I loved my stay at Hostal Evoke, central location and super comfy rooms. The guys who work at the reception are very lovely as well, especially Jesús and Ayda. I will definitely recommend Evoke!

The apartment is conveniently situated in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Plaza Mayor and the renowned Museo Nacional del Prado. Despite the compact bathroom, the shower is ample in size, ensuring adequate comfort. The apartment is equipped with all the essential amenities, including a comfortable bed and a clean and well-maintained room.

Hostal Evoke is in a great, central location for Madrid's main sights, which can all be easily walked to. Antón Martin metro station is also only a few steps away. The building that the hostel is in, is clean with a beautiful wood staircase. All reception staff were very polite, warm and friendly. The single bedroom was clean with a small fridge, always useful to have. As the en suite bathroom is tacked onto the end of the bedroom, this means that the large window has to be entirely opaque, which took a bit of getting used to, as you can't look outside at a view. At least the window can be opened, so you can see outside then. To start with, it made the room feel a bit enclosed, but the location is what you stay at this hostel for, and it's fine for a few days. Tip: take the metro to see the views from Faro de Moncloa. The amount of greenery around one side of Madrid is staggering.

For the price, the location is great, and the staff was amazing. The first lady I talked to had a welcoming smile, easy to talk to and was ready to give recommendations in the area if asked, all the rest of the staff were lovely too. It was also nice being able to leave my luggage there with them if I needed to after check out, they let you know that you can leave it there for as long as you need. Even if it was a little small, I would definitely book this place again. It's situated near the metro and bus stops, so getting around is really easy but you're centrally located so it's to just walk around.

The first thing I didn't like was instructions on getting there weren't all clear, I wasn't aware it was situated on what's considered the 2nd floor and the other thing was that I could hear a lot of what the person in the room next to me was doing. Also, if you're a bigger person, the beds might be a little small, but they were still comfortable.

very friendly, welcoming and helpful people which is the biggest plus for me in this hostal. The location is extremely central and very close to the next metro station. the hostal has been renovated recently, it's clean and the old building very nice.

the room itself is very small. the bed not very large neither, to put it in nice words. the biggest minus is the almost non-existing isolation between the rooms. you hear everything from next door.

Had nice receptionists! All of them were nice and very helpful! It’s located at the city centre but the noise outside won’t be heard inside the room. The room was spacious! Booked a room with 2 separate beds. They were kind enough to lend us a kettle to use in our room! They come clean everyday for free and had supplies for basic shampoo, brush, razor etc The only thing is that the walls are abit thin so you can hear the other room shower or talk sometimes but luckily our next room mate weren’t too noisy. Still, its located in the middle of all the shops so id still come back!

The team was so pleasant and responsive. Small things were immediately attended to. The location is perfect and the connections to the hostal were quite convenient.

The vending machine was such a convenience, though it broke-off or malfunctioning. The host was so kind to reimburse, which I declined ☺️. The team and service were good. No complaints. One suggestion, especially for those checking-in late and with language limitations. Offer clear instructions and code to enter the premise well in advance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was super clean, and the location was perfect!!! We walked to many different attractions kindly recommended by Maria, from the front desk. I will stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family!

Everything was great, but if I have to dig for a negative, I would say that some people might find the room small.

Amazingly friendly staff! Hospitality 10/10 💪🏻 Location is very practical. Room was clean, everyday cleaning was top notch. Good bathroom and bed, all basics are what you need on an intensive cityptrip.

The only thing: soundproof not 100%, pretty easy to hear people in the corridor and the next room. But that's just a question of being unlucky with other guests (nothing the hotel can predict) ;-)

The property is modern and recently renovated, there is no street noise from the rooms so you can properly rest. The staff are there 24 hours a day which is so helpful. Idda and Anna from reception were absolutely amazing they gave me the best food and direction recommendations and were so eager to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I stayed in a one bedroom with the bathroom included and it was by far the best one best room in a hostel I have ever stayed in. There was a tv and even room cleaning included which I did not expect at all. There was also a fridge, iron and hair dryer
