the large size room. the feel of it being a grand country estate. the surrounding grounds are lovely.

our room wasn’t properly prepared. a double bed was provided instead of two singles. (quickly remedied). the bar man was quite surly as though it was too much effort to provide my drink. a nauseating fuel smell permeated the dining room in the morning making it very unpleasant to be in that space and enjoy the very nice breakfast.

Big rooms, clean, great food, Brenda the massage lady is great, pool is poor, steam room etc good. Great grounds for walking and family's with young kids have games room and outdoor area next to beer garden.

Price of drinks is outrageous. Also watch if you're staying half board the dinner is only to the value of £25pp and most main courses are ib the £16 to £30pp so you'll end up with further charges.

Self catering lodges were great Pool and gym were great

No fresh towels during 3 night stay. Hotel contact me twice beforehand to offer/confirm stair gates but no stair gates in lodge when we arrived. Travel cot didn’t have a mattress Key card timed out before check out time which made for a very stressful 25 minutes while juggling three small children and running up and down to reception and trying to get the car packed up. Some basic provisions in lodge in our arrival which was nice but would’ve been nice to have some basic cleaning products (eg spray for cleaning table etc)

Our visit was a 5* all the way. Everything was on point or beyond, right down to bedding, cutlery. Everyone including visitor were so friendly. We didn’t feel uncomfortable being from a very modest background even at the pool, steam and sauna we was made very welcome. Only niggle maybe was the food there wasn’t a lot of veg or hala option but we made a 8 min car journey which wasn’t an issue (have added a pic would anyone want to know, excellent food and it was halal). There was something to do for everyone, bouncy castle, walks of the grounds, swimming and a games room. so over all me and my family loved it and would most certainly make the 4hr car journey again.

Wasn’t enough veg/halal options on the menu but there was places/ take away not to far to go eat or bring back, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

I booked a 2 bedroom for me and my daughter. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom, a pleasant surprise as we needed it. The spacious living room kitchen with everything you need to make a meal, 2 bath tubs, comfy beds. The list is endless. We have decided to invite friends someday and enjoy the place. Dinner was amazing, desert to die for. I loved everything about the hotel. It could do with later check out as 10am felt a bit rushing. I guess I was reluctant to leave lol. Highly recommend!

Later check in and early 10 am check out😊

A super hotel amidst the scenic Perthshire countryside. From the moment I arrived I felt relaxed. Check in was very simple and my room was large, spotlessly clean, well equipped and really comfortable. The leisure centre with pool, sauna, steam room and jaccuzi was also really clean and well maintained. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful and clearly well groomed. Dinner was very good with a varied selection whilst breakfast was superb. This hotel is one of the loveliest I have experienced and I would recommend it to anyone.

I like the area, the room was comfy and big and the lights round the pond at night and the quietness. dinner was outstanding

I don’t know if the staff are trained in a way that they speak if you speak to them, breakfast time as first time there didn’t explain that you help yourself to the toast etc and had to ask in 5 different occasions for things missing, no glasses left for juice, no milk for tea, no butter for toast, never asked if we would like condiments for fry up which I did, no tongs for sugar cubes. the main thing they should do is ask if you’ve had breakfast with us before and if you say no ! please explain your set up, the things missing where little and sorted out when I asked for them.

The leisure centre is great. The grounds for the whole site are beautiful. The games room is a good idea for the kids but could use a few more things in it. The lodge was spacious. Location is excellent. Staff very friendly on the whole.

Not much. We found the pillows on the beds too hard but it's pesonal preference i guess. We have stayed here six or seven times over the last 15 years and we'll still be back again. The overall feel of the properties for us this time was that a couple of the rooms could do with a makeover - bathroom and living room flooring.

The room was what I expected. Plenty of room with good bath and shower facilities.

The food was in some instances disgusting. The cooked breakfast with bacon links black pudding and scrambled eggs were a good bid below average. The scrambled eggs were disgusting watery and mushy, the bacon hard , the black pudding if that’s what you call it was like a congealed paste. I never had it again. The menu for the evening dinner wasn’t much better. As you will know there were only four choices I mean four choices and out out of those choices you could only pick two to keep within your £25 allowance. I paid a lot of money for my short stay but I don’t mind that ,but to sit down and try enjoy the food presented was like a bridge too far. In my opinion as having worked in hotel catering the food was really bad and it was also served in a pasta dish plate.

Booked in last minute, and ended up with an upgrade. Always a bonus!! Beautiful fluffy white robes and slippers, Top products in bathroom. I love Elemis. Everything beautifully presented in the room. We didn't do breakfast, so can't comment on that. We had a room close to reception, but heard next to no noise. Definitely worth a return visit

Bathroom products are great quality, therefore coffee needs upgraded from Nescafé sachets. They're not good. A small Kilner jar of a decent coffee would be better. At least can be washed out and refreshed with each stay. That was my only fault, but wasn't really an issue.
