Great location, it was less than a five minute walk to The Garage music venue on Sauchiehall Street, the main reason for my visit. The location was also ideal for those wishing to go into the city centre of Glasgow which is just a short walk along Sauchiehall St. or you can use public transport, there's a convenient bus stop which is right outside the music venue.

Overall, nothing of note, it's in a great location, my room was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly and the bar price's were decent. The only thing I would have liked was a hand towel to go with the ample bath towel but that said, it was no big deal and I guess I could have asked for one!

Genuinely kind and Friendly staff. Charlene is an asset to your company. As a solo female traveller with social anxiety I was apprehensive when checking in but she made me feel at ease and greeted me with a warm welcome and offered to call a taxi for me when I was leaving. The vibe is very chilled in the lobby and feels inviting. I liked how you couldn’t use the lift unless you were a guest with a card that made me feel safer. I liked how clean the place smelled as soon as I walked in. Not a clinical smell but a lovely shampoo type smell. My room was clean and the bed was so comfy. The shower is deceivingly spacious.

There was roadworks or construction outside so I woken up at 8am with drilling.

Having stayed at this IBIS before, the room and bed were as expected - clean and comfortable and all facilities working. Good breakfast.; nice to be able to help yourself from large dishes, rather than lots of little plastic pots of yogurt, marmalade, etc. More environmentally friendly too! We particularly like the location - quiet but central enough that we can walk or take buses to most of the places we want to visit in Glasgow.

Construction work going on both sides of the hotel. Fortunately, the double glazing was very effective at blocking any noise.

Very clean and lovely room, hotel in general was nicely presented. There was quite a lot of road works outside which we hadn't been made aware of, but we weren't overly bothered by that, some people would have liked the heads up about it though I think. The car park isn't right next to the hotel, its very nearby, but it caused a little confusion and meant us parking elsewhere. All in all, nice hotel and good value for money.

Distance from the car park was not a major issue but a little confusing. There were a lot of works going on around the hotel, I'm sure nothing that the hotel could do about it but probably best to let people know it was going on.

Clean, comfortable room with a large TV and very large bed with wonderful pillows. Very quiet, too. Checking in & out was simple. There are plenty of lamps in the room to light it, and a large mirror in the bathroom. The shower was nice, too. Great price and had a little hairdryer & heater available.

The bathroom was the main downfall - toilets were incredibly loud when flushing... could even hear the noise of the toilets flushing from other rooms when it was quiet at night as they're so loud. There was a small gap under the shower doors, so some water would leak across the floor (could be a slip hazard for those not great on their feet). Location is great for the theatre, but fewer shops & places to visit than perhaps nearer to central station. There are major roadworks outside the building so cars can not get down the road. While this is temporary and of no fault of the hotel, it would have been beneficial to be prewarned (especially if you were being dropped off with a lot of luggage).

Staff were pleasant and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. The idea of just pressing a button and a taxi arriving in minutes was superb. Unfortunately, the roadworks meant we could not be delivered right to the door but that was unavoidable.

We went for a meal in the Novotel and, on our way back to our room we picked up some sugar and were looking for some milk pods as there were none in our room on our arrival. One of the workers stood and stared at us as if we were taking something we shouldn't. I explained why we were taking them and he said we should have gone to the Ibis reception. I understand this may have been correct but, having spent Β£60 on a meal, surely he didn't need to make us feel so uncomfortable.

I liked the room, it was clean, cosy and modern. The staff were happy to help when I needed it. I liked that the shampoo and condotioner were eco friendly/ recyclable/ vegan.

Need a mini fridge in the room - how do people refridgerate their medication? I have IBS and use a supplimemt juice drink and yoghurts that need to be kept in a fridge. Not so bad for me to go a week without it, but other people have illnesses (such as diabetes) that rely on keeping it in the fridge. Also, it was a really warm week and my bottles of water and coke kept going warm due to lack of fridge. A lot of early, loud building work waking me up. Although I do understand that is outside of the hotels control.

Room was fine - lighting good enough to read - bathroom bright and functional - Reception staff friendly and helpful Breakfast excellent Flexibility of having more time to get breakfast / and check out

Staff engagement at breakfast poor - contrast to reception - housekeeping staff very interactive when passing them in corridors - kettle in room too basic / unsafe - when plugged in can be dragged over when pulling curtains shut - I had just made a coffee - just caught kettle as it was going over edge unit - burns danger from hot water - forgot to mention when leaving

It was a good bolt hold. The place was inviting and moving with the times, using technology to its advantage to improve efficiency particularly in the breakfast room. Having managed a hotel restaurant in Glasgow, I understand how helpful automated systems can be. The staff were really good also ... nothing too much for them. We had a minor issue with the room and brought it to their attention, they were very quick to apologise, even through it wasn't their fault and offer a free drink as comp.

The building works outside my window at 8am on a Sunday. Again not the hotels fault and they were very quick to apologise, Seeing the best rate outside the hotel when we arrived and knowing I'd paid almost Β£100 extra via booking.com. lesson to self, book direct with ibis.... again not their fault

Really good location (comfortable walk to Hydro and town centre), decent size room, good value breakfast. Shower and other facilities were solid. Bed comfortable. Clean room, staff were helpful and nice. Price was decent for the location.

Low on toilet paper in the room. Stayed over 2 nights and only half a roll for 2 people. Had to purchase extra which isn't ideal. Hotel also hard to access due to ongoing roadworks. Not the fault of the hotel but worth noting. Also, pub prices were fairly extortionate. Twin bed was a bit short, though I am 6ft 4 so I'm used to it.
