We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Newhall Mains. The ambiance was peaceful and elegant, making us feel right at home. The luxurious fabrics and furniture added a stylish touch to the overall atmosphere. The service we received was friendly and excellent, ensuring that all our needs were met. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the outstanding food. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, leaving us craving for more. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly impressed us. The comfort of the beds was exceptional, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with beautiful classical music playing softly in the background, creating a soothing and relaxing environment. Unfortunately, we arrived with the flu and had to cancel our pre-booked dinner at the resident restaurant. However, the staff at Newhall Mains were incredibly understanding and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They prepared a delicious onion soup for us to enjoy in our rooms, along with a comforting Hot Toddy to help us feel better. Their thoughtfulness and care made a significant difference in our overall experience. We are already looking forward to returning to Newhall Mains in the future. It is a place that truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We were a family of 6 and I can't stress enough just how beautiful the whole estate is. The lodge we were in has been tastefully and carefully restored perfectly. Thee living room is built around a log burner that felt extra cosy in the cold winter night! The beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, glasses, pots etc. I'd certainly recommend New Hall Main to anybody looking for a slice of luxury, in a gorgeous part of the world.

While almost everything was perfect, i have to say that I think the breakfasts need beefing up a little bit. A full Scottish breakfast needs to be a plate full and has to have some haggis, maybe even some hashbrowns/potato scones and some beans. The plates felt a little empty for my liking (but this could also be because I eat like a pig :D)

There was nothing we did not like NM is a boutique, very comfortable hotel in a rural setting Staying there is rather like visiting family. It's important to set expectations of dining options in this context [food yummy, choice understandably small]

The property was phenomenal! Beautiful location. Beautiful decoration. Food was delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Inverness area. Great location to Dunrobin Castle and Glenmorangie Distillery.

everything, from the location to the cleanliness to the food but above all the courtesy of the staff: during a day in which I had a bad fever they did their utmost in 1000 ways to make me feel better and provide me with everything I needed. exceptional service, exceptional people.

Beautiful luxury stay. Quiet and very comfortable.

Couple of things we expected were missing - no snacks in the room despite being advertised in the notice in the bedroom and no bread with dinner. Small touches that make for a 5 star review.

The interior design here is top notch - you’d be hard pressed to find better in London or Bath. The restaurant was of equally high standard. A perfect getaway.

The continental breakfast was lovely but we had worked up a bigger appetite.

A very lush stay in a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and comfortable as was the rest of the property. Quiet setting with a stunning little courtyard. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Everything was exceptional!

Wow! What a beautiful place indeed! Absolutely top end luxury and worth so much more in price. Super clean, exquisite toiletries and refreshments on offer. The bed was divine and huge and we had a super sleep with wonderful pillows and quilts. Super soft thick towels and a stunning double shower! A very relaxing place to stay but quite remote. Thank you so much! The room was amazing! The breakfast was lovely although we would have liked to see more choice rather than to choose from Options.

Evening food was not available or drinks at the bar when we arrived and with the place being quite isolated, we had to drive out to eat the other side of the isle meaning we couldn't really have a drink with our evening meal. We felt this really let the hotel down. It would have been beautiful to have a coffee from the bar and sat outside in the sunshine. But this is minor in comparison to how beautiful Newhall Mains is. We can't wait to be back to see how you have grown!

Truely a magical experience! We want to thank Euan and the team specifically for being such amazing hosts! The little details and touches make this place so special. We travelled for my birthday and although we caused an inconvenience for the team in the middle of the night, Euan couldn’t have handled the situation better. We hope you will have us as again soon.
