Excellent hotel, extremely attentive and kind staff (particular compliments to the receptionist Nicola), good inhouse restaurant, comfortable rooms with great beds and lots of small comforts. Very clean and tidy. Nearby spa included in the reservation is a must visit (it even has awesome water slides!).

Space inside the shower box is limited with only a curtain for separation from the rest of the bathroom which results in water spilling onto the floor. Not that good for people who don't like bathtubs. Pricey restaurant.

Hotel Wow what can I say other than this hotel was amazing! I normally try to budget hotels when we travel, but in Switzerland everything is exspensive. We decided to stay at Hotel San Gian which we didn’t know much about other than it was a 4 star hotel, had access to a pool and fitness room and allowed our 80 lb dog to stay. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that with our stay, we received gondola passes for all days there and pool/spa/fitness passes for all days as well. The pools (4 of them) and spa are absolutely magnificent and cost millions to build. A pure treat! I learned from the staff at the pool that only about 3 hotels in that area include this. Our stay was made warm by Paul who works the front desk. He was so friendly and helpful. We also loved the restaurant staff such as Nanja and Mirko. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to that area. For the included breakfast which was of great quality, pool/spa passes, gondola passes, and hospitality, the price was well worth our stay.

This was absolutely exceptional stay! Our room was cozy. Incredibly helpful, kind and willing staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Great food for breakfast and as well for dinner. Our room was always clean and it was really relaxing place to stay. We had to admit that we are so overwhelmed by all the extra things the hotel offers - full access to OVAVERA, transport tickets (including cable cars) or lunch boxes for hikes! When we came, Paul welcomed us so nicely (we are traveling pretty often and have never experienced so warm and helpful introduction) and booked for us a table at the restaurant right away. Also he explained us what to do around. All other receptionist were also incredibly helpful. We even prolonged our stay at the hotel because we felt like home and stunned by the city and surrounding. This was our first trip to St. Moritz and definitely not the last - we are already planning our next trip.

The location is great ~ as there is a bus stop in 2 minutes walk ~ if you stay 2 nights or more the hotel will provided transport card for the same number of the nights you stay~ but if it can cover all days you stay here like Scoul (including check in day and check out day) it will be more convenient ~ The staffs are helpful ~ they updated our room to superiors and recommend suitable hiking routes for us ~the room is quite and has really good views~St. Moritz is really a great place to stay more than 3 nights~ the highlight of the hotel is the cooperation with ovv spa and fitness center~ it’s amazing and relaxing after one day walk ~

Almost nothing ~ if the public transport can cover all calendar days we stay is more convenient ~ and the restaurants may not very suitable for Asian stomach ~ but the breakfast is good!

Location is great. Hotel is close to lifts, transport and great SPA centre which is free for hotel guests.

There was not enough staff. We waited to check in for 40 min. Also most of the staff didn't understand English well and this lead to many miss-understandings.

Very friendly staff, who were happy to speak to you in your mother tongue if they spoke it. Very spacious bedroom, including a private bathroom equipped with a bathtub, a shower, and 2 washbasins. Very good continental breakfast, including freshly baked bread and an available breakfast menu to order from. Free access to the nearby Ovaverva spa and sports center, which is a suberb offer to the hotel's guests and truly improves value for price. As a summary, both the hotel and its staff deserve each of the hotel's 4 stars!

A bit far from the train station: either a short bus ride or a 30-min walk are required. The journey will however pass near the beautiful Lake St. Moritz (St. Moritzersee / Lej da San Murezzan), and its location makes the hotel a good starting point for hikes towards the lakes southwest of the city.

Customer service was excellent. They were friendly and always polite. The cleaning attendants who made my room went the extra mile by folding my clothing neatly even though it was not requested. I was very impressed. The room aesthetics was great, pillows were great too. Breakfast buffet was alright. They offered hot items (such as crepes and eggs of your choice) cooked on demand.

Design of the shower area was not up to standard. Despite having a shower curtain, water from the shower head often got out of the shower area and this made the entire toilet floor wet. This is a design flaw.

I wanted to get fit after sedentary life during covid & found the walking trails safe & easy to town 25 mins away - The lifts were within walking distance 6 mins & Swimming pool gym 4 mins of Hotel San Gian & buses 3 mins

If you looking for the pubs ,party scene, dancing ,drinking and night clubs then is not for you -but it absolutely suited my mission to get fit & eat good healthy yet interesting foods

The breakfast was the best we had on our trip. The staff were superbly friendly

The shower stall was VERY slippery, and I nearly took a bad fall. I STRONGLY urge that you install a nonslip surface in the shower stalls. We also ran out of toilet paper on the last day; I know we could have asked for more, but we were able to get by. But it was a little concerning not to find an extra roll. Also, the tissue box was low when we got there, with no refill avaialble. Again, we know we could have asked, but it would have been nice just to have a backup supply ready.

I’ve just had a wonderful 2 night ‘girls trip’ with my 13 year old daughter! The staff were really friendly, kind and helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. My daughter persuaded me to have a massage and it was AMAZING! Paul gave me the best full body deep massage I’ve ever had-just the right pressure to release tension, without being painful and he asked exactly where I would like him to focus. His massage experience was clear, and he gave me some tips for releasing tension at home. Paul even turned on the sauna/steam room afterwards so I could relax in the wonderful spa area. I would highly recommend a massage while you’re here after a day of hiking! Thank you so much Paul! We took the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St Moritz and arrived at 17:30 the first night. We were so happy to be able to use the wonderful pool complex opposite (open until 22:00!) with gorgeous warm, open air pools, lane swimming/diving and we had so much fun on the watersides together! We also really appreciated the free cable car passes and free transport into St Moritz as we stayed 2 nights. You can either walk 20 mins along the lake into St Moritz town or hop on the bus and be there in 7 mins! The breakfast buffet was delicious and you also have a choice of freshly cooked eggs (fried, Omelettes, crepes..) and a full buffet which we loved!
