Overall stay was amazing and very special. Treatments at spa were outstanding. Views of Loch Lomond speak for themselves. Breakfast for coeliac was best we’ve ever had. Features of hotel very good including spectacular bar area. Main hotel staff were generally brilliant.

Hate to mark down but for a 5 star hotel there are a few important details that would help it improve: Spa changing facilities a bit dated and lockers all malfunctioning. We had issues with online booking system. Had to call everyone. Car parks are riddled with potholes and very muddy to walk through. Limited parking. Needs substantial improvements to outside lighting at night. Can’t walk anywhere without a torch as it’s pitch black. For the money it would be nice to have some more included with rooms. No refreshments. Beds were amazing but bedding were very basic and pillows were far too soft Service and food quality was average in La Vista restaurant but pricey for what you got. £15 for a drink at the bar is very off putting.

Beautiful location. The breakfast was fantastic.

We arrived very late at night so the Receptionist didn’t want to keep us from our beds any longer which we appreciated! I would have appreciated a follow up with regards to locations and what’s on offfer inside the hotel. Also I don’t think we should have had to pay extra for a la carte items from the menu at breakfast… Our room (with 2 bunk beds) was too small for the 3 of us, the hotel were very accommodating in helping us find a better room, David was very helpful in this matter, although the room had some maintenance issues it was so much more comfortable for the 3 of us.

The hotel was comfortable and quiet.food was excellent..room was nice and warm .staff were lovely and helpful.Valet service was also good.

Phoned reception a couple of times for extra water.and had to phone again after a couple of hours as the water hadn't arrived.Thermal and hydro spa experience we had booked as a treat was definitely a bit run down..loads of rust on grill vents ..flaky plaster and paint...main swimming pool also flaky plaster and paint not a nice look..our hot stones and pedicure well worth the wait ..leanne was a lovely girl and extremely helpful.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very pleasant and efficient Evening dining is very expensive and would have liked cheaper dining option as on my own so decided to not eat at all. Bar staff were very pleasant and efficient.

My room had very masculine decor. I'm not a particularly girly lady but I did feel it was a man's room. There is only so much a bed and breakfast is worth for the night regardless of the quality. I would make the hotel more accessible to a wider customer base at a more reasonable rate.

The hotel offered an unforgettable experience, blending luxurious Scottish charm with breathtaking natural beauty. Situated on Loch Lomond’s shores, the hotel’s elegance and surrounding landscape set the perfect stage for a memorable stay. Our room combined comfort and sophistication, featuring large windows with stunning views of the loch—a serene scene that made our morning special. Dining was also exceptional, with each restaurant serving delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes and the staff providing warm, attentive service. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful walks around Loch Lomond and nearby trails. Each path revealed another layer of Scotland’s scenic beauty, immersing us fully in the area’s natural wonders. Overall, Cameron House is a perfect retreat for those seeking luxury and nature. We left with cherished memories and look forward to returning.

Stunning property, super fancy. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby relaxing, it’s beautifully decorated, plays nice music. Loved the men in kilts helping with the bags and valet service for the car, and gave us a lift over to the La Vista restaurant when it was raining. Best ragu parpadelle pasta I’ve ever had at La Vista. Food was amazing in all restaurants. Loved the library filled with very old books that we can read.

The pool was a big disappointment, based on how it looks on the website i was really looking forward to using it, but when we were there it stunk to high heaven of chlorine and was totally full of parents and children. you could even smell the chlorine in the hallway and at the entrance to the Cameron Grill restaurant which was off-putting. I was also a bit disappointed that the day spa was off-site, and that you have to get a shuttle there. I didn’t end up going because of this.

There was a lot of do. The spa at the golf club was lovely, we could walk to Loch Lomond Shoes, and a good selection of bars and restaurants in and around the hotel

The main pool was closed and we had to pay to use the spa facilities along the road. Breakfast was a little unorganised and we had to wait for hot food. We also had to make our own toast and they forgot about our tea order. The table wasn’t set and the condiments were used and not replaced. The main bar, they did not provide table service when there was enough staff. We had to wait at the bar for our drinks and take them to our table. I’ve stayed in a few 5 star resorts in Scotland and it is always the attention to detail that makes me return again.

This beautiful hotel was in the area we wanted to visit in Scotland. Staff went above and beyond, especially Eddie, the manager. We had a few issues with our original room which Eddie, rectified immediately and made our stay truly perfect. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the spa which is £39 for hotel guests for a two hour thermal journey.

Well it is incredibly pricey but you get what you pay for and the location on top of that. Breakfast is buffet, which some may love and some may not. I don’t mind it but I did find that all the foods were scattered all over the place so it looked a bit chaotic at breakfast time.

Location. Tamburrini and Wishart restaurant deserves at least one Michelin star if not two. We ate there twice and found it to be the best thing about the hotel. It completely stands out against all other restaurants (not impressed to terrible).

Size: We found the hotel too big. Its not for people who like a bit of charm. It’s vast and dark. Room: Ground level room was lake-facing but far too dark all day. Window not big enough. Dark wallpaper was beautiful but not suitable for a room that gets no light. No privacy as hotel paths crossed in front of bedroom window. Not worth £500 per night. Room cleaning was inconsistent based on a 6-night stay. Night table was not cleaned. Spa: Not on site!!! That’s terrible considering the size and space of the hotel. Decided not to use the spa.

The breakfast was excellent, the location is fantastic and the rooms were, for the most part, very comfortable. The service staff was very good at responding to requests quickly.

We wanted to confirm various meal reservations when we checked in, but it took a very long time. In the end we were assured that we had a booked a shuttle to the Clubhouse, but at the time it turned out that this had not been done. The foam pillows we had the first night were very uncomfortable, but they were changed to feather pillows for the second night,
