Staff were very welcoming. Complimentary drink, spacious room. Decent size TV on the wall and free WiFi. Towels included. Great location

It states free toiletries, so I didn't bring anything with me. There was soap and a body gel dispenser, no shampoo, the dispenser wasn't working properly so it was a struggle washing my hair. We got in late after being out and couldn't get into the hallway as another customer had put the latch on, after phoning alot, I had to force the key round and push the door forcefully, luckily the door didn't break and luckily we got back into the room. The shower head and pipe could've done with more cleaning.

My single room was beautiful, from the leafy carpet and tapestry-like blackout curtains to the warm colours and imaginative decor. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, bright and relatively roomy. The staff were helpful and responsive— e.g., the weather had turned cold suddenly and the rooms were quite chilly, and they didn’t hesitate to turn on the heat when asked.

The wifi connected in the pub, but did not reach my room (#5) on the top floor. I stayed on a Saturday night and found the street noise to be a problem until nearly 2 a.m. This was no fault of the hotel, as their pub closed up around 11, but the location is something to be aware of if you need a quiet room. The hotel is on a fairly significant thoroughfare and there were lots of cars, both passing and parked/idling, with thumping music, and a stream of revellers flowing from the bars and restaurants in the centre of town. I would be happy to stay there again, but not on a Saturday night in a room facing the street. (Two of the six rooms face the back.)

Accessibility, great location, 9 mins walk into town. Comfortable bed, clean shower/bathroom. Nice quirky decor.. something different and great value. Staff were friendly on welcome, and helped with additional tea/milk.

Windows facing main Street junction, so some road noise . Yes double glazed unit was great at muting sound, but you had to have it open for fresh air. So...a bit of a catch 22... Car parking was a bit of an issue , but do your homework and prepare for a bit of a walk to secure parking if you're staying a couple of days.

It's in a really good location, mid way from train station to the city, an easy walk. You check in at the pub, and the staff were lovely , friendly and helpful. The room is a mini suite with a little hall way and a bathroom off the hallway, giving it more space. The floor space is minimal in the room but it was fine for our short stay. All things you need there - hairdryer , iron, TV etc Pretty comfy beds Really clean Shower was lovely once we figured to pull the cord by the toilet to switch it on, it was easy Plug socket near the bed for charging Drinks discount 15% at the bar for staying there and a free drink! They let us keep our bags once we'd checked out before we headed off later on the train

I liked the style of the room, staff were friendly. We had a complementary drink voucher too. Location was great, especially if you're going to the races. I would definitely stay here again! Great value for money.

In all honesty, we had a great stay. Only thing I'd be mindful of is that you are above a pub so until around midnight - 1am it is quite loud. We still managed to sleep through the great tunes the DJ was playing. Also the shower in our room wasn't the most powerful and the shower tray filled with water when in the shower around a couple of inches.

Room fun and quirky, bedding nice and clean, bathroom super clean and bright, plus hot water was a good pressure. My room was at the back so quiet from any street noise. Excellent location for walking to anywhere in Central Chester and plenty of places for breakfast and dinner nearby.

There was no shelf or power in the bathroom, so was unable to style my hair, the only mirror in the main room was too high for me (I'm 5'3), so make up was with a mini handheld mirror. Fine for 1 day but my stay was 5 days....so hair looked a right mess. I would have preferred it a little warmer too in the mornings

Liked the location in Chester centre lots of shops and bars nearby. Rooms are also above a pub. Despite this no noise as bar closes at certain times. Good for a short stay.

Couldn’t find a wifi password anywhere. Wasn’t even told about one but said free wifi in guestbook when I was looking at recommendations in the area. I had work to do for my business trip but sadly couldn’t do any. Had to go next door to spoons and work there the next day. The shower is tiny. Not much room to move and couldn’t work the shower properly without getting in meaning I had to freeze then get scalded by the water until it was the correct temp.

The staff were lovely from when we arrived. We were greeted with a bottle of cava with it being Valentines Day and shown to our room. The room just blew us away, so quirky yet comfortable with added wee touches. Highly recommend anyone that stays also visits the bar where you will receive a warm welcome, reasonably priced drinks and events on occasion. As you can tell we are smitten with Fifteens and can't wait to return.

Rooms were warm, clean, and ideal for visiting Chester. Access through private, secure entrance. Extra window covers which help with sound proofing. Voucher for a free drink in bar fifteen was a bonus. Decor of rooms were quirky, but great to look at, lots of character. Fifteen bar below, good atmosphere and pool table enjoyed 24 hr parking in NCP car, £13 just over the road, behind Queens head pub.

Great location. Close to main attractions. Comfy bed. Vibrant and vintage decor. Full facilities, including TV, hair dryer, instant coffee, and ironing facilities. Lots of storage in bathroom.

The shower head in the Racecourse room was not suitable for small/short people. It didn't position correctly despite the small shower room, but I could barely move. The main room was a bit dim. Lighting was quite slow to respond. The charge was overpriced for 2 nights without breakfast, but I suppose I paid for the location.
