Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms and all staff very courteous and pleasant. We met Irene in the bar. A lovely lady who looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble and chatted easily to us making our stay very pleasant. The special offer of £9 for breakfast was very welcome and the lady in there was very sociable and helpful.
There is nothing not to like at this lovely hotel. Just sad the menu for the evening meal on Friday 3rd January was very limited being just after New Year so we did not eat there.

Very spaces room with a bath excellent
My food preferences are different to most as i do not eat meat, daily or bread I lead an Alkaline Life style as to many foods are acidic I only use organic olive//coconut/avocado oil The mecure uses vegetable oil But in fairness to the chef he came out to speak to me and he managed to put something together on the Friday night which I was very grateful for along with the help from the friendly bar staff the.young lady with long black hair in particular Thankyou ❤️

Central to onward journey for a wedding reception. Easy check-in and good bar area. Bedrooms were clean and well prepared. Lift worked and plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit, juice, waters, cooked self service breakfast and an excellent self serve coffee machine. Plenty of staff removing empty plates and refilling buffet area. Lovely wedding reception in progress and lively guests
Single beds in twin room were not particularly comfortable but for one night, they were acceptable.

Great choice of breakfast items and relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff in the bar and breakfast restaurant. The young man working in the bar area was very helpful and pleasant, and provided great service. Very comfortable and clean rooms, with everything that I needed.
There was a lack of usable sockets in the room - I needed to charge work equipment (ipad etc) and most electrical sockets didn't have enough space below then for the charging lead to fit in (i.e. sockets on the desk top were too close to the desk which was fixed in place I think) so I could only use the kettle socket to charge phone and ipad. The kettle had a very strange smell after boiling - which I think was from electrical heat.

Stayed here over Christmas for a couple of days while visiting family. I've never stayed here but was very pleased with my stay. Staff we're very good and helpful, and the room was yes dated, but very clean and comfortable. But the winner for me was breakfast. What can I say apart from amazing. We've decided next time we visit family, there's no doubt where we will be staying.
The part we stayed in, I'm guessing, was the old part of the hotel and definitely needs freshing up a bit. But it definitely wouldn't stop me from staying

Nice, clean rooms with very comfortable beds, quality linen and very good customer service. Free parking. Breakfast is highly recommended. There is a swimming pool without any additional charge unlike in other places, you can use facilities even after check out. Breakfast offers traditional full English plus standard European with fresh fruit, yoghurts, lovely tea and coffee, serial and many more. Staff was very friendly especially Lydia who was taking care of dining area during breakfast and she was very helpful, took a good care of us and her warm smile made my day. Very good value for money. Do not hesitate to book.

Easy to book online and the description was good. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and a good size TV. The bathroom had everything needed with lovely toiletries. A very extensive choice at the breakfast buffet which we thoroughly enjoyed. My partner's scarmbled eggs were made to order. Booking in and out was a smooth process. General areas were clean. There is plenty of parking.
No biscuits or bottled water provided like other places we have stayed.

Almost everything. See ratings
There was no food service, apparently because of a problem with the gas supply to the kitchen. Assuming this to be true it was unfortunate but would be understood as unavoidable. However, there was no information saying there was a problem; in fact at 6pm the menu board still stated food was available from 5pm when clearly that was not the case. The staff seemed not to have been told (& may have unfairly have borne the brunt of customer’s annoyance.). The receptionist Brun C was most courteous & helpful & directed us to a restaurant where we were able to eat - but two hours later than planned. A surprising failure of management which took the edge off our stay and which could have been largely mitigated by providing information.

Everything was perfectly fine The room was fairly spacious the window could be opened The bed was very comfortable No walk-in shower and it was a very steep step into the bath We booked late and did not ask about the shower Are there any rooms with walk in showers My husband has had a knee replacement so that was the only fault that we could find Breakfast was excellent and we were impressed by the quality of the cooked breakfast offerings and we noticed how quickly empty trays were being replaced
As we arrived in the dark we found the lack of signage a bit of a problem

The staff went over and beyond - they were friendly , helpful and welcoming . The hotel is great value and easy access with big car park . Bed was huge . Everything was very clean and tidy . Breakfast excellent and easy to have so many facilities on site .
All was great . The room was smart and bright although the armchair a bit tired but it durant well itself as a boutique hotel and it compares really well to some 4* hotels I’ve stayed in .
