My room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed their breakfast.

It turns out it’s two hotels which are not necessarily close to each other, I checked in at the other one and still had to go to the other one. It was confusing for Uber requests because they go to the one that I wasn’t at, particularly because even on Ubers the names are combined. There was no note with telephone extensions in the room for reception or room service.

It was clean n accommodating

The breakfast at V&V, the manager didi not allow us to have a takeaway for our breakfast just after dishing even though we explained the rush to where we were supposed to be. We had to miss our breakfast.

Breakfast was great. However, communications needed to be clearer, especially around restaurants as there are several ones linked to the hotel. One restaurant had a special for comrades runners special dinner, which I booked for. However, I went to a different one because I could not differentiate them. After the meal, I was told that my balance is higher than what I thought I reserved the place for. Even though eventually the matter was resolved, it would still be ideal to be specific and clear from the on set. On my last morning, the water pressure was low in the bathrooms, and there was no hot water either.

The ambiguous communications about the restaurants, and of course bathing with cold water in winter is not the kind of thing one wants to do while staying at a hotel.I hope that was a once-off situation.

I was celebrating my birthday and my room was upgraded. I was treated to non-alcoholic champagne and cake on my birthday. They really made my stay beautiful. Thank you to the guest relations manager

Hard and Stale crossaints... Both restaurants (Elangeni and Maharani) they used to have the softest freshesh crossaints in the past

The staff was friendly, delicious breakfast and supper, safe parking area

Water would take more than 30 minutes to drain from the bath, whereas the other family member must take a bath as well, the carpet needs cleaning, the hotel does not provide drinking water, there are no toilet brushes, if someone messes in the toilet bowl, you will stay with a dirty toilet until the following day when the cleaners arrive, of which is not good for our personal hygiene

Generally the services are good and we appreciate the great attitude of the staff and their assistance. Room service food is great.

The breakfast area is extremely noisy and overpacked at times. The quality of food is deteriorating. The phone quality the room needs to be urgently addressed. You can not hear the other person and the line cuts off. It is a nightmare to call room service. This is because it is not a proper phone line!! The requirement to check-in first and then park needs to be reviewed. If there is evidence of reservation people should be allowed to park and produce the tag thereafter. It is often busy and potentially unsafe in the front public parking area. Furthermore, sometimes there is no parking and the area is congested. If you arrive late at night e.g. 22h00 it is not acceptable to be expected to follow that process.

The place was clean and nice. Close to Spar and the Beach... As for breakfast I give them 10/10 with their freshly baked bread and scones, they have a variety of options.... I stayed at Elangeni.

The fridge was not working (room 725) and this created a serious inconvenience as I had to buy ice from Spar to keep my beverages cool and I reported this issue to Ashnee at reception upon my arrival and nothing was done about it 0/10 for that and the cleaning ladies arriving late for cleaning create a bit of inconveniences on some days. I suggest that during peak time the hotel must increase the capacity of their cleaners.

The room was sea facing and comfortable. Good access to the internet.

The parking was at the hotel next to Elangeni and across the street, at times there were people loitering in the street, I felt unsafe when coming back at night.

when i made my booking i had selected to stay at Elangeni, however, upon check-in i was informed that i will be staying at Maharani
