Great location for local bars and pubs. Lovely pub inside the decor is fantastic with stained glass. Special mention for the extremely friendly staff - I had fraud on my card on the day I was there and had to cancel my details, so the lady from the hotel called me directly when I got home to ensure my refund of the security deposit went through which I was extremely grateful for. Good value for town centre and we had a family room so price split between us. Room was clean with a lovely spacious bathroom

The only criticism was on the photo of the family room it looked like there were 3 beds but 3rd bed was actually a fold out camp bed which would really be more suitable for a child, so was quite uncomfortable with a thin futon style cover over the springs and it was low to the ground and quite small, but other than that the room was great and I would definitely stay again. The area itself it really noisy into the early hours due to the location, which absolutely didnt bother us as we were there for a gig. But for others if you are a light sleeper or expecting an early night the noise may bother you

Central location right next to one railway station and down the road from the other which for my rail enthusiast of a partner was excellent - train spotting from the bedroom windows! It was quiet though too - I wasn't disturbed by the trains. Lovely big bathroom and shower. We didn't have any breakfast although I know they offer lunch and dinner in the pub. Great pub too - good range of real ales. Friendly landlady who was quite happy to come and chat with us in the pub. We were in room 5.

The train themed design being close to the train station was a lovely touch. Very friendly and helpful staff and a modern and stylish room. Overnight parking isn't too expensive and parking wise the car park is locked over night which was nice to know. The hotel has a pub which made for an excellent end to the night for our stay. Coded doors also helps with security knowing your room is always secure. Will certainly plan another stay should i be heading up that way :)

it’s very central & right near the station, there is a car park down the side at the back which they have a deal with so very reasonable for overnight stay.

not worth the money as they don’t do breakfast, we booked through booking.com & so did our friends who had a room next door but one to us there’s was £25 cheaper! which we can’t understand as they also booked with booking.com

lovely period property adjacent to the train station. Unfortunately we were too late for food but later on enjoyed the bar facilities. Beds are first class - some comfy. Host was fantastic and you know that customer service is paramount. highly recommend.

the only thing to be aware of is it’s difficult to check in early, even to leave bags.

The staff were excellent and the position in the town was good. The room was small but very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Whilst the position of the hotel is great it is in the town centre near to a nightclub. Also other guests returning letting doors slam was not ideal.

The staff were friendly and the room was great. The location was perfect and I’d definitely stay again.

Shame there was no proper breakfast. Especially for the price. These was a little noise/rumble from trains going past but nothing too bad. The occasional slamming door too.

We were traveling to see P!nk and needed a place overnight that was relatively near to the University of Bolton stadium, quiet and clean and a reasonable price. We found it. We were running late and the team were very flexible in giving us access to our room. Thank you!

We had a couple arguing all nite nextdoor,lost there keys and were kicking the doors.i rang the number in the book no answer ,need a mobile number for emergencys.not the hotels fault about horrible guests and the manager was sorry about it ,like i said ,not her fault

Staff were very helpful & accommodating, the room was exceptionally clean & decorated to a high standard! Very Modern yet had a surprisingly homely feeling to it - the bed itself felt as though I was laying on a cloud. Absolutely wonderful stay!

The room could have had a hair dryer but wasn’t the end of the world 🤷🏻‍♂️
