I've been to the Beverley Arms once before, and the location is excellent , added to that the parking that is available on site. The staff are excellent. Lisa, who is on duty at breakfast, always has a smile and makes you feel great to be alive her sister Anita is part of the bar staff, she walks round taking orders clearing glasses off tables and always has a smile and a great personality to go with it. She chats to all the customers, making all feel important . One of the waitresses who works in the evening serving dinner is Isobel. What a lovely young lady again always has a smile and chat with everyone. All the staff who work there are well trained and courteous to all . We love staying there and will be going back.

I would be nit-picking trying to find something we didn't like if anything it would be the price of the drinks .

Beautifully decorated and quaint. Lovely creaky floorboards. The staff I simply couldn’t fault, Claire who served us on the evening was amazing and tentative. Heather at breakfast was so helpful and professional and a really friendly face. Claire also worked the breakfast shift and was simply incredible. The check in was super easy and clear again very helpful and the check out was very easy. The room was immaculate and well set out. The coffee machine was an amazing touch. A morning espresso is a great start to the day. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who would listen .

No air con

It was a special treat for my elderly parents. Room for the night, lunch, eve meal and breakfast. Dad said it was probably the “ best breakfast he’d ever had”!! Marie the lady on the desk was wonderful as we’re all the staff. The only bad point ( which was a shame as the stay was faultless) the young man serving in restaurant did not deal very well with sorting a table for them, apparently there was a leak above? But he believe Marie came to the rescue and sorted out a table, she is a credit to the place. Mum and Dad really enjoyed their short stay and that’s thanks to the wonderful staff. So a big big thankyou from me. Food was lovely too during lunch/evening meal.

Nothing it was fab just the young man who was not very good re customer care. I don’t like to complain but if you want perfection you really did smash it for my parents. I’m very grateful. Fabulous room too.

Breakfast had excellent hot and cold options with good produce. The staff were exceptionally attentive and always helpful, polite and friendly. For once when turning up at a hotel, the radiator had been turned down in the bedroom and therefore, the room was at the perfect temperature for sleeping which was much appreciated. Generally I find hotel rooms are always far too hot but this was ideal. We used the bar facilities and again the staff were excellent, allowing us to try the different beers before making our choice. The location is in the heart of Beverley so ideal.

There was nothing I could really fault about our stay.

It was in the centre of Beverley the room was very clean warm and comfortable. Staff were lovely very pleased to help.

We went down for breakfast looking forward to a full English only when we got back to the table the food was cold the chef had obviously been given the weekend off and everything thing was sitting on the warming plate which put us off having the cooked breakfast the next day but the difference was Monday morning you ordered your breakfast at your table and it was cooked to order. You pay a premium to stay over a weekend to be disappointed pay less on a week day and it’s a whole different ball game.

The room was a good size with a comfortable king sized bed. There was an espresso machine with a choice of coffee pods plus a kettle and assorted tea bags and plenty of milk sachets. There was a small fridge with chilled water as well. The bathroom had Jack and Jill sinks with a lovely deep bath and shower. There was a walk-in shower too and we were supplied with luxury toiletries from the White Company. The room seemed to be sound proofed as we could not hear any outside noise. Very tasty cooked breakfast.

Check -in was a little slow but the staff had a very small desk so it was difficult for more than one person to deal with customers. I had not realised when I booked that the Christmas Fair was to be held on Sunday so I assume more people than usual were staying for the weekend, and it's Christmas so it is usually a busy time. Breakfast was buffet style for cereals and toast etc. but we had to queue for cooked food. I think that cooked food is normally table service but at the weekend it is served from the pass.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful from arrival to departure. Our room was very well equipped with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits replenished each day. A mini fridge was also available so small items could be kept cool. A lovely touch was the complimentary block of chocolate. The beds were really comfortable too. The bathroom was equally well equipped and we also had use of a hair dryer, iron/iron board, slippers and bathrobes. Breakfasts were a delight with loads of choice- from cereals, toast, fruit and yogurts to pastries, muffins and full English cooked breakfast. We also dined in the restaurant and our meals were equally good. Finally, the location was great and within easy walking distance of the town and so helpful to have use of a secure onsite car park. Would definitely recommend and will return again.

From arrival all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us all through our stay. I celebrated my 81st birthday during our stay and the staff helped to make it a bit special with one member bringing in a cake for me Thank you. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was excellent both at breakfast and the evening meals. We are looking forward to staying at the hotel again soon. Thanks to all at the Beverley Arms Hotel for making our stay one to remember. X

From arrival to leaving everything was perfect. The only thing we didn't like was when it came to the time to leave.

All exchanges with staff & management. Everyone wanted to provide a friendly & responsive service. All food experiences were excellent

We were disturbed by the dining/ lounge music playing from 6-00am - with the bass stopping us getting back to sleep!! Mavis mentioned this to reception, a note was left for the early morning staff & we were not troubled again. Thank you for the swift response. A small niggle in the bathroom that we did not request help with was that the washbasin plug screw was not long enough to enable water to move freely from the sink when the plunger to open the plug was used.

We stayed in a terrace room. White Company toiletries in ensuite facilities were amazing. Bed very comfortable. Room cosy and warm. Ate breakfast and 2 dinners in the restaurant. Very good food. Good position for markets and the Minster. Across the road from St Mary's church. Hotel gorgeously decorated for Xmas - really got us in the festive mood. Some lovely shops in Beverley itself.

Toiletries were so nice I ended up having to buy some - luckily there is a White Company shop in town and it was Black Friday week.
