Great location, room good as was food for a wedding we were attending and obviously the views.

Some of the staff looked inconvenienced to be there and didn't know what to do. There were issues with guests behaviour at night that the hotel didn't know how to deal with. Perhaps staff were new and lacked a bit of confidence/ training. For a 4 star hotel attention to detail was a bit lacking all round. We had popped in for a drink a few weeks ago and it was very chaotic and service was poor. We were told some staff had decided to go home. On both our visits it has not appeared well managed/directed for what you'd expect of a 4 star hotel. Some of the staff were great but appeared frustrated with others.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cube Hotel in Birmingham, and I must say, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the modern and innovative design of the hotel. The use of geometric shapes and sleek lines throughout the interior created a truly unique and stylish atmosphere. The staff at the Cube Hotel were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the get-go. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. My room was nothing short of impressive. The sleek and minimalist design continued into the accommodations, providing a sense of calm and relaxation. The panoramic views of Birmingham's skyline from the large windows were breath-taking, especially during sunset and sunrise. The room was equipped with all the modern amenities I needed, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep.

Free breakfast not included in a high priced ticket. Cost of adding breakfast was quite high for what seems like a generic breakfast from a hotel.

Lovely hotel, with a beautiful roof top terrace and restaurant. Very comfy bed. We would stay again. Very close to the Utilita stadium with a fab walk along the canal to get to it (10 minute stroll with lots of bars and restaurants along the way).. The staff were brilliant. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there, but smelled lovely.

The air con wasn't working and the room was very hot. We were told this in advance and offered a full refund or 50% off bill. As we were seeing a concert we went ahead with the booking. This is not a complaint as we thought that a very fair compromise. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lovely, comfortable large room with a sweeping view across Birmingham. If contemporary design is important to you, this is the only hotel to book as Brum suffers from a lack of hotels that look good. Elemis bathroom products and robe were a nice touch, as was the very local and historic Cadbury's hot chocolate. Highly recommend taking the breakfast option served on the top floor at Marco Pierre White. MPW is an insufferable tool and the restaurant design, despite the panoramic views, is utterly soulless. However, the food was phenomenal, made with care, flair and great produce. I never realised a sausage ciabatta could taste so good. Like the city, the staff were diverse, friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great stay!

I intensely dislike the architecture of The Cube, so it was a bonus to stay, as it means you do not have to look at it. In fact, we were really lucky to not get a room that looked out across the fragmented facade framework. However, if you are interested in architecture, it was designed by Ken Shuttleworth/ MAKE Architects, maybe interesting for you to see, along with the stunning Selfridges by Amanda Levete/ Future Systems (blobitecture!) and the library by Dutch legends, Mecanoo.

the cleanliness, the staff were really nice and helpful the view from our bedroom was spectacular! very beautiful, dinner at Rodizio Rico was nice & then breakfast on 25th floor at Marco Pierre with the view was very nice and refreshing

the one and only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I booked to stay at this hotel to use the spa facilities which had stated on booking.com that the facilities were in use till this day but when we got there the reception had said the spa was out of use since covid and the website hasn’t been updated so we were quite upset at that! as it is false advisement and website should of been updated from the get go to make people aware of the spa not being in use because I wouldn’t of booked it knowing the spa wasn’t available as it was a weekend treat for a ‘spa getaway’ as it was a special occasion.

10 mins walk away from the Bullring Close proximity to lots of bars and restaurants The staff were amazing, particular the barman upstairs The views in the restaurant (and their generous 25% for blue light card holders)

The pillows were not great - I understand that this is a personal choice thing but the were too hard and firm for my liking Carpets are heavily stained in the hall way And be warned, the restaurant charges you a £5pp surcharge if you want to eat at a window table of the evening (although I appreciate they are a separate entity to the hotel!)

Very central location so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants in the city centre (although we did stay here because my son was getting married in the hotel. Stunning views of the whole of Birmingham

I did find an empty water bottle on the floor of the room when we checked in although the room itself was clean. Also nowhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom. In communal spaces, reception/bar and restaurant some of the furniture was tired/ seats split etc., and the tables were sticky (leather not a good surface.

You room and bathroom were spacious. The view was amazing. The amenities were great, fridge (that it’s ridiculously small), an iron and ironing board, safe, kettle and a selection of hot drinks, slippers and robes! An excellent wardrobe and plenty of mirrors!

That there was a random exercise bike and weights in the room was bizarre. The robes were abit ‘old’ one of the loop holes had ripped and there had stain around the neck line. A couple of pillow cases had marks on (not necessarily dirt just black stains) The lift was awful, one wide of broke or something it took forever to get anywhere in the hotel, differently need more lifts.

Ideal location for a night out in the City. Lots of lovely places to drink and eat within walking distance. Discounted parking offered at the mailbox, so only a 5 minute walk from your car. Big room and bed, fridge in the room as well as iron and ironing board. Staff were helpful after my credit card had to be replaced which meant I had to change my card to a debit card the day before. Excellent value for money compared to prices of other local hotels.

Honestly can't think of anything!
