Clean room, very modern, great location and great value. Nice having a bar and restaurant downstairs. Staff generally ok.

Lift continues to be out of order. Clearly no intention of sorting. Was advised upon check in of complimentary drinks in the room including prosecco but nothing in the fridge when we entered. Messaged to inform reception but were ignored. Assume they couldn't be bothered to address and put right. Not great having a booze supplier delivery at 7am in the morning, having barrells being rolled on the pavement outside. Very noisy at this time in the morning.

The location in the Jewellery Quarter, walkable from New Street Station (I only had overnight luggage) and very handy for my early evening event. It was very clean and seemed to have been recently modernised in an industrial style. There was an iron and ironing board on the room. Receptionist was efficient, friendly and apologetic that the lift did not work. The pub next door served a good breakfast in peace and quiet. I hope to stay again.

The place appeared closed with all doors locked. After a bit, I went and asked in the pub next door and that is where reception is with an internal door into the hotel. I was concerned about the music but that stopped at 1030.

Great location on a quiet square with some nice bars and restaurants very close by. 5 mins walk to jewellery quarter and 10 mins is phenomenal to city centre and canals Ground floor is a really nice bar and restaurant with a good atmosphere in the evening. Live music on Friday night and female singer was fantastic. Music stopped at 11:30 which was good too Plenty of toiletries provided All staff very friendly and helpful. Car park behind the hotel but at a cost of £21.50 per day

Unfortunately the lift was out of order and our room was on 2nd floor. Remote control in room wasn’t working for tv and we did ask for new batteries which didn’t fix the issue

This hidden gem was a remarkable hotel. It was excellent value for money and was worth every penny. My only gripe was the lift was out of order so any guests with accessible needs would have not been able to get to the room. The room itself was spotless. The mini bar had complimentary Prosecco, water and apple juice. There was a gorgeous leather settee to chillout on and an additional chair. The make up area had a kettle with tea etc and a huge mirror and chair. The hotel itself was a 1 minute walk from the Jam House where we were seeing a gig. Breakfast was £15 per person and was brilliant value for money. The bar area was very cosy with lots of different seating areas. Loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The fact that there was no coffee available in the room, only tea was a disappointment, although I could have probably asked at reception. Again, the lift being out of order was an inconvenience but could have made your stay impossible.

The property is very well presented and the breakfast was £15 and good value for money, it was tasty too. Great location and some nice bars in the square it was quiet too in the room

When we got there, we were an hour early, but there wasn’t any staff at the reception desk, other staff had to go get her and when asked about checking in or should we get a drink and wait she said I was busy upstairs sorting the rooms out so we can check in, we sat and waited with a drink and another couple came up half an hour later and she checked them in right away and then called us up. She was helpful in the end and nice I think we maybe got off on the wrong foot, but maybe they need more staff to just say, you are early. take a seat and feel free to order from the bar.

Perfect location for what I needed... quick check in, parking at rear (paid for to a separate company), surprised there was a full bar and restaurant on the bottom floor. Although I there was a Dj and loud music, I got asked to be moved to the second floor, pre-empting it was going to keep me awake. I could not hear the music coming through to the upper floors. :) Comfortable and nice sized room

Elevator out of order, which was slightly inconvenient as I had heavy luggage, but the two flights of stairs were easy enough to go up. Other than that, nothing else.

The hotel is situated in a quiet and beautiful square, facing a lovely church, and is walking distance from access to canals as well as the city centre shops and attractions. During our stay (November) the centre of the square was a carpet of golden leaves - movie-like. The main bar/restaurant area was homely yet popular and breakfast was lovely. Staff were very helpful, our room was large and comfortable. Off the square is the most amazing restaurant Ive ever visited - Lasan. HIGHLY recommend

I loved everything about the property!

The bar was very lively in the evening but the atmosphere felt safe and staff were very attentive. The restaurant staff accommodated some small changes to the menu to suit our needs without any fuss and the breakfast was , freshly cooked and really tasty

The bed side cabinets in the room whilst attached to the wall were both showing signs of wear. The paintwork on the cabinet to one side was chipped and had exposed the underlying wood. The other bedside cabinet's lower shelf kept falling off the unit. This let the otherwise great presentation of the room down which was a shame.

Beautifully decorated, perfect location, delicious food/cocktails and friendly staff. The restaurant was very reasonable. Loved the late breakfast time (11:30am on Sunday), meaning we had a lovely, lazy lie in beforehand. Parking very convenient. Loved our stay!

The bed was a little hard for me, but that’s personal preference. Breakfast service was quite slow, even though it was quiet when we arrived there on Sunday morning. On Saturday evening, the ladies toilets required some cleaning attention, but rather than complaining (like another lady I met in the loo’s!), I simply had a quiet word with a staff member in the bar, and she thanked me, apologised and immediately went to get them sorted out - back to perfection in no time. Excellent!

An interesting hotel well situated within a 20 minute walk along the canal to the Utilita arena. The ground floor has a large bar & restaurant area, the upper floors all dedicated to nicely presented hotel rooms. Lovely clean rooms with all the necessary resources, PLENTY of towels (lovely) comfortable bed & my wife discovered the soft pillow in the morning (LOL) I liked the firmer ones. This is the second time that we've stayed here, both times for concerts at the utilita and have enjoyed it both times especially the super friendly & helpful staff (including the cleaners). In comparison to European city hotels this is slightly more expensive than some but has been worth the extra in our opinion. A couple of moans, the lift still isn't working & wasn't last year..! 3 coat hangers for two people, please supply more, thanks. Finally £24.50 for parking, seriously? It was £15 last year, sub contracting the parking doesn't justify the parking fees. I will have to take that into account now when I come to Birmingham again, especially considering how many competitors that you have close by. A big thanks to all of the staff.

No working lift. Ridiculous parking fees - Actually for 24 hrs but there's no option on the app to reduce the time or the charge. Coat hangers dudes...!
