This Hotel is great value for money, set inside the beautiful grounds of Stirling University. Free Parking. Great Full Cooked Breakfast or Continental Breakfast options. Very friendly staff. I’d happily stay here again.

It’s not a dislike as such, just a comment that the rooms are quite dated decor /furniture wise & small TV. However, perfectly clean & functional. Note I believe that the Hotel is owned by the university & not a ‘hotel chain’. Any profits made by the hotel after running costs goes to the university. So I appreciate it’s not anything like a city centre boutique hotel.

We stopped off for one night on our way up to The Highlands. The room with breakfast was very good value for money, and the grounds were lovely for a walk round. The view of The Wallace Monument from the terrace at night was stunning. Nice toiletries where provided in the bathroom.

Could have done with a little more information regarding the grounds and area. There was no water provided in the room. We also had an issue with our dinner bill (someone else’s drinks had been added to it) got it sorted eventually after breakfast. Hotel was pet friendly, which is fine, although on morning of departure one dog wasn’t on a lead and ran across the reception area towards another family’s dog, not.

The breakfast was brilliant, haggis was delicious. We ate there two mornings & both food & staff serving were perfect. We slept late the other two mornings so we're too late to eat.

This was our third stay & we recommended it to our friends. Our friends liked the facility but felt the tops of bedroom furniture looked a bit tired plus the Hotel information was accessed by scanning a code. On holiday we just wanted the details in plain sight! The furniture tops just need a resurfacing & a print out of facilities. But we would still return. We ate in Restaurant one evening & all enjoyed delicious food.

The campus is outstanding, the scenery breathtakingly beautiful. The Hotel very comfortable, warm and cosy. Easy access to surrounding area. Staff very helpful and the food outstanding. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stirling Court Hotel to family and friends and indeed have already done so!

The fact that we were given a room that was clearly not ready for our stay with rubbish and half eaten food not taken away. BUT can't stress enough that was rectified as soon as we complained. Staff came and helped us move to another room. Electrics need to be checked as lose plug sockets were problematic and again this was rectified. Good value for money however the bedrooms need a little TLC.

Nice hotel that is situated inside the University campus. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Check in was poor, even after filling out a pre check in online I was required again to give further information, why was this not on the pre check in? We were given a room at the far end of the hotel, and it is a large hotel and there are no lifts so you have to haul your luggage up stairs and a long way. Fine if you are an overnighter visiting the Uni but not great when you are travelling. The wi-fi is poor (which we have found in nearly every hotel in the UK) and the room doors slam, so all night and in the morning all you hear are slamming doors.

The room was on the small side, but fine for one night´s stay. Nothing luxurious, but we had everything we needed. The cooked breakfast was DELICIOUS! They even had haggis. However - they´re probably understaffed in the kitchen because there were issues with refilling the food. The lady in the reception was really nice and friendly (contrary to the sad and tired overworked breakfast staff). The location was convenient for a walk to the Wallace Monument, or to a superb old Logie graveyard. Close to the beautiful woods too. A bit far from the centre of Stirling, so if you travel by public transport, get ready to pay for bus tickets. Surprisingly, Scottish Citylink was cheaper to get to Stirling than some local bus. BTW, there´s a direct Scottish Citylink bus (909) that goes to Stirling University from Edinburgh, via Edinburgh airport.

They should employ more breakfast staff because they are clearly understaffed. They were not able to refill food items on time, guests had to ask many times and wait for a long time for example for fruit (we waited 25 minutes) or clean glasses. The employee serving hot food was working like a slave, continuously running to the kitchen for the missing hot food items, plus serving food to guests and doing other things. I don´t know how many people were working in the kitchen, but surely not enough to be able to cut more fruit or deliver fresh pastries when everything had finished. However, as far as the quality of cooked items was concerned, it was THE BEST breakfast we ate during our 8 days in Scotland.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel for two nights and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's breakfast buffet, which offered a wide selection of hot and cold items. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. The staff was attentive and the facilities were top-notch. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was excellent. The best we’ve had so far. Room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is in a very central location for all ages - shopping sport, leisurely walks safari park and beautiful local areas.

We didn’t realise that housekeeping wasn’t daily . The blurb said it was daily housekeeping but we stayed there three days and no housekeeping. On leaving the receptionist said that housekeeping is only done every 3 days but if we need something we’ve got to ask at the reception. We didn’t know that .

The hotel is in front of the university’s bus hub! You can walk straight to the student union and meet your friends. It is only 2 stories, rooms are easy to find , you can store your luggage downstairs before check in and after check out for free. Restaurant is convenient for breakfast, lunch and dinner , as well as room service. Staff are pleasant and helpful!

I only have a carry on which was easy to bring 2 short flight of stairs. If you have a heavy full size luggage, you might need to stay in the first floor.
