Very welcoming, friendly staff. Comfortable beds, plenty of teabags & coffee. Constant hot water. Lovely & clean rooms. Very close to town centre with lots of places for dining / takeaway. 15 minutes walk to train station ( through the town centre). Loved the indoor market still got the old fashioned feel about it, if you’re a lover of pork pies/ famous bury black pudding’s this is a place not to be missed. There are not many indoor market halls like this left now in the uk. All in all an enjoyable stay.

The staff were very friendly. Fifteen is a lovely pub serving real ale and if I had stayed for longer I would have had a few more drinks there. The street was quiet at night and I was not disturbed by noises from the hotel or pub.

If the table lamp were fitted with a longer cord it could have reached the bedside table. This would have been much more convenient for the guest. I stayed during a cold snap and a cosy blanket left in the wardrobe would have been appreciated.

We've stayed here before and like it because of its location: it's handy for the town centre and the park where the Wigan 10k starts from. We've always found the staff friendly and the fact that breakfast isn't provided doesn't bother us as we're there for the race.

The room we had was above the bar area and there was live music in the evening until 11pm, which was loud and a bit disturbing.

Had yet another wonderful stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help us as I am disabled, good prices and particularly loved the warm pork scratchings. The clientele we also great, I feel that that reflects the staffs personality. I is extremely family orientated and you are made to feel that you are a part of that. All I can say is thankyou to Karen, Chris, Aleisha, Mike and Lisa for a great time. Looking forward to our next stay in July. Toilets were easy accessible for me as well.

Just the stairs, but We were great once we got to our room.

The room was very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and shower gels supplied. The bed was firm and comfortable and the bedlinen had the crisp fresh feel of good quality bedlinen. The shower was excellent with a powerful spray and a good temperature. There were enough sockets, including one close to the bed. The TV worked easily with a wide variety of channels. The member of staff who showed me my room was pleasant. There is free overnight parking right outside (but not during the day) It is handy for the centre of Wigan.

The entrance area/ staircase to the rooms creates a poor impression which I was relieved was not borne out when I reached my room.

The accommodation matched the expectations of the price and venue. It served all the lads needs. If you want 5* dont book here but if you want a basic room with ensuite for the night, this is the place. Close to bars and a short walk into the centre of town. Ideal for a stay over in Wigan.

Answering the phone. We tried for hours to stay we wouldn't arrive until 7pm but nobody answered.

Great location for centre of Wigan, whilst relatively sheltered from traffic and noise.

Though the room was comfortable and the bed was clean,, there was a slight shabbiness to the room and furnishings. We would stay again because of the price and location, but I'd rate is as 7.5 to 8 at best.
