All staff very friendly, helpful and put you at ease, no matter what time of day. Roof top bar a nice touch to start the evening with a cocktail. Bar tender attentive and created a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent for the price of €10 per person per day. Great central location, good shopping in the main city. Tram station near by and easy to use to visit neighbouring locations. There is a lot of exploring to do on foot. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Les Monges is an old building that has mainly been up dated with beautiful original features but the bathroom was a little tired and needs some attention but was perfectly functional and did not reduce the quality of the stay. There was some occasional noise at night from outside but being a city location this is to be expected. My only real moan is about booking.com, our original room was advertised as a double, once booking complete Les Monges contacted to say the room was not double and unsuitable for a couple and only had a single bed. So we upgraded for an extra €100. When I contacted booking.com about this we received no assistance or apology for their miss description! Check the cheaper room before you book. Shame on you booking.com to force an upgrade!

Spent 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming, polite and could not do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. The room was lovely and breakfast which was included was excellent quality. Perfect location for visiting old town and further afield. Communicating with the hotel staff before our stay and making special arrangements was excellent and car parking arranged and we were met on arrival as car park is a mere 30 second walk away. It was the small things and attention to detail which made the staff and the stay absolutely fantastic. Shall most definately stay again ...value for money and wonderful service ....thankyou to everyone at Les Monges

Well located, 24/7 reception and amenities like fridge and smart tv, could block the light from outside coming in the room completely. Very good price.

Walls are paper thin, you can hear somebody farting in the other room and most importantly the very noisy hallway. Don’t think you can sleep till midday. Rooms are super tiny, I have never seen anything as small as that (but still packed with essential amenities) - literally no floor space to place anything, it’s literally minimum for one person to set a foot on the way between bed/window/closet/fridge/bathroom.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent, clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast - 'low key', but very good food and definitely all that we want from a breakfast. Excellent location - couldn't be better!

Well, if we had travelled with car: Not easy to access unless this part of the old town is familiar to you. (Luckily, we didn't try). Recommendation: Park your car outside the old town and take a taxi to the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. Plus, in the nights it wasn’t noisy at all, despite the fact that hotel is located in the center of the city. The location was also ideal, providing easy access to local attractions and dining. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Les Monges was a brilliant find - location was superb so close to the ayuntamiento & the marina. The decor was quirky & interesting plus our corner room had 3 small balconies! It is an old Convent which was amusing to 2 ex Convent girls! We had an amazing week exploring the old town & surrounds with the many historical sites. The hotel had a nice rooftop with a great view closeup to Castilla Santa Barbara - as it was winter the bar was closed but we were able to bring our own supplies - however in summer it would be crowded! The Brazilian manager Guillermo is the hotel's best asset - so attentive & couldn't do enough to help us - all the staff were friendly & helpful. The Continental Spanish breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice - loved the dark bread!

They were doing renovations during our stay and the room above us was very noisy with banging at times of the day. The breakfast buffet had some hot food which we didn't try as it didn't seem to be replenished as always looked dried out.

We stayed at the hotel just before Christmas Eve. The location was excellent. Central but also peaceful. The front of house staff were so very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were even given an upgrade on the room we booked! This made our Christmas stay even more special.

If we had to be very picky...we just wouldn't book the parking again. The access is not great. If you have a low suspension car, it scrapes the ground upon entry and exit. The lock-up itself is good. However, this would not prevent us from booking the hotel again!

Hotel location was superb, loved being in the old town within easy walking distance of the beach, Santa Barbara castle and the seafront and marina. Our room was a good size, it would have been good to have a sofa or a couple of comfortable chairs to sit on in it. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice. Enjoyed an evening drink in the rooftop bar, great views over the city.

A couple of comfortable chairs in the bedroom would be good. Also, bedside lights on both sides of the bed (there was only one on one side in Room 203).

The location was excellent, really close to the beach and also restaurants and supermarkets. Right in the old town so the building was beautiful. Clean rooms that were really comfortable and lovely, nice bathrooms too with all things you might need like a hairdryer, shampoo etc. I loved the interior style of the room, old brick walls and wooden shutters with modern light fittings and style overall. I would happily stay here again!

The double bed was just two single beds pushed together with a cover over the top, so in the middle of the night I fell through the gap as the beds moved easily! Just meant I had to sleep on one side so not the end of the world, but worth noting if you are expecting a normal double bed. It is quite a noisy hotel with people coming and going through the night, which was not a big problem for me but also something to be aware of if that bothers you!

Fantastic location in the Old city. Beautiful reformed hotel, very contemporary furnishings inside. Our room was decorated to a very high tasteful standard. Amazing shower and stand alone marble bath tub. Greeted with complimentary fizz on arrival. First class amenities in hotel room. Great choice of restuarants within 3 min walk of hotel. Front of house staff absolutely amazing, friendly and informative of the area. Very very nice in every possible way. . Breakfast was amazing too ! Would def return and highly recommend,
