Clean rooms and bar staff were very attentice and polite.

On the 4th floor room was very hot so we didnt sleep well. Was advised to open the window but all you could then hear was the traffic outside. If you're going to have air con make it so that it can be set at a cooler temperature the suits the person staying in the room! The room could use a bin in the main room as well as the toilet.

Comfortable and spacious room, great shower and loved the thick towels! The proximity to the airport was great - a short walk to check in for my early morning flight and back again late evening. The car park was also great and at £10 a day, a steal. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

The motion sensor light at the base of the bed is a great idea if you want to go to the bathroom in the evening, but mine was also being triggered every time I rolled over in bed - I think maybe from the duvet. Whatever the case it wasn’t great for peaceful sleep. The first night the room was very warm despite turning off the aircon and opening the window as per wall instruction. That also made for a noisy night.

The design has a fresh and friendly feeling about it, and the room is bright and comfortable, ideal for when you arrive at the end of a long day and want to settle in. The staff are helpful and welcoming. There's a social space downstairs, with an evening bar, where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning. It's also very good value for money. and this is definitely somewhere to know about and look forward to going back to. And the tram link from the airport to the city centre makes the whole travel process through Edinburgh airport so straightforward.

With all airport hotels the walk from the airport can be fine and easy in the daylight, setting off from the hotel after breakfast when you see where you're going, but it can feel a bit long when arriving on a late-evening plane and depending on the signs to find your way there for the first time. They start off fine but I should have checked the route better in advance and think I must have missed one somewhere and gone a more roundabout way. When nearing it, the Moxy can be recognised by its blue 'y' sign.

We checked in late and had a warm welcome from Anthony. Unfortunately as our flight was early the next morning we couldn't take up the offer of a free welcome cocktail. The communal areas of the hotel looked good with space to relax, answer emails or read etc. So many hotels overlook this. Hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the airport departures area.

Would have been nice if the kitchen was still open but we did check in pretty late so I wasn't too surprised (around 10pm). It also took a while to work out that the under-bed lighting turns off after a while automatically as we spent a while searching for the light switch (there wasn't a phone to call reception on).

We stayed for 1 night due to a late arrival and early departure of our flights. We checked in later than expected and staff were very friendly and made us aware of our options if we needed anything to eat or drink. The hotel is very modern and trendy. The room was clean and fresh. The motion sensor lights around the base of the bed were great if you needed to move around without putting the bigger lights on. The bed was very comfy and plenty pillows. The shower was refreshing and the toiletries provided were good. The main area of the hotel has a pool table and some other entertainment items which if we had been at the hotel earlier we would definitely have used. We didn't use any of the other facilities such as the bar or breakfast but we were made aware that they were there. The lift needs your key card to activate so security of rooms was good.

It was perfect for what we needed. It was a 5 minute walk from the airport. The bus stop is directly outside the door which brought us right down to where the Christmas markets were on. The bed was comfy and the lobby area was pretty cool. We had an early flight the following day so didn't get to check out the bar or anything but it all looked cool. They had pool and other games in the lobby also.

There wasn't much we didn't like to be honest. The only thing I could say is that the room is on the smaller size but that didn't matter to us as we were only there for the one night. Its also around 30 minutes or so outside of Edinburgh by bus which we knew booking it but wanted to be closer to airport for early flight.

I was unable to have breakfast due to an early departure for my flight, but my overall experience at the hotel was exceptionally pleasant. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel were notable, and as an Interior Designer, I appreciated the thoughtfully designed lighting and interior elements. The staff was friendly, and arranging a taxi, even at 4 am, was effortlessly easy. The proximity of the hotel to the airport, just a few minutes away, contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I only regret not having more time to spend at the hotel.

I dined for both dinner and lunch at the hotel, and I was particularly impressed by the inclusion of Sri Lankan dishes on their menu. However, I found the meals to be a bit on the expensive side. Despite this, the culinary experience was enjoyable, and it would have been even more satisfying if the prices were more reasonable.

Good location, staff pleasant. Pillows good. Didn’t have breakfast.

We ordered food in the bar and it was very poor, onion rings and chicken in the chicken burgers soggy. Chicken lacked flavour. Coleslaw just too rustic and bitter. Squid chewy, in fact one piece I couldn’t even cut through with the knife. However we were tired and hungry and ate it, so didn’t feel it appropriate to complain to staff who were pleasant and polite. Suffice to say whilst I would stay at the hotel, I would never consider eating there again.

My flight was cancelled so I stayed two nights at Moxy. It was amazing that it was only 10 minutes walking from the check-in. The room was quiet, the shower was great, it was clean, the kettle was there, the space had a good energy and the staff was extremely nice and warm. Normally I don't go often to hotels, but it was so nice. I had three times a day meals; it was quit cheap and I saw also some more people eating alone. It was a good vibe. Thanks to Benny who helped me full of energy and kindness with my luggage (it was so much as I was moving back), thanks to Sir Graham for his kindness and social being, thanks to Lucy for the kind service and all the other staff. Literally everybody was so kind and helpful. From explaining the breakfast to having a short talk. Oh, and I loved the food (pancakes, curry, breakfast buffet and burger). And the tv was great! Love the BBC programs to spice up my English.

That I had too much luggage, but that is my personal problem ha, next time I take bigger suitcases.

The room was very clean and modern. The facilities were excellent and the staff were great! We stayed another extra two nights as I got sick and my partner was going down to front desk with all sorts of requests (to help me feel better, e.g we got salt and water for my throat, a glass of ice, hot drink) and the staff were very accommodating. There was a night shift worker called Franz we believe who was great. We got to keep the room we were in to make it more comfortable and they allowed us to take food/drinks to our room (which was lovely when ill).

It was a bit far from town for us but then again it is more a hotel for people travelling from the airport so we expected it to be hard to reach Edinburgh city centre. No fault of hotel.
