Gorgeous interior with high ceilings and windows and ample parking in the back. It’s quite an inconspicuous looking place to stay which I think adds to the charm of the place.

I was really disappointed that I wasn’t able to use the free standing bath on my last night (only 2 nights booked) as the ceiling above the bath from above floor was leaking onto the bath which made me nervous about having one - kinda defeats the purpose of taking one to relax if you’re worried about the ceiling leakage. In addition, with all the effort gone into the interior decor making the place look unique if they went one step further with room fragrances and in the hallway too I would’ve considered coming back to book again.

The room was super comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The house is beautiful and when the works are completed it will be fabulous! Parking is convenient, though more detailed instructions about gates, etc would be a good idea.

The access and front of the house still needs completing and we were just getting concerned that we couldn’t get in when the host arrived- this still needs attention. In the room, the only thing that needs attention is the contents of the tea and coffee tray, which for the price if the room is only just adequate at present.

The hotel was STUNNING, Bath in the room was lovely, bathroom was lovely, very nice.

There were a few things that need attention - the mattress on the bed was really thin, if I'd been staying any longer than the three days we were there it would have caused problems for my back; the decoration just needs a bit of finishing off, there were paint patches on our wall that didn't match the rest of the walls, the bathroom edges weren't sealed properly and I'm sure there were a few other little bits like that which were overlooked. It still was a beautiful place though.

Another great stay. this has been my 4th stay and i always enjoy staying here. Its a great quiet location but still very close to Birmingham center. A lovely pub across the road and lots of greenary around. Gated parking is a huge bonus.

The wifi is really bad. I have mentioned this before but it has never changed. The speeds are almost non existant where I need to hotspot from my phone. The only other minor issue is that the building is old, so if you are staying on the ground floor, be prepared to hear your upstairs neighbours, especially if they are not considerate.

Excellent decor - stylish Art Deco interiors, great bathroom with monsoon shower and heated floor, really comfy mattress and pillows, rolltop bath in the bedroom. Excellent location on a very quiet road near the Edgbaston Village tram stop, which was really handy for getting into the city centre quickly with no fuss. Some really nice restaurants nearby as well.

The only thing that lets this very stylish hotel down is the very poor internal soundproofing in the building. We were on the ground floor and could hear people moving around in the room upstairs all night. We could hear people talking/watching telly in their rooms, and if they were talking to each other in the corridor we could clearly hear every word of their conversation.

Everything was amazing! The room was so luxurious and so beautiful!! The decor was stunning and the bed was comfortable! I can’t wait to come stay again! Very easy to contact the property owner as well, she was very friendly and helpful. Private car park and we had gowns in our rooms, as well as an iron and iron board.

If the TV was a smart TV it would’ve made the stay even better! Also the heating in my room wasn’t working, the bathroom would heat up but not the actual room. Wi-Fi wasn’t working at all, which was quite upsetting too. Lot of noise in the morning as well around 6-7am.

Everything was really nice, the photos ate exactly what i was given. Room was clean and tidy and smelled really good and the staff even went out there way to make the room well prepped. The bath is nice and there is also a shower and toilet which are both spotless. The Room itself is very nicely climate controlled and the staff were friendly. Only downside is wifi was playing up on my laptop and the tv didnt let me connect to wifi so no youtube or anything which is the only reason its a slight let down. 9/10😮‍💨 also parking is great.

The TV and the wifi were a bit poor.

The property itself is beautiful, wonderful location. impressive room size and we loved the huge bath in the room it was a really gorgeous addition. Theres some light damage in the rooms on carpets and walls but we felt considering how wonderful the room looked when we arrived, they’d made such an effort with rose petals etc we were genuinely over the moon and these minor details didn’t matter.

Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, the staff were AMAZING. But we would probably choose to have breakfast elsewhere if we stayed again. However we would most definitely go back to the high field for drinks as they have a fantastic selection. The food just wasn’t it for us personally, lunch and dinner may well be much better however and those menus looked lovely :)

We travelled from London and unfortunately met alot of traffic enroute. We called ahead to advise reception. He was very helpful and remained on site until we arrived.

Our room was very comfortable. We had a bit of difficulty with the TV which would not switch on but this was sorted the following morning (we stayed too nights). Don't know why but there was also a dead pot, plant in our room which was removed the following day by the cleaners =who by the way were very nice and helpful.

The bath was absolutely awesome and part of the reason I booked it. If there was anything they could add it was bath salts but I bought my own and I would imagine it's probably impracticable to leave them in a room. The pub and food was lovely and I don't normally have much of an appetite but ordered a Sunday roast and full English breakfast. Coffee and tea facilities were very good

My room was at the top of the building and had only a small skylight which I wasn't too bothered about as it was winter but in lighter times might have been an issue. That said it didn't affect the stay I had.
