The room was great, warm bedding, TV with channels playing, generator when there is load shedding, fridge, welcome drinks(water), enough towels. Restuarant on site. Great location.

The shower didn't work properly, ended up using the bath tub.

I loved the service by some of the staff, especially management, and the chef took control of the kitchen and was guiding the waiter to clear staff and was very helpful. The car guards and security services are very respectful, including housekeeping. I love that they had Netflix.

The furniture needs to be refurbished it's very nice but very old. The place looks like it needs a steam deep clean, especially the carpet. The stairs and some parts of the walls are sticky. There is no pool or enough parking space, but they have a parking system that is working, and I applaud them.

The receptionist was good. The staff was welcoming, friendly and eager to assist. The room was clean, neat and warm. The bed was comfortable, and big enough for my size. The breakfast was superb. It had various options to choose from. I loved everything about the breakfast, as it catered for a variety of persons! The staff, Nosipho in particular, was very kind and always at hand to offer help when needed. I love the location of this hotel. It is literally right at the beach - less than 3 minutes walk. I am not kidding!

Room location, and halaal meal. The view from my window was not sea-facing, which is something I like most. There was no bacon or pork. Unfortunately, that is something outside the staff's control. Other than that, everything was near perfect.

The buffet breakfast was good. The location is perfect. And the dinner was perfect. The staff very friendly and welcoming. The parking lot staff 👌 Keep up the good work. We will come back again next time

I booked double beds but they joined two single beds with two single beds linen and we were the couple it was very difficult for us to sleep. We had to call reception to atleast borrow us a double size comforter atleast to cover ourselves. The receptionist brought it and apologized and promised to rectify the mistake in the morning. And in the morning everything corrected

The room and hotel as a whole was spotless. At first it seemed old but it was exceptional. The staff were really friendly and helpful. What else was outstanding was the staff from the reception to the maids to the valets were all so neatly dressed in suits. Makes the hotel so professional. Unfortunately we did not eat at the hotel as we had friends at other hotels so we always met out and ate at other venues, however, I did look at Balmorals menu and it is really impressive. Next time I will definately have a meal here. Our room everytime we entered always had a fresh smell. In fact everywhere in the hotel smelled so clean and fresh.

My room vanity light didnt work, room also was very dark. Lighting can be improved. We battled to get the bath tap to stay in shower mode. It kept slipping off. The toilet bowl kept running, if maintenance can sort that out as well. The lift is very tiny. Apart from these minor issues, the hotel is fabulous and I will definately recommend to others.

Balmoral was the place of my wedding reception. Hence we came back for our anniversary stay. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere (inside the hotel). The room was spacious although small. Very smart setup of the room. We loved the look and the vibe that it gave us. The breakfast was on point. I do feel the steak and omelette could have had a bit more flavour. My wife enjoyed her stay and that makes me content. Water was always hot when I needed it and I must say hats off to the staff! They never refused and always served me happily. Theres more I can say but lets leave it at that... short and sweet.

I was given a hair dryer upon request. No problem there. Unfortunately the 2 pin connections in the room did not match the one on the hair dryer so my wife could not actually dry her hair properly. I also did not like the fact that I got so full I could not eat more of the delicious breakfast! Haha Please ensure the window sills are brushed off as this fine particles came in little by little with the wind. No big deal. Oh yes and the WiFi dropped which was a bummer

On arrival security until departure security was great, the reception & with warm welcoming and support was so touching like they knew my circumstances in life. My mom with dementia was very comfortable and felt very special and the staff assisted when help requested. Thumbs up to all employees and even to the travellers were so kind to us. I had exceptional Christmas time and reted just wished had booked 4 more days.

The not sound proofed walls and the physical disadvantage ramp in the reception not available worse night time its scary to use alternative. The system needs to indicate that i.d copy is required.
