obviously instruction didn't reach appropriate person.

Enjoyed our stay here. Lovely view from 24th floor. Comfy room, Sky Sports in room. Very good food and room service. Staff were friendly. Recommended.

Wrote to ask for early checkin but room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 1pm. Partly booked for swimming pool but then they said kids can’t use it. Lot of noise from nearby club late at night, was glad we had a higher floor.

The hotel is great and access to the gym and pool are included in the booking price which is great! You can also book treatments at the Amala Spa which has a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and are well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable.

The price of breakfast is quite expensive at £24 per person, and the total price becomes quite high if you are staying for more than a night. Also having a TV in the room is great but it is not a smart TV and so there was no chrome cast options available.

Great location to Broad street after a night out. Clean rooms with plenty of tea/coffee, bottled water etc Comfy beds and pillows ensured a good nights sleep. Friendly staff on the reception and at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice of hot and cold food and the whole area was kept clean and tidy. Lobby area was stunning.

Our air conditioning didn’t work properly and our room was 25c. I phoned reception 3 times over a two hour period and was told someone would come to check the thermostat and bring a fan, they never arrived. We booked this hotel as it had a spa, the swimming pool was too cold, so we didn’t use it and the jacuzzi was out of order.

I really really in enjoyed my stay I even booked more nights as it was so lovely

**STOLEN MONEY** I really wasn't happy when I left as there should of only been 2 payments taken for my stay instead there was 3 in total. The first 2 was one for £445 The second was £475 Those 2 payments covered my stay. Come home and few days last had a 3nd payments taken for £515 I have no idea why I called the hotel and they said I should get it back within 24 hours and still to this day haven't received it yet. This is really disheartening and doesn't make me feel safe giving my card over again to this hotel. SUPER ANNOYING because this hotel was so lovely

We where given a room on the 22nd Floor looking out over Century Square, BT Tower and Birmingham City centre and beyond. It was a large spacious room with working air conditioning which was badly needed. We used the leisure centre, we loved it but would like to make people aware that the pool depth is 1.67metres and there is no shawallow end.

The cost of breakfast is very expensive and we went elsewhere each morning to get breakfast. I would have liked to have had a physcial map of Birmingham city centre, and also the bus and metro lines as I found navigating the apps on the phone very time consuming and you would have needed to know the names of the local bus and/or metro stops.

Beautiful scenery, local to most attractions and easily accessible. Very clean and room service 24 hours a day.

Using the lift proved difficult as you have to use your key cards, however your card will only take you to your floor and the lobby and other facilities. This became an inconvenience to most guests we spoke to during our stay, including a wedding guest who was trying to get to the bridesmaids on another floor to help leave the property and it wouldn’t allow her meaning she had to run down six flights of stairs to get to the bridesmaid’s in time! The pool was also very cold and most guests left within ten minutes of entering due to not enjoying the temperature of the pool. Parking is also not great and very limited.
