Beautiful little cottage, which was a short walk from all local attractions in Balloch. The cottage itself had everything you needed for a short break, and Cathy, who was a friendly lady, was only a phone call away should you need anything. If you are visiting Balloch, the two hour island cruise is a must do. The Queen of the Loch and The Tullie Inn are great places to eat and are reasonably priced.

The only thing I didn't like was coming home. It's a lovely, sleepy little village with lots of character.

Convenient location. Walking distance to various eating places. While the bathroom is on the small side, it has got everything. The shower is very powerful - nice, hot shower.

Bathroom door a bit tight - difficult to open. It's not the owner's fault but we had the unfortunate experience where the guests staying at the cottage in the same compound were extremely noisy at night. They were having a party until almost 3/4am in the morning. Our room window was facing the car park so we couldn't sleep the whole night.

Very clean, freshly decorated, good communication from the owner, off road parking (if you are early enough). Enough tea and coffee supplies for a week! I thought the option of water in plastic bottles for those who don’t trust tap water, or tap water in a sealed bottle for those not wanting to contribute to plastic pollution was very thoughtful.

As a very light sleeper it’s beside a fairly busy road. However, not very much traffic through the night.

i absolutely loved the hot tub which was just what I was looking for.

only two small things I brought some dvd’s with me unluckily there was no dvd player but there was Netflix on the TV which was a brilliant alternative and when you are outside in the hot tub the outside light doesn’t stay on for very long if there was some sort of switch to keep it on whilst outside that would be brilliant other than that everything was fantastic and i will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Fabulous getaway! A very cosy and warm cottage equipped with everything you need! Hot tub was fabulous, bed was comfortable, car parking right very convenient, TV with Netflix and kitchen were great! Owner was also very friendly and even let us check out later on New Year’s Day! Overall would highly recommend, worth every penny!

The cold tap in the bathroom sometimes turned on itself and was running heavily in the early hours of the morning - but this is something that can be easily fixed!

It was in the right location for our visit to Balloch The room was clean. The bed was quite comfy. The tea/coffee etc was good.

We couldn’t get in at first. The email giving access information didn’t arrive until 2 hours before we arrived and we had a bit of difficulty realising that there were access instructions. Once we were in, it was fine. The shower room was very small.

Cathy, the owner of the guest house is so nice. I arrived late than the expected time, but Cathy was around and opened the door for me, and showed me around the room. The location is very convenient, around a 10-minute walk from the train station. A bus stop is just outside the property, which made my day trip to Luss really easy. The room is not big but cosy and with everything needed for a short stay. It was perfect for me as a single traveller.

The bed was perhaps a bit too soft for me. However, it was definitely not uncomfortable. I stayed in a room facing the main street and light sleepers might find it a bit noisy early in the morning.

I stayed here with a friend for one night, as we were going to a wedding nearby. The location was great, right at the start of Balloch off the A82 and the parking was very handy. The early check-in times meant we could put our bags into the room and host Cathy was very friendly! The room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Balloch/Loch Lomond.

Plain and simple room. Very clean, Generous supply of teabags, milk, water, etc. Liked the refillable tap water bottle. There was bottled water too. Free parking. Easy walk into Balloch where there was lots of choice for places to eat and drink. Friendly owner who does not live on the premises. Comfortable bed. I don't need dark to sleep, but if you are the sort of person who needs blackout blinds, this would not suit you as the curtains did not keep out the light. Dog free which was excellent

I was expecting breakfast even if I had to pay extra. The website suggested that a cooked breakfast was available. I had difficulty gaining access as there seemed to be a problem with the Ring doorbell. Another guest had this issue too. A bit disconcerting if you arrive before 7pm and can't get it.
