We loved the secluded location of this working farm that has conservation close to its heart. It's in a beautiful location. They draw a large variety of birds into the garden by hanging many birdfeeders around the house. The birds can easily be watched from the windows. The bedroom itself was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was very clean, and there was plentiful hot water. Our hardworking farming hosts were friendly, helpful, and ensured we had a delicious cooked breakfast every morning using their own farm produce. The information book had many recommendations for walkers, for interesting visits out, and for local pubs and restaurants. We found it to be an excellent centre for visits to local National Trust properties and other places of interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Comfortable bed in nice room with good bathroom. Excellent breakfast with friendly service by owner. The view from the breakfast room was delightful- sweeping valley with beautiful trees and farm animals. Best of all was the selection of home-made conserves to eat with our toast, after full english. Very homely.

The only downside was how remote the farm was. However the owners had done everything in their power to help you find it with direction signs at every turn of the road.

Lovley setting, lots of local walks (bring wellys or hiking boots though!) , nice hosts, good breakfast, comfy bed, nice hot shower. Set on a working farm (but that doesnt disrupt) . Lovley area (but you do need a car, preferably a 4x4!!) Can recommend both the local pubs in Horsted Keys too..

Not a dislike but as per other reviews it is out of the way (a good point) but a little bit diffucult to find first time but once youve done it once its ok. Main dislike was having to go home.and go back to work..........

Twyford Farm B&B is located in a timber-framed farmhouse in a quite isolated position. Thus it is absolutely quiet, you get an excellent night's sleep. The bedroom and the bathroom are of a good size and very cosy. The cooked breakfast is great, it carries you well throughout a large part of your day. Tea-making facilities are generous, we generally felt very well looked after. Being so remote means it takes some driving along narrow country lanes before you get to Twyford Farm or to restaurants and pubs. The drive, however, is rewarded by a most comfortable stay.

Low ceilings and doorways did not cause any problems for us, but might be an issue for very tall people. For us, everything was fine.

It is a long time since I stayed in a place that rates 10/10. An opportunity to stay on a real farm in a proper B&B (i..e a proper cooked bfast is on offer). We loved our stay at Twyford Farm and will be looking for an excuse to go there again. Lovely old building, beautiful Sussex countryside and very nice hosts. What else can you ask for? The room and bathroom could only be called comfortable and very spacious. We could have stayed there longer very easily! Access is quite close to a a main road but does involve going down a small track and crossing a ford. However this is not a big deal - as mentioned in one review - so don't be put off. Indeed the access adds to the sense of really being in the countryside. We had a very nice evening meal at a very friendly pub just 10 mins drive away called the Green Man.

Breakfast was good, lovely view of the old tree and the pheasants. Even in foggy morning it was beautiful. Would enjoy another stay with better weather for exploring. Especially now we know how to find the farm. Lovely place for photography and painting.

Let you know when I think of something! Possibly better instructions for finding the farm but we should have brought our Sussex map.

Twyford Farm was a working farm set in a beautiful location the property was clean and authentic with old beams running through the room despite the age of the property it was well maintained and with the keeping of the period The interior had a lovely country theme and the hosts Were welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable

There was nothing I did not like about this stay

Great place a REAL working farm, with pigs, sheep etc. Got to feed a little lamb with a bottle of milk. The dogs were gorgeous! If you're driving don't take a lowered car! There is a ford to cross if going to the pub for dinner. The signal is a bit sketchy so sat nav may take you off course. May advise is call the B&B ahead of travel to get a few extra directions. They are so lovely and have a great giggle. Plus the pub 'The Green Man' all are fantastic too. Huge meals great price, everyone friendly and such a peaceful place to be in. 200-plus acres of the beautiful quiet English countryside! If you're driving, I would suggest bringing your own alcohol for the evening once you're back to the B&B.

GPS signal in the countryside, but that's what you expect from being in the countryside! Not the B7B's fault at all! They do have WIFI once you're there. Don't take a fancy car.. the roads are small, narrow and not friendly to a lowered vehicle lol.

The breakfast was great. Lovely breakfast room. The location is quiet, with lovely countryside walks. It's looked after by the the Countryside Restoration Trust (or something like that), so you know they are doing something worthwhile and protecting the area. The setting is very pretty and the old house has plenty of rustic charm.

Excellent location. Quiet and rural. A selection of eateries within a short drive. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating Cooking an early breakfast so that we could attend our event on time. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and bright. Bed really comfy.

Beware some local roads are very narrow but the host will give good directions to avoid them.
