The room was great, roomy, clean and a very comfy bed, even the kids bed was a proper bed not a folding one. Much better room than most premier inns we've stayed at a much better price. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast amazing for the price, 9 pounds each, 5 per child for both full English and continental buffet was great value for money. Would definitely stay again, ideally located between Liverpool and Cheshire oaks and Chester zoo attractions. Friendly staff with a warm welcome, nothing was wrong at all with this accommodation, after reading some negative reviews, was wary, but I totally disagree with them. Nearby restaurants and takeaways too if you don't want to eat there.

Nothing, would return without hesitation

Breakfast was absolutely fine with the usual offerings of cereal, fruit juice drinks etc as well as a waitress service for cooked breakfasts. glad we opted for the B&B option. Room was more spacious than usual, comfy bed and good sized 'des'.Generally comfy and well provided for. Staff were all very polite and reception very helpful during our short stay. No major issues. We were happy with what we had at the price we paid.

There is a slightly tired feel to the hotel as if it is due a bit of a makeover. bath water was cold until reception adjusted the boiler for jus, then it was okay though the temp. control for the shower was rather temperamental the shower head came off in my hands as I attempted to simply adjust the angle. There are only two electrical sockets, one of which is for the kettle. This is of course inadequate for the modern needs of chargers etc. None of these things is a major concern and we did enjoy our stay.

the staff where amazing from start to finish we stayed for 6 nights and everyone was absolutely lovely and very accommodating! the food ect door was absolutely lovely and fresh the staff in there was very chatty and made sure everything was up to standard for us, i could not fault anything here! very clean we ran out of hot water for about 2 hours i told the receptionist and they then gave me free dinner and pudding as an apology for the hot water i was absolutely amazed with the service here and would definitely be here again

Breakfast was 10/10 everything you could want and more. All available at the time. 90% of the staff I met and spoke to were very friendly and approachable. Just the odd couple i felt unapproachable

Nothing not to like, although on leaving in the morning they just took my key and there was no acknowledgment of my stay i.e "was everything ok with your stay" etc. "Have a nice day" "Hope to see you again." I dont know......maybeI expect too much but I just felt a bit let down

An easy-to-find pub/hotel. A very comfortable night's bed for the weary traveller. The hot and cold breakfast was tasty however two of this and that was too much so the second morning I had the child's breakfast. The reception staff (Siobhan) acted on all my requests re staying an extra night and providing an extension cable and extra milk. Great to see one large soap container in the bathroom - very environmental.

The bathroom door was excessively squeaky; the wash hand basin was significantly cracked; the light above the mirror/desk did not work.

Good central location for The Wirral, shops in the village. We were meeting friends who were also staying on The Wirral, were we all grew up. So was easy for meeting up, short drive to Port Sunlight (were friends were staying). Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff from the staff at the reception, to those serving meals in evening to the cleaners. Good value food in the evening.

OH that bed!! One of the most comfortable beds EVER! Tea coffee milk sugar and kettle in room. The family room we had was huge with one big double bed, a single bed, a sofa bed and still room for a travel cot we asked for! The staff were friendly and helpful. On-site very child-friendly pub with great food all day (full English breakfasts, lunch, dinner…) and indoor soft play, outdoor play area and drinks terrace. We arrived quite late and couldn’t go to the bar with the children obvs but you can take drinks from the bar to the room which can be handy!

Could do with a little refurbish in some areas (paint peeling off the walls in the bedroom etc.) but warm, clean and very comfortable!

lots of ground floor rooms, good restaurant. Good accessibility in the room. Staff really nice and friendly (except the one who wouldn’t put Eurovision on!)

football on TV everywhere, from reception to the restaurant. Most doors quite awkward with a rollator, and corridors quite narrow. Also, wouldn’t put on Eurovision in the restaurant, even though it was on just up the road in Liverpool; we had to watch it on our room because they were showing football. No room service either.

Reception, breakfast and cleaning staff friendly and professional, rooms clean and bed very comfy. Visiting family and friends in Bromborough, location ideal, car parking facilities good and food served in pub reasonably priced and delicious.

On arrival went to bar to order food and drink , unfortunately some food and drink not available. Our nineteen year old daughter was refused bar service even though she produces her driving licence, she was ordering drinks for her Dad and me and wanted lemonade herself!

We had a fab time,we like the fact that we can walk straight through to the pub. We also like the surrounding area . Also there are shops and pubs close by aswell as buses now there back up and running. We personally like also that Janet on reception was lovely and very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Also Sarah who was on the bar and food an d pottering round every were helping thank you to you both for all your help. And thank you to Jen and Leah on reception who Also made our stay a pleasurable one .

It's not that we didnt like waiting all the time , but it would be a great help if more staff on the bar for food and for drinks or one for food and one for drinks seperate. But thank you everyone done their best and the food was lovely .
