Lovely pub with a nice choice of drinks in a good location at the top of the hill near town, very cosy and comfortable pub. Rooms were a great size, we had a triple room and bed was big and incredibly comfy, nice big and comfy bed for our toddler as well. Room was very clean and tidy, our room was on the main road and was still very quiet which was nice. Breakfast was sensational, possibly the nicest we’ve had. All local produce which was delicious. Staff were very nice and friendly. Easy to find and on site parking.

Only minor let down for us is it seems to be advertised as a pub / restaurant but in reality it’s a Pub / B&B. On the website there is a menu which implies they do evening food so we had planned to eat there on arrival about 8pm but were told that they don’t do food. Not much else was open so we had to grab something from kebab shop down the road which was fine but not what we hoped for. Just need to update website to clarify what they offer in my opinion.

Great central location for town centre, staff were great, very friendly / chatty, recommend full English for breakfast, very tasty and very good quality. Parking at the back of the building which was very handy.

As you are on the main road and your room is at the front , bit noisy with traffic if you have the windows open when it is warm, had to close windows at night but used the fan provided to keep the room cool.

Hotel in Frome is not far from Bath, Glastonbury and Bristol Airport, would need car. Breakfast was excellent, no problem in requesting extra. The friendly staff were very helpful in a relaxed atmosphere. As some of our party were arriving for a wedding, the staff did their best to have rooms ready for earlier check in. Carpark at back door.

Hotel would not suit anyone with mobility issues due to stairs. The outside of hotel needs some maintenance i.e. back door entrance, and some gardening.

Very charming place - quite old but comfortable. Good heat and hot water. Lovely furnishings and the family suite had plenty of room for four of us (could sleep 6). Breakfast was simple but delicious - very convenient to have a good restaurant and bar downstairs, but other places are in walking distance too.

Seems like maybe there is new ownership - everyone was brand new. This wasn’t necessarily bad - trying to relaunch themselves maybe. Restaurant was a little short staffed but they are hiring. Beds a little soft but still comfortable.

The property is funky decorated with immaculate bedrooms. On suite facilities especially the shower outstanding. The breakfast well what can I say absolutely superb all local produce that you can have as much or as little as you like. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming with nothing too much trouble.

The way we went into the property at the back was a little off putting it wasn’t very appealing but don’t let this put you off!! Plus at the top of a very steep hill.

The Cornerhouse is in a great location for exploring and close to the town. The room had just been refurbished, so it was all new and spotlessly clean. There was a nice choice of breakfast and the staff were warm and welcoming. Just be aware (July 2023) they are currently looking for an evening cook, so there are no evening meals. We were recommended a restaurant within a few minutes walk which was really lovely and there are lots of places to eat in Frome.

Really clean rooms, nice friendly staff. The food served in the bar downstairs was delicious, the bar itself has a pretty relaxed atmosphere with an eclectic customer base but is very much a separate space from the hotel.

Parking is an issue, it’s a shared area with local residents and the bar customers so you might not get a space and being fairly central, any on street parking is a 5-10 minute walk away

The staff are without exception kind, caring friendly and willing to help with anything. The food was excellent for dinner and breakfast is tremendous but could be a little boring if you were there for a longer stay. Having said that, the staff are always willing to mix and match items and there's a good selection of cereals, yoghurts and juices. The bar is lively and friendly with a great range of local and international beers. Again, the staff are just fantastic.

The rooms are a little 'tired' but clean and comfortable. The addition of an air conditioning unit was an unexpected and delightful surprise in our room.

Great location, lovely staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious and locally sourced. Wasn’t far away from children’s playground and close to the town. Only a 8 minute drive to Longleat which was a bonus

Could have had some comfy arm chairs in room or even a small sofa. Was a very warm day so windows were open throughout the day and night, we had smokers smoking outside bedroom window occasionally.

Superb breakfast and also the evening meals were excellent value. The choice wasn't massive but it was more than enough and the portion size and quality was excellent.

Few minor issues in the apartment we had, bathroom extractor didn't work and a couple of spots needed tidying up on the decoration side but overall an excellent venue. The only other negative is the place is on the corner of a very busy junction so there is a lot of traffic noise and it's situated at the top of a steep hill which could be an issue for the not so mobile!!
