I enjoyed the orderliness of it all. Room felt like a cabin on an overnight train. I think that is what they were going for. Felt mostly clean and cozy, if slightly sterile. Efficient with good AC and a huge window (part even opened for fresh air). Nice and quiet, which is what I needed. I liked that there was an electric kettle, coffee mug and small fridge in the room.

The carpet in the room was stained. Looked like someone spilled bleach. Also, most staff were friendly but one person was a bit standoffish- not at all welcoming. The price is good but they charge way too much for extras such as the breakfast, cup of coffee or tea in the lobby or a small bottle of prosecco, e.g. There was a tissue under the bed which cleaning staff somehow missed.

Close to the main station. The room was modern and clean. Free transport card they provided was useful.

1) I was expecting breakfast with panoramic view from the top floor but actually I couldn't enjoy the view enough because the windows were too foggy. It got a little bit better after sprinkler worked automatically, but still not very beautiful, the water drops looked like a lot of stain. Maybe this matters only in chilly morning. 2) When I was at the reception for check in, I was watching the staffs at the reception providing other guests before me the transport card and explaning how can use it, but they didn't mention anything to me. Later I checked that the transport card was complimentary for all guests, I went back to the front and asked about it, then could get the card without any explanation. I understand it might be a simple mistake, but felt like unprofessional.

The hotel is really conveniently located, in a nice neighbourhood next to the train station. You also get free metro travel cards which allow you to travel into central Lausanne for free. The metro is a two minute walk from the hotel entrance. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The staff really go above and beyond. Especially the man that was working the night we stayed. There are nice bakeries, and restaurants nearby.

The room design is a bit strange if you are not staying with a partner. The shower is partially see through with a big wooden door across. You have to strategically move the door to have full privacy. The room was a little bit cold when we entered. If you want to be in bars and restaurants until the early morning this may not be the best location.

The dining area was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the breakfast – it was diverse, everything was delicious, and the food was quickly restocked. A special mention to the blonde-haired lady working in the kitchen, who was always ready to help. The extended breakfast hours on weekends and holidays until 11 a.m. were a big plus. The location is also very convenient, with a metro station and a supermarket nearby.

the carpet was dirty and stained, and there was no liquid soap near the sink – it’s been ages since I had to use bar soap to wash my hands. Also, the proximity of the toilet to the bed and the high level of sound transmission weren’t very comfortable.

Modern hotel with fully furnished chambers. My room was a bit small but definitely not cramped. Loved the presence and capacity of the airconditioning providing a nice cool room. The location is really nice, right next to the subway (a pass is provided by the hotel) and Lausanne station. It is also in a nice lively upscale part of town. Great view from the breakfast room.

The staff at the reception was not very welcoming or friendly (the restaurant and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful though). The hotel is clearly used for group stopovers so there are regularly buses and large groups at the reception/breakfast room. The fridge at my room was not cooling very well.

The location is incredibly convenient-just a short walk from the main train station, which made my arrival and departure very smooth. Also, it's located just two metro stops away from the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

My stay at the hotel was lovely, though I felt the breakfast could use some improvements. While the basics were available, the selection was somewhat limited, and it would be nice to see a wider variety of fresh options such as more fruits and hot dishes. The quality of what was offered was good, though. And the view from the restaurant is just amazing.

The Hotel is simply awesome. Ultra Modern in the heart of Lausanne. The room was completely updated, a great shower, great bathroom and very comfortable bed. Even the supplied toiletries were of high quality - luxury spa grade and didn't have any of that "Made In China" chemical scent. Staff were versant in multiple languages and not offput by speaking in English. The city of Lausanne is built up the side of a mountain with Lake Geneve at the bottom. There is a Tram / Metro that runs through the center from the bottom at the lake to the final stop up top. The Hotel itself is situated in beautiful quiet neighborhood with a few cafes right next to the third or fourth stop up from the lake, literally a few steps away from the Metro. It's perfect. The room came with full 24 hour access to the metro for both my wife and I and we used to to go sightseeing, to get off at the old town for dinner and to explore around the lake. The the hotel is perfect!

Any negative has to do with cost of Sitzerland and nothing to do with this hotel. It's Hight Value. I really cant find anything I didn't like about this hotel

The hotel is very near the Lausanne main train station and the metro, so it's really easy to get around. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good. The front desk is manned 24/7 with friendly and helpful staff.

The bathroom in our room was really poorly designed, seemingly by a "designer" run amuck. It was a flashy glass-walled room with incredibly bright lights that shine through the walls and light up the entire hotel room, and a single switch that turns on those lights AND the entry lights in the room, which makes it impossible to use the bathroom at night without literally blinding your partner. Oh, and it had no hooks or shelves for anything you'd want to take into the shower, and the shower curtains were really short, too.

The hotel is just a 5 mins walk away from the Lausanne main train station. There are several bakeries and restaurants nearby. The male receptionist who served us (we didn't catch his name. All we know is that he's French. Pls let us know his name) was an absolute delight! He was warm and friendly and willing to help us.

The bathroom light switches are not separate from the rest of the room, and we didn't expect the glass windows between the toilet/shower room and the sleeping area. That room might be for couples, but we weren't.

Chose this hotel bc it is super convenient from the main station - 3 mins to the hbf. Also it turned out it is also just 1 min to the metro line. From there can go up to the old town or down to Ouchy This Fassbind hotel mini-chain has a few branches in the city each with a cool decor. The rooms are very well equipped Free coffee is provided in the lobby The breakfast is above avg, fairly extensive choice, tho we felt it is quite pricey at 22F. We had better for less elsewhere. The breakfast restaurant though is in a glass "sky dome" on the top floor with a great view of the lake. Shame they don't open this beyond breakfast, for example, afternoon snacks and/or a bar. The main sites to visit here are the lake itself and Chillon. We rode the train from Lausanne to Montreux, and on to Chillon. Then took a great boat ride from Chillon arounnd the lake and back to Montreux. IMO, the towns of L and M are not particularly special or worth allocating much time for.
