The room was fabulous. The bed was large and very comfortable, there was a double shower head in the bathroom. Even though there was a building site next door, I didn't experience any noise issues. There is a nice little gym with sauna and steam room facilities as well. As I went on a Sunday I had the pleasure of these facilities all to myself with plenty of towels and lockers available. Downstairs in the lobby there was a selection of free books to read, and a fully-stocked bar and a selection of food that could also be delivered as room service. In the room itself everything was considered. Robes and slippers were supplied, a fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board, desk, wifi, and smart TV, and a nespresso machine with plenty of pods, including decaf options as well as regular and herbal teas and a biscuit. Complimentary bottles of still and sparking water as well as hot chocolate. Staff were accommodating and sociable. I was allowed an early check in and there was a bag storage available to store luggage for a few hours after checkout. And the hotel is well located to transport, good and shopping. This was a truly great hotel stay and I'd stay here again in a heartbeart.

Honestly, I would have to go looking for faults. The stay was great. My room was a little warm, and the drains were a bit slow. That's it, that's all I could pick. It was a great stay.

Central location, walking distance to shops and bars as well as theatre. Super breakfast, clean room, nice tea and coffee, complimentary water too, and there was no noise from other rooms. Clean bathroom and fresh towels was great and the hand and shower wash smells divine! Lovely, clean, friendly hotel which was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Despite there being a card in the room to order breakfast as room service, it was not something the hotel currently offers, however breakfast in the dining room was very nice. There is currently building work going on next door to the hotel but over the weekend there was no work being done, so this was not an issue.

The young lady who checked me in (early) was fantastic. The extra big bed, warmth and comfort. Extra pillows. Lots of tea & coffees in room. The soap and shampoo of an excellent quality. Iron and ironing board a bonus. The room gave a feeling of quality, appreciated.

I asked for a room change as my 1st room was next to main hallway with lifts nearby. I’m a light sleeper and single female so went to reception to ask for another room. The man gave me a room, and stated that there was no other options for me after this change. The room which faced on to a builders site, and at 8am the noise from the building team was extremely intrusive. The kettle wouldn’t automatically switch off. You can’t use cash at all in the bar which wasn’t good for me, so I took my business elsewhere. However, overall I thought this hotel was great.

One of the 2 lifts were broken during our stay, without clear access to stairs a lot of time spent waiting for it. We were only on the first floor so could have walked but weren't told where the stairs were until checking out with our luggage (waited a good 5 minutes before asking a staff member). Perhaps putting up a sign/being told when you check in where they are could fix this, especially for those only one flight up.

The hotel is not in the center of the city center, it takes 10-15 minutes to walk down to the main shopping street. but it is a short walk to restaurants

There was really nothing I disliked about the hotel, the staff or the service. great breakfast and decent restaurant. The room was clean and spacious. we did have an extra bed for a teenager that was a queen size but still plenty of room left

The hotel was very clean, we were made to feel really welcome on arrival. Rooms were spacious and perfect for our one night stay. Big shout out to Ruta and Ryan on the bar. Very friendly and kind whilst being completely professional. Credit to the hotel. Sonya on reception, was also a staff member we met.who was extremely helpful and cheerful Bar area was great, and complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. We will most definitely book again.

Nothing I can think of

the breakfast was really good quality, the staff were really lovely. especially Sonia! the toilet flush handle was broken and they let us have another room to help us out. they had a good breakfast deal where you sign up to this website and get a free breakfast, free refill water machine we loved. toilet paper was really soft lol. comfortable beds and pillows.

there isn’t any air con so the rooms are hot at night, you can use a fan though, one side of the building is next to a construction site so it’s noisy early in the morning so can’t have your window open. also the big tour bus pulls up outside so you hear traffic quite loud if the window is open. is a little outdated in the rooms, but it was fine. toilet was a little smelly like it needed a thorough scrub.

It was fairly central so easy to go back an forward. Very quiet especially at night as we had young children with us. The staff were lovely & helpful! The breakfast was a really good range of different choices, an a relaxed atmosphere!

The room was extremely warm, even with the window open all day & night… the menu in the restaurant was very limited & not really suitable for children so unfortunately we didn’t even in it like we had planned to.

The hotel is clean, tidy and room is very cosy. Bed is super comfortable with a decent bathroom. The toilet is separate (which is strange) but not an issue. The staff were super friendly and helpful, appreciated all the help received when a friend was spending 1 night with me (stayed for 4 nights). Hotel is 5 mins from the theatre which was super convenient for me!

Not the end of the world but my room was not ready at 3pm and had to wait a further 20 mins. On 2 separate occasions the staff came into the room when I was inside without knocking. This was not an issue for me but you are 10-15 mins away from the city centre and it is steep!

When booking through the website adults+children the final booking only showed adults ( even though i paid breakfast for 4) However, immediately the lady from reception offered us the same deal. And the breakfast was so crowded, definitely understaffed, I felt bad for the staff trying to cope with so many guests. I think they need a bigger diner, or less breakfast included tickets. I wasn't able to have a coffee, wasn't able to get hashbrown, the queue was long and people were desperate to grab something. It felt like a charity not like a hotel diner. Also for 4 people one 5ml shampoo bottle is not acceptable.
