Games bar with lots of different game types, decent bar with plenty of options and check in screens for quicker check in which should speed up process.

Screen didn’t provide a room key, a very small room for the price, out of the way so struggled to get a taxi from Bedford and back. Queued to check in and the other lady didn’t step in to help the lady checking in others in front of us despite a queue growing. Stepped in after the queue had mostly dissipated thanks to most of us checking in on the screen and just needing to collect a key. Was told there was nowhere to get a drink and had to wait until the bar was open - the bar was already open.

The room was comfortable, as were the beds. The food available in the bar area, the rest being closed, was very good and the staff exceedingly helpful. When I mentioned to your female receptionist that I could not charge my watch close to the bed, she was able to find an extension lead, and was generally helpful and friendly.some though

Some thought might be addressed to the electrical supply close to the beds. With more people using watches that require recharging but are also used as bedside timepieces, although extension leads might be available, this is not an ideal solution. Also, whilst attempting to check in, one of the two machines repeatedly failed to connect with its host, resulting in congestion and frustration from several of the guests attempting to check in. The signage was less than easily legible. Several guests had difficulty in locating the bedrooms as the sign was not easily seen nor read.

The hotel overall was up to expectation.

We were advised that we had to book the evening meal but were not advised that we had to book breakfast. Because of this we went without. It seems whoever cooks the breakfast will only cook for those who booked. The cook was in the kitchen I assume preparing for the booked lunches but couldn’t find time to do 3 breakfasts. We were told that breakfasts are cooked in advance and if that is the case, it was better we had none. Previously cooked and reheated breakfasts are not on my bucket list

No ventilation in the communal areas, we opened windows & went out. Take into account we was on the upper level & there was locks on the windows for safety reasons upon returning the windows had all been closed. Covid is still present & as much as we need to get on with life some procedures need to be followed. Also the drench shower didn’t drench me, at 5ft the flow of water wasn’t adequate to even rinse the shower gel off let alone rinse shampoo from your hair or eyes.

Had carvery dinner on the second night - good meal & very good value. Had a complimentary breakfast on second morning because the size of the bed was smaller than I had been told on the phone. Very good breakfast.

We were told the bed was a Super Kingsize & it was a standard double! We had been told by email before we arrived that we were staying in the Willow & not the Woodland event centre. Not easy to find the Willow Event Centre - it would help if it had a different post code for Sat Navs.

Staff excellent. Helpful, friendly and considerate. Great welcome on check in, quick response to minor issues, and easy check out. Stayed at all 3 hotels on site in the past and the staff always are always consistent. We Love going back.

We had a disabled room on this visit with no walk in shower, not sure why as not requested, minor issue that didn't ruin the stay.

Great facility with very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent good size room.

Poor Wifi in the room. Restaurant was good but expensive. Alcohol excessively expensive.

We were able to change, easily, the initial room to a quieter one.

The initial room was unacceptable due to traffic noise. The second room had not been cleaned thoroughly as we saw, immediately, a long, fried chip on tha carpet under the end of the bed!

It was quiet. The bed was big. Everything worked as it should.

There were no coat hangers but that was sorted out easily.
