Location and friendly staff

The kitchen had cockroaches,i don't mind them but not in such a nice place especially when I'm on a vacation😉

Amongst other things, I was so impressed with the excellent service we received during our stay. The staff were superb. I won't be doing justice if I don't mention the lady by the name of Vuyo and the other white in complection african lady that was serving tea at the dining hall. Wow, what friendly and helpful people you have there.

Everything I needed was provided for, and the food was exceptional. I love your rooms, comfortable beds, and neat style 👌 I will definitely come back and will recommend this hotel to my friends as well.

- The room was spacious -Staffs polite

- Light could have been improved in the room. - Even though it is mentioned that if towels needs to be replace to place the towels down which I did not but everyday the towels were changed which ws not needful may be once or if asked. - Breakfast options could have been improved in terms of variety. Since there is no coffee machine like before, the coffee/te service is slow or several times not even asked unless asked the staffs to provide coffee/tea.

The staff was absolutely fantastic, Yolanda at front desk was so accommodating and helpful as this was a last minute business trip..... The rooms are well kept and beds was comfy and we had a nice view of the fountain. We was in a standard room this time but my previous visit was in corner balcony room and it was absolutely stunning. The staff at breakfast was absolutely amazing. Grace and the sweet mama at the omelet station that was there on day 1 along with the rest are so special.... I unfortunately did not get all their names but everyone of them was service champions. They made my daughter feel so special as it was her birthday week and I was so well taken care off because I'm 8 months pregnant. Its always so nice staying at the fountain hotel and I always recommend this hotel to anyone visiting CPT

The location is great as it's cbd, but the outside isn't the safest so be alert of your surroundings at all times unfortunately this is city center it's not the hotels fault. The parking is safe and secure and private but can be a Hassel because it's very snug and you need to have pretty good parking skills or you will run into problems. The breakfast is good as the variety is wide I noticed the traditional breakfast of serving baked beans is not common in most hotels in Capetown maybe that could be added to the menu instead of mushrooms or potatoes.... Other than that the pastry's are top notch and eggs are made to perfection. 👌

I loved everything! Amazing, very helpful and friendly staff! My family enjoyed their stay here. Location, being centrally located to most attractions is just perfect! I’ll definitely book it again

I was in apartment 1107 and there’s a disturbing noise there at one of the rooms, the smaller one with twin beds, esp at night. Every day. We reported this disturbance and the desk immediately sent the maintainance gentleman to our apartment. Who sadly then informed us that the noise actually comes from the elevator and that the room is sitting in the path of the elevator together with 2 other apartments. I don’t know if sound proofing can help with this problem but it’s a big problem, I hardly slept at night because of this noise

The location is fantastic, the service is superb and the dining is good. The rooms are basic and adequate, but what makes the stay memorable is the warmth and the friendliness of all the staff. Keenan, the hotel manager, was exceptional and the head chef was most engaging. The porter doubled up as the entertainer in the evening and he is such a musically talented gentleman. We really enjoyed his performance.

I don't like that there is no milk available at the tea/coffee station in the room. And something needs to be done about the ventilation in the dining area, as it fills with smoke in the morning. Apart from that the stay was wonderful.

Cleanliness of the rooms. Ease of access to transportation.

The back entrance, which is supposedly the entrance where the reception is situated, it is dodge on that side but the front of the hotel is fine I guess. The breakfast options for the buffet can be elevated a little bit more. For instance, they had a potato and onion mix which was served, this didn't make sense for me. I'll give their breakfast offering a 7/10.

- Stayed stay Fountains Hotel on a few occasions. - The nice upgrade from a One Bedroom Apartment to a Two Bedroom Apartment on the 11th Foor with a nice biew - Breakfast was good with different option. - The location in CBD and walking distance to Long Street and other places.

- Request for a late check-out, I totally understand if the hotel is full, it is subject to availability but if the hotel not busy at at all or few arrivals or no arrival in the same room, would have appreciated a Free Late check out as a gesture until like 2pm.

The apartment was well laid out and comfortable for us as a family. The location of the hotel was perfect for the areas and places we wanted to see. All were in walking distance. Parking was safe.

The towels were a bit ragged and old. The fixtures in the bathrooms needed updating but we were informed that they are busy with this already. The breakfast that we had at the restaurant the next morning was quite expensive so will maybe book that together with our stay next time.

Great location, very clean room and good services, very good quality and cheap food and beverages. Most of the the staff were helpful and very friendly. Very good breakfast and all meals I tried were tasty. Lastly the lobby and restaurant area were of high standards.

My room was not so quiet as I could here noises either from the road or from the corridors. Although I was on the 5th floor, the room was occasionally smelling like a kitchen. Probably the kitchen ventilation was passing through my room. The worst thing though was the bad internet signal. I could not get a proper and steady signal at any time which was very annoying.
