This is my second time at Wyndham Duchally My family and I went and we enjoyed and loved every day we spent at the cottage The reception staff dealt with us from the first day. They were friendly and understanding

Every thing was berfect till the last day, One day before our leaving date, my father went to talk to one of the reception staff about delaying our departure for only one hour. The employee agreed to his request and put a note on the reception desk, but we were surprised the next day by the cleaning lady hitting the door forcefully before 10 am and speaking to us in a rude and racist manner, and she did not respect our privacy. She did not respect us and we told her that we had already notified one of your employees that we would leave at 11 o’clock, but she continued to speak in a rude manner, and did not even make us finish our breakfast, which we had already cooked and that we wanted to eat before leaving at 11 o’clock.

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Duchally Country Estate and had an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the Scottish countryside. The comfortable bed and serene atmosphere provided the perfect setting for a restful getaway. I especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the on-site restaurant, which served delicious, locally-sourced dishes. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, ensuring a perfect start to each day. The estate's location is perfect for exploring the natural beauty of Scotland. The peaceful walking trails on the grounds and nearby outdoor activities like hiking and golfing made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Wyndham Duchally Country Estate exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic destination for anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in a picturesque setting. I look forward to returning soon!

the large size room. the feel of it being a grand country estate. the surrounding grounds are lovely.

our room wasn’t properly prepared. a double bed was provided instead of two singles. (quickly remedied). the bar man was quite surly as though it was too much effort to provide my drink. a nauseating fuel smell permeated the dining room in the morning making it very unpleasant to be in that space and enjoy the very nice breakfast.

Big rooms, clean, great food, Brenda the massage lady is great, pool is poor, steam room etc good. Great grounds for walking and family's with young kids have games room and outdoor area next to beer garden.

Price of drinks is outrageous. Also watch if you're staying half board the dinner is only to the value of £25pp and most main courses are ib the £16 to £30pp so you'll end up with further charges.

The hotel is very private and away from any main roads. Set in beautiful grounds that are exceptionally well maintained and to have a wander in. The spa, although I didn't use it, looks good, as does the gym. The lodges looked very well maintained also. We stayed in the hotel our room was beautiful and very large, as was the bathroom, all Elemis products, which were lovely. We also had a balcony which was really spacious and I had my morning coffee sitting out on it, watching some red Squirrels running around the gardens. Staff were really friendly and helpful as I'd forgot my hair tie and they managed to source one for me, in the very late evening. All in all a wonderful stay, and I'd like to think I'll will have the chance to be back

There's nothing I didn't like. A much bigger bath would have been great, but the one in bathroom was adequate, with a rainfall shower. I just like big baths.

Accommodation was plentiful and offered everything to a very good standard. It would be nice to view and choose the location of villas available a booking. I'd have preferred a first-floor balcony and with a different view too.

The layout, seating and general feel of the whisky bar/restaurant area was not as endearing as I felt it would be. With the view and opportunity in such a space, I believe decoration and interior design would bring this to life. Equally. while quite pleasant, I feel an expert in interior design would transform this and really make a wow statement for the hotel. The games room is a big letdown. It looks and feels like it has been thrown together with little real care to the audience - come on, you can do much better here.

Lovely estate. We only spend one night so we didn't get a chance to use all of the facilities. Chalet is a good size and works well for family in need for space. We had a great meal at their restaurant and the service was friendly and professional (it was the best service we had from all the establishments we visited). Nice spa facilities with sauna and indoor pool. It was lovely to enjoy after a day's travelling.

Some of the facilities are a bit dated and will probably need a facelift at some point. The only negative was that the changing rooms of the swimming pool were not clean. Now, you could argue it was down to the people using them, but they probably need to be maintained on a more regular basis.

I cannot recommend this place enough! This hotel has exceptional facilities included in your stay, gorgeous spacious rooms and the staff were all lovely. It felt like such a treat staying here and compared to other resorts in the area, incredibly good value. We stayed in the main hotel, used the pool and spa facilities and ate at the restaurant, all of which were top notch. The grounds of the estate are lovely and there are also a number of cabins/larger lodges that you can book. Also a great mix of couples, families and groups staying here.

The food was fine - my wife and I had dinner on the first night in the restaurant, and then with our family (8 adults; 4 children) we had dinner as a group in the Whiskey Bar one night and the restaurant on the second night. On both occasions the food was fine - no complaints and the staff were very competent to deal with a melee of adults and toddlers! We ate breakfast in our respective lodges. The lodges were very good - roomy, well equipped etc. etc. - could not really fault them in any way at all.

I had a few 'communication' issues over the phone, when organising the event (it was my wife's 65th birthday) but they did not in any way spoil the weekend that we had. There were also some minor maintenance items in all the lodges (no big deal - eg, loose toilet roll holders, warning stickers coming off the wall, safe wasn't working when we first arrived)

Lovely location, just south of Gleneagles. As a family group of 6 adults and 1 child, we stayed in the 3-bedroomed lodge 209, each with their own en-suite bathroom. The lodge itself was well appointed with all the comforts you would expect of a 4 star establishment. We had cause to make use of the pull-out sofa bed, which was more than comfortable for our 10 year old niece. The bar and restaurant in the main hotel cater well for requirements. Being so close to Gleneagles it would be tempting for Wyndham to rip the proverbial out of their customers. This doesn't happen. Drinks and food are priced at an expected level, with no real gasps as you read the menu. N.B. - NOT TO BE MISSED. The fish and chips or "Battered Haddock"as it probably says on the menu is excellent. I would go as far as to say that the fish is probably the best I've had in a traditional British fish supper, bar none. Even beats the Anstruther chippie, for those of you who know what I'm talking about. Well done to the chef.

We wanted to use, the leisure facilities, pool steam room, sauna etc but 1 of our party lacked shorts/swimming costume. When asked if we could buy them, the receptionist rather sheepishly said yes, £28. I think that Wyndham should investigate cheaper alternatives for around half the price, which would still allow a profit as this is surely a common occurrence.... the proverbial is being ripped in these circumstances.
