The location is absolutely fantastic - you're only a few minutes walk from many of Madrid's attractions, in a lovely small street in the old city centre. Loads of bars, cafés, restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The staff at the hostel have been lovely and went out of their ways to accommodate us, plus they offer coffee and breakfast snacks for free, which was an unexpected surprise. The room is clean and modern and has everything you need (plus roll down blinds for a long sleep in or siesta). I have seen past comments of people complaining about the stairs - there is now a new elevator in the building.

There was only one detail I can think of: If your room faces the street, you'll hear people shouting and singing well into the morning hours when they come out of the bars/clubs, BUT the hostel has planned in advance and the rooms are equipped with complimentary ear plugs which perfectly do their job :) The first of our three nights I was worried my son would wake up from all that noise, but he snored right through that. I'm sure the rooms facing the courtyard might be better for you if you're a light sleeper.

The location was excellent. It was walking distance to all the major attraction in Madrid like the Castle, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Prado museum and so on. There are lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, department stores nearby. The ladies working there were so kind and helpful. They offer mini croissant's, muffins, bread, butter, youghurt, milk, coffee, tea. They have elevator and the aircon works really well but the internet connection is very slow.

The walls are very thin. We could hear the neighbours mobile phone vibrating and we could hear them snore and one time we could hear them having sex 😅. I've noticed that the hostel didn't have any fire alarm and that's too bad coz if you think about it it's a very cheap security for the guests. You never know if there will be any fire so for me they should invest in having smoke detectors in every room and in the reception area .

Starting with where the hotel is, it's right in the middle of everything, close to all the cool places. Honestly, we didn't have to use the subway or bus because we could walk everywhere. Talking about the hotel itself, it was super clean. They cleaned our rooms every day and gave us new towels regularly. It was a bit noisy though because the walls are thin, but we thought it was okay considering everything else. One thing I really liked was that in the common area, there were coffee machines and lots of tea options, plus they had cereals, croissants, milk, and small cakes. That was a nice touch!

Central local to all the tourist places but not too busy which is good. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff were friendly. So happy to have a water dispenser at the hotel plus free coffee, tea and snacks. Bed was quite big (we got the Pink room) and room was spacious facing a quiet courtyard.

Very thin walls so you could hear an entire conversation from the next room. Shower was separate from the toilet and also in a very awkward space. No privacy if sharing a room. The hotel was also quite hard to find since it didn’t have a large signage out front.

The location of the property was good, having some air conditioning was also good as it was hot at that time, having a kitchenette was beneficial and also having a little snack for for breakfast was also good. The shower room are was also good and roomy.

The decoration of the place looked as though it had been roughly completed but that did not make the stay bad at all but if better it would provide a further positive for the place. The sofa bed was not too bad but tipped when two adults were on it and better for kids to sleep on.

Room was very clean and smelling good.

The wall was dirty at the top, the paint was off from some corners and the bed sheets were a little too old. although clean.

Entry door was really hard to open, bathroom door didn’t close, no hot water for showering at night, elevator wasn’t working and we were on the 3rd floor with heavy luggage

Perfect location in the heart of old Madrid. Nice staff. Clean. Easy access. Possibility to have free of charge coffee, tea, toasts, and a few things more left in the shared fridge, very nice indeed.

Our staying was perfect, but you have to know that there is no insulation at all between rooms and common areas. You will hear other client talking in next room. So the quality of your stay and sleep will also depend on the behaviour of other clients. The thing is that you will find the same situation in any of this kind of hotel in the old Madrid.

Great location, super friendly staff, nice building. It was so nice that they have complimentary food options like cereal, milk, yoghurt ,little croissants and little muffins in case you're hungry. Coffee and water machine and a little reading hook. I stayed in the red room and loved the view of the building across. The street is quite noisy but the window has good isolation, so with simple earplugs it is possible to sleep just fine. The room was very clean.

There was nothing I disliked but if you're a person that can feel claustrophobic, notice the shower and the bathroom are quite tiny. The bed is not the most comfortable but for the price and the location, I think it was really worth it and I would stay here again :)

I really like the staff and the room. The location was also incredible. Walk 10 - 15 minutes and you will be in the best monuments and museums of Madrid. It´s also close to the metro and bus station. The hostel has an elevator working, yes! But you only will have access to it when you got your room key to open the door to access the elevator. It´s very convenient. They provide complimentary snacks and have a communal mini refrigerator for items you'd like to keep fresh. In essence, you can enjoy your breakfast there with the complimentary snacks like cupcakes, croissants, orange juice, tea, coffee, yogurt, etc. I was impressed with the room—it was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed and pillows were of excellent quality, ensuring a restful sleep. This was my third visit to Madrid, and this hostel surpassed my expectations. The value for the price is exceptional considering all that it offers. I will definitely return in the future! Thank you for everything!

The walls are not soundproof; you can hear light noise from the room next door when the light switch is on. However, we had the fortune of having quiet and considerate neighbors during our stay. The staff also encourages everyone to keep noise levels down in the common areas. The bathroom is small but functional. The hostel is situated in a converted and renovated old apartment, so the water drainage system may temporarily back up, but it's quickly resolved by a small automatic pump. It's not an issue unless you take exceptionally long showers. Please note that they do not provide shampoo samples, so it's a good idea to bring your own.
