"The room was spotless, and we really appreciated the complimentary water bottles and selection of tea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the provided toiletries were a lovely touch. Since we stayed in February, the hotel was peaceful, and the room maintained a perfect temperature. Breakfast was amazing, with a fantastic variety of options, and the staff were absolutely wonderful—helpful, welcoming, and very informative. A truly enjoyable stay!"

The green emergency light was somewhat distracting while sleeping, but the hotel thoughtfully provided an eye mask and earplugs, which was a nice touch.

I really liked the location of this hotel, I also really liked the vibe too, the bar area was cool and everyone was relaxed but helpful. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and tidy and suited our needs perfectly.

The lighting was a little too dim, and the only other negative that I had was that our room had a bathtub in the bedroom and a separate WC, but there was no private shower. It made it a little awkward to wash because I was sharing the room with my sister, so we sort of had to leave the room so the other could wash. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was a bit annoying. The bathtub was massive and really cool, but I couldn't just relax in it because my sister obviously needed to come back to the room. I wish I would have known in advance about this as it may have affected our room choice when looking for somewhere to stay. This was the only issue, though. Everything else was great. I'm sure it is perfectly fine for a couple sharing the room, just not ideal for siblings! :)

Character property in a great location in the centre of Frome. We loved the decor and furnishings which were in keeping with the style of the property and had everything we needed in the room for a comfortable stay and there were some nice touches like a cafetiere with sachets of freshly ground coffee and a flask, so that you could collect fresh milk from the bar. Everything was very eco friendly. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely dinner in the hotel bar. Very dog friendly too.

The only slight disappointment was breakfast. The produce and choice were great, but they didn't have 2 items available for the full English breakfast and I would have preferred my toast on the side with some butter as it was a bit dry! We also waited a long time for the food. However, that certainly wouldn't put me off going back!

This hotel is in a great location situated in the town and within walking distance to shops and bars etc, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was nice and the breakfast was very good, the courtyard garden bar is great and the is a very good selection of drinks including cocktails, the food is also very good

There are no complaints about this hotel, having stayed in a different butscombe b and b I would say the added extras ie complimentary drinks and mini bar there gave it an added touch although there were some of these included in this stay and this was also reflected in the very reasonable price

Mattress was little hard. Toilet was had not been cleaned and had poo stains.

A real little gem ! Lovely warm welcome.. great cocktails , with a mixologist making really lovely different ones to try .. great chef who done us lovely dinners , all with from fresh ingredients & that extra touch , that made them special .. lovely courtyard and a old meets modern interior .. very charming & comfortable.. the staff were amazing & they treated all the dogs with love.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and warm. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely and so dog friendly. Our dog was offered breakfast every morning, and water anytime we went in the bar.

The courtyard room was a little noisy due to being able to hear people drinking and chatting in the courtyard. However this never went on late and so didn’t disturb sleep.

Location. The bath was great too. We found the staff helpful, friendly and personable.

The room needed better lighting. The corridor was noisy. The temperature was overly hot in the bathroom and cold in parts of the bedroom. There was nowhere to put makeup on and drying hair was difficult as the mirror near the socket was behind the TV. A small table behind the bath would have been helpful.

Love our room, spacious & cozy with an amazing bathroom. Greeted with a friendly smile & very helpful staff.

Unfortunately breakfast was the only negative. Not my husbands his was fine & he enjoyed his full English. Mine was plant based & sadly the hash browns were burnt with no potatoes inside them along with so much salt I just couldn't eat them. Sausages very burnt too. So sorry for negative comment but I felt it needed saying. Can't fault the staff as always so nice, friendly & helpful.

Comfortable bed in clean and tidy room. Friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. Really good breakfast, with a wide choice, there was something on the breakfast menu for everyone. And really great real ale in the bar.

The only thing that I could say that I didn’t like, was that I had to park my motorcycle in a public car park(only about 2 minutes walk) as there is basically no parking in public. But I was able to chain it to a security post in the car park, and there was no charge for parking overnight.
