Losehill Hotel is a wonderful place to stay, the food was great and the room really lovely. The view from the Jacuzzi was amazing, just made uncomfortable as always people waiting for you to get out.

Spa facilities, why not have an extra jacuzzi instead of Sauna as other guests always hanging about waiting for you to finish. Also steps down to lawn a little dangerous, which explained why no member of staff bothered to come and ask if we wanted another drink?

Rooms were clean and bright and housekeeping was of a high standard.Do ask for a room with a view of the countryside and if you are tall ask for a king size bed. Book your 1 hour slot for the pool/steam room/sauna/hot tub before your stay-Number capped at 7.

Room was a little tired decor 1980ish and although a king size room standard double bed in our room.Room was very warm but easily remedied by opening the window -this being Derbyshire usually no need for air conditioning!

The food was very good and the service was excellent. The Sauna was very good.

There was a wedding with family making the experience a little less private. The hot tub should be larger given the size of the hotel.

Nathan the waiter was absolutely superb throughout the stay, what an asset you have with him. We ordered Prosecco and he even searched for us to deliver it by the pool. His service at dinner was top shelf as nothing was too much for him, just overall so polite. He made our visit!

The welcome was poor. We arrived through the door and the person at the reception was occupied with something (which is ok). We approached and stood by the desk for a moment and the first thing the lady said was ‘how can I help?’ Which is fine but with luggage and just walking through the door it’s not hard to start a welcome with ‘hi, checking in I presume, how was your journey, is there an occasion your staying with us etc etc. but there none of that. It was like we had to explain and then ask a lot of questions to get basic information that we should have been told as a check in script almost. In hospitality first impressions are so important and this area needs improving. Especially with how nice the place is and the cost ppl are paying etc.

The spa was great. Location was great. Experience was great. Staff were helpful.

The drinks at the spa were really expensive. £6.60 for 2 orange juices which were sometimes served warm. The food on offer was limited for dinner and none of it was to our taste. Squid ink was on the menu.

Service was slow in the restaurant, I ordered at 7.45pm, arrived at just before 9pm. This was not the waitresses but the kitchen.

Losehill house is set in a beautiful location. It's distance from the main road means you can appreciate the surroundings of the Peak District in peace and quiet. Our room was room 10 and it was amazing. Everything about the room was great and the bathroom was excellent. We used all of the spa facilities and enjoyed them all, especially the hot tub on the terrace. The dinner was excellent and my only comment would be that another vegetarian option would be welcomed. The breakfast was also brilliant. We had a great stay.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Restaurant is excellent. I recommend booking directly with them though, cheaper and staff are very helpful.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with amazing views of the Peak District. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent.

Lovely hotel set in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly, our room very comfortable, and our dining experiences for both breakfast and dinner were excellent with a delicious and varied menu.
