I stayed in this cosy hotel for two weeks, everything was perfect. What I love the most about this hotel the front desk staff, who makes you feel like you are home Antonio, lara, Ahmad & Juan, they all super friendly and welcoming, always there to help. They deserve big thanks for exceptional service specially Antonio 👏

The hotel is very central - it's easy to get basically everywhere by foot, and also there's a metro station 3 minutes walk from the hotel and another metro station about 7 minutes walk from the hotel. The street is quiet and the sound proofing for outside noise was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and also the pillows. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily including changing the towels. The room was spacious, decorated with taste and the furniture and bathroom utilities were all brand new. The lighting in the room was good. Hotel rooms tend to be dark and here this was not the case. The curtains blocked light from outside pretty well. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the receptionist even gave us little treats for the way when we waited for our taxi to the airport at 5am. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

Two things: 1. The sound proofing for the corridor was pretty much non existant... We could hear everything. 2. Twice I found hairs in my towel. It was obvious that the towel was laundered and cleaned, but I would suggest taking a closer look before putting towels in the rooms :)

I stayed in Madrid for a 5-day solo vacation, and the location of the hotel couldn’t have been more ideal. It’s centrally located and incredibly convenient for getting around. Being so close to the Sunday flea market was a huge bonus, as I could easily return to the hotel midway through my shopping to drop off bags. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The cleanliness was top-notch—despite me leaving the room around 1 or 2 PM, the housekeeping team always managed to clean thoroughly. Each time I returned, the room was perfectly tidy, and I couldn’t find a single thing to fault. Though I had read some comments about noise and soundproofing issues, I personally didn’t experience any disturbances. The cleaning staff either started later in the day or were very quiet, as I didn’t hear a thing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were spotless. I’m usually picky about pillows, especially in hotels where they tend to be too soft, but the pillows here were firm and the perfect height. I had excellent sleep every night. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing really

The location is good - close to metro station and if you prefer to walk, not that far from most of the attractions in Madrid. In fact, very close to the famous Plaza Mayor. Love the location. I found this gem by accident when the booked hotel cancelled my reservation at the last minute and I had to find a new place to stay when I reached Madrid. Found this hotel via Booking.com and it really exceed my expectation - not bad for a last minute and panic booking!

The room slightly small but I guess it normal in big city like Madrid - still comfortable for two. Noise from the window late at night but when the windows are closed, it all okay.

Excellent location. The hotel was located just above the Tirso de Molina metro station. But this station access is ONLY by stairs. It is 12-15mins from Sol station. Amenities (Cafe, restaurants and supermarket) all within 200m.distance. The bed is very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, offering advices. I had a question about my connecting flight. I was also late for a day tour. Claudia was very helpful to take note of my question and left a message with her colleague, answering my question.

The room was very small. I have only seen such small rooms in cities such as Tokyo. There wasn't enough space for a table to put a tea cup.

Super-clean and fresh room, towels, bedding, nice modern interior, the thermostat worked well, the room was cleaned every day, a very good soundproofing, a kettle with tea & coffee in the room, a steamer and a hairdryer in the room, elevators, the staff are super-friendly, helpful and speak English fluently. On our last day we were staying around a while after the checkout, so we used the code-protected lockers for our luggage in the hotel (free of charge). The location is fantastic, in the old town, and the neighborhood feels safe for foreigners, the major sights and restaurants are within walking distance. Supermarkets and the metro nearby (but we didn’t need to use the metro though). We had a room with a terrace on the top floor - it was very nice and was worth paying a little extra.

Comfy bed and pillows, nicely decorated room with a spacious bathroom. There was a TV with Netflix and Prime. Additionally, there was a mini fridge and a kettle plus tea and coffee. Something that I haven't seen before in any hotel was a steam iron in the room, which was very useful to freshen up the clothes. Also, there were a lot of nice cafeterias and restaurants around and a Lidl and 24h Carrefour.

The smell that is being put in the rooms (I guess some air freshener?) was very strong and irritating. We had a room on the ground floor which was with a bathroom for people with disabilities which is not a great but there was only a shower curtain and the water went all over the bathroom.

The hotel is nice we got a room with king bed and a terrace, the room itself was a bit small but the terrace was really nice and spacious It’s in a good location and can get to most attractions walking but not very central, the street itself around the hotel is quiet but doesn’t have a lot of cafes and restaurants, so you’d need to walk a bit It’s clean and comfortable and convenient for the price Special thanks to Antonio, he really assisted during our stay

Some basic necessities like slippers for example were missing The street around the hotel is a bit empty at night

everything was great, we were there only 4 1 night, but the experience was more than we expected for the price, the front desk attendant, (unfortunately, we did not memorize his name, as our stay was so short!), was genuinly caring and helpful in all respects, we will most definitely book with the BYPILLOW again, as a matter of fact, we will stay there after we come back to Madrid from our southern Spain bus tour that we are currently on, from Thursday, November 21st night and until the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24th, when we be leaving for home.

The room is clean and the size is fine for one person. It also has Netflix so it is a bonus for me. The hotel is close to a Metro station but on a quiet lane away from noisy restaurants and bars. I walked to the main attractions instead of using the train. I found a lane with great brunches so I was happy. I won't have gone there if I was not staying nearby. Genuinely friendly staff at the reception who speak English well.

Hard to think of something that bothered me. I guess little things such as not having a safe, not having tissues and the deco in the room can be quite dark, may bother more to others.
