The room was spacious and comfortable, great outlets, the TV was good and the balcony gave a good view to the street. Centrally located on the metro 1 to other attractions. great restaurants. The bathroom was spacious and great shower head.

The street noise, was mostly every night, garbage collectors, delivery, people screaming. If you are a light sleeper better bring earplugs. At times even with the fan in the room could not cool it down.

the central location, close to Prado and plaza Major, comfy beds, clean linens and towels. little fridge, kettle and cups in the room. the staff at the reception was so kind to wait for our late arrival, even though the reception does not work 24/7.

the walls are not soundproof, i literally was able to hear the neighbor snoring and sneezing. the bathroom might be too small for a big guy. leaving the luggage after the check-out suddenly became an issue due to not full-day work of a receptionist (they offered to store the suitcase, but it did not match my flight schedule). i was recommended the proper locker nearby though. overall it was much more than i expected to get pricewise.

Nicest réception lady. Early check-in for free. Clean room, clean facilités. Comfy beds. Shower in the room. Very good location. Quiet. 3 minutes walk to subway. 35 minutes on subway to intercity bus station. Genious Kojima created his famous PT game after seeing these corridors.

There is no AC, so you have only one small fan which is ok. Exept that there is literally ONE electric plug in the room and you have to keep this fan turned on above your head all night. Shared bathroom. No view. Room is very small, as it is not a classic hostel, it is more like an old appartement with rooms for rent.

The bed and pillow were good for me. A bit on the firm side. More important though is the woman who checked me in, had to come back after she left, because I could not get myself back in my room. She was great and understanding. The place was also spotless and the sheets and blankets were great. Also super quiet as far as street noise went (like in zero).

It is a small room, with no view. Also f some one was in an adjacent room, you could here them. Luckily the other guests that were there were quiet.

Room was very clean and nicely furnished; had a lot character. Check in was easy, and it felt very private - rarely saw others. Room had a mini fridge and floor fan.

Wifi was weak. There was a bit of noise, both from within the building and street, but not enough to be an issue.

The location is great. Easy walkable access to almost all points of interest, city center, places to eat, and shopping. The room was cleaned every day and was really cozy. Simplified access to the building. The room is quite small and if you plan to spend some time indoors, maybe it is not the best solution but for tourists who are all day out exploring, it is a great price vs. quality solution.

The number of plugs in the room is not enough. I was able to find barely one.

Excellent location. For those who travel on budget and want a no-frill place for things they don't use, and primarily their to sight see, it is perfect. Great security.

It had everything I wanted for my two day stay, except my morning coffee. I tried booking the place for my one night stay during my return trip - not available. Wish they had kept hotwater maker, coffee, cream and sugar in the small lobby so I could get jump start to my day!

The room was very quiet. I could close the window and the blind and I enjoyed a dark night. The bed was very confortable. I slept very well the four days I stayed there. The room and the bathroom were cleaned every day. The owner is very nice and organized everything very well. The location is perfect for a visit to the old city or to take public transport to other parts of Madrid.

Only 20 minute walk from the Train Station, close to lively streets to go for dinner and there was a lovely mercadillo just around the corner. Great walking distance to many attractions such as Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. The staff were so friendly and welcoming upon arrival and checkout. The room was great, small but had everything you needed, including a shower, sink and wardrobe. A very homely vibe to this hostel, excellent place for people who want a calmer, quieter stay.

At times I could hear my neighbours as the walls are quite thin, however Madrid is a busy city and we’re bound to experience a bit of noise at times!

Window isolation a bit poor so the room was cold but the bed was comfortable and warm in exchange
