Had a wonderful stay! Liz and company were great. My husband and I stayed for a full week at the beginning of April, and we found the Harbour Inn to be a great base of operations for exploring Northern Ireland. Easy to get in and out of the town with our rental car, and free parking. We also took advantage of the train station just being a 4 min walk down the road and we used that to get to Belfast. You can also walk to several restaurants. The Inn is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Liz and family provide great recommendations, and make some amazing French press coffee in the morning. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying here again.

Perfect location for ferry, as well being a short walk to the train station for direct train to Belfast, and drive access to the Antrim Coast Road. Liz was very friendly and welcoming, with lots of suggestions and tips for things to do and getting around. The local pub, Olderfleet, was great for dinner and a drink. Good communication in lead up to our stay with Liz. Free, on street parking out the front of the B&B. Small, clean, cosy room on top floor with ensuite. Excellent breakfast included with a number of options including continental and cooked breakfast, tea, coffee and juice. Served in large dining room on ground floor.

Visited Larne to watch our team play a football match, there weren't many guest houses in the town but we are glad we stayed here. It is right by the ferry port which my son thought was fascinating watching them load, unload and turn around! This b&b itself is just lovely, it's obviously a quite historic property and has loads of lovely original features including a beautiful grand staircase, From the outside it looks small but inside it is huge, it is very deceptive. The landlady takes a lot of pride in keeping the place spotlessly clean and she is very helpful giving local tips on transport and places to eat. The rooms have all the comforts you need. Breakfast was just what we had hoped for as we wanted to try an 'Ulster Fry' with soda bread etc, and we got to have this. I have to give it a 10 out of 10.
No complaints at all!

The owner, Liz, made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Nothing was a problem. We were catching the 8am ferry to Cairnryan the next morning and Liz got up and cooked our breakfast at 6.30! She recommended the Olderfleet pub for dinner and it was delicious. The B & B couldn’t be in a better location for catching the P & O ferry as it is adjacent to the harbour. We literally just drove up the street and straight into the ferry terminal. Would stay there again if we ever get back to Larne
The weather could have been better, but Liz had no control over that 😁

Location was close to an excellent pub and to the train station. Liz is an excellent host, providing great recommendations, friendly & welcoming. Everything was very clean with little homely additions throughout - unique themed decor; flowers and ornaments. Liz is obviously a very house proud lady. The room was cosy and warm, bathroom ensuite has been recently renovated, beds very comfortable. Liz provided a great Full Irish breakfast in the morning to get our day off to the best start. We felt welcome and at home.
The building is an older style (which is fine) and the timber floor was a little noisy to walk on - but that might be due to my 120Kg moving around!!

Very handy for the ferry to Scotland - it docks right outside! But also handy for the ring road to head out of Larne and explore other areas of Northern Ireland. Lovely walks along the coast/promenade. The host was excellent - her kindness was really appreciated. Unusually we were able to stay for breakfast which was gorgeous - generous and tasty. Lovely comfortable room. If you want to know anything about best places to eat etc - just ask Liz.

Very clean and comfortable. The host was so helpful. We arrived at 9:30am on a Sunday when everything was closed until 1pm - she had looked into where we could go to unwind (the leisure centre café). We went into Belfast and it was gone 9pm when we eventually checked in and she was welcoming and friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. Also, having Netflix on the telly was a bonus - which sounds trivial, but as we were exhausted being able to relax with something familiar was the cherry on top.
The shower was a little lacking BUT that’s not unusual in these sorts of B&Bs so really wasn’t a problem.

The B&B was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service from Elenor and her partner. The rooms were spotlessly clean, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail was remarkable and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. They went beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, always available to assist with any request or inquiry. Overall, our experience at this accommodation was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We were heading for the early ferry boat, so couldn't avail of breakfast (which is rather tasty but wife couldn't face food just before sailing!) Kindness of host meant a lot to us both - she was lovely to my wife. Room was really comfortable, well laid out, spotless bathroom as always and the bed was great - I slept like a log :-D Very handy location for going for a walk, especially along the promenade.
Nothing.

We stayed there for a night to catch an early ferry and it was excellent for that purpose as we had to drive for only a couple of minutes to the check in. It is a comfortable B&B and we found the double bed more comfortable than it looked. The owner made us very welcome and offered breakfast at 0615, before our early ferry, although it is not usually served until 0700. There is a good pub about 100 metres away, where we enjoyed a very good pub meal in the evening. Given that the B&B is close to a commercial port, the outlook is not scenic. For our purose of catching the ferry without any hassle, the Harbour Inn was excellent and we would stay there again.
As we stayed there for ease of catching an early ferry, and not for the views or good restaurant, there were no disappointments. The gastropub 100 metres away was an unexpected bonus.
