I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before. The rooms are nice but the main attraction for me is the pool and jacuzzi. The location and parking are great also.
Couldn’t get a G&T drink at 12.45am. 4 guys on reception and none of them could make a G&T- it was only bottles of beer or wine and you had to pay £4 and have them deliver to you as room service. A central high end hotel like that and they couldn’t do it?!! Come on Crown Plaza Liverpool- get your act together!

Good location, great breakfast, nice swimming pool, helpful staff, generally comfortable stay
Would benefit from a refurb to make the place feel more special and elevate the experience - decor and fittings a bit dated, and also in need of some tlc eg door in our bathroom room rotten at the base, plastic bath side panel cracked. Quite hot in the room without air con, but noisy with it switched on. Windows don’t open which is always annoying

Reception and restaurant staff extremely pleasant, very nice. Breakfast delicious. Use of leisure facilities. Comfy bed.
Shower not great. The fact that I had paid in full upfront and yet a £50 deposit was required. Although refunded on check out, it’s a lot to assume a person has that additional money. They could be a single parent who has already saved up for the trip itself and didn’t have much left.

Spectacular location, clean large rooms, great friendly helpful staff, delicious fresh breakfast buffet, no problem getting plant milk and hot choc for the room (just ask) good hours for kids to access the small but nice swimming pool (8am-8pm). Our waterside view didn't disappoint...the docks, the river (watched the Mersey river cruise ferry go back n forth), one of the Liverbirds on the beautiful Liverbird Building, and one of the largest Cunard cruise ships, Queen Anne, pulled up in front on our last morning! Incredible.
Not necessarily the hotels fault but guests ignore the no smoking signs outside the entrance so every time we entered or left it was yuck. The door man was sweet but maybe he could have stopped them? The male changing room was undergoing works so was shut. Meant changing in room and going through the hotel wet, in robes. Got used to it but not ideal. Also only a few loungers poolside and of course other guests 'reserved with towels and bags so couldn't relax. The poolside showers were a bit grim. Why someone would take a box of melon chunks to eat and leave on the side I have no idea! We booked as a family of 3 but the room only set for 2, apart from 3 mugs. Our son quickly ate the 2 chocs that were laid out for us!😄 Asked for more robes, and cans of water on second night. Came quickly

booking in staff were really helpful when I had an issue with my card ,
conflicting information regarding when I could park my mobility scooter, Restaurant staff also gave conflicting information we were booked in for half board , however I asked about paying extra for the Plaza menu no issues on the second day however on the 3rd day we were told it was not possible until I informed them that we had been told we could do this and pay extra if needed . Also despite being told I had a nut allergy I was served cheese and crackers and only after I had concerns about the crackers I was informed after checking they may contain nuts, this was not picked up at the time of serving and I was given bread instead.

All the staff were excellent, professional friendly and went way beyond and above they are a credit to the hotel and the staff themselves would be one of the reasons I would return. The food was excellent, and good quality . Very good breakfast one of the best I’ve had for this kind of hotel , plenty of choice , hot , fresh and good quality produce .
I found the beds , there were two doubles in each room we found them to be more 3/4 beds and a bit small . There was one chair at the table no comfy chair and only one bedside cabinet in the middle and also the lack of fridge all these made the room feel a little sparse. However very clean and everything was stocked up with plenty of towels . We found the pool facilities a little basic and tired giving it more a public swimming pool vibe . However overall would we stay again yes certainly , but potentially look if you had a room better suited for a couple .

It's a modern hotel with it's own car park. It's situated on Princess Dock with some of the rooms facing the River Mersey or the beautiful Liver building (our room faced the road and a church). The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. There was a bath/shower with towels and shampoo, body wash hand wash etc. There was the usual tea/ coffee facilities. We only stayed two nights but the cleaners replenished our used towels, toilet rolls, tea coffee etc after the first night. The breakfast was self service buffet style with full English or cereal, fruit, juices etc, The staff were all friendly, especially Janet on the desk. It's a lovely walk along the docks.
The car parking was expensive @ £19 a night for residents and £25 for non residents. It's quite a walk into the City centre where Lime Street station is, we got lost the first time!

Me & my son a massive liverpool fan stayed for 2 days on our 1st trip to liverpool. It was one of his birthday treats, we had a long trip but were very excited. On arrival the reception staff were so welcoming and friendly in particular benjamin. They up graded our room which was perfect & left a lovely welcome card with free desert & ice cream for one very happy birthday boy. The location was stunning right by the river and near to all the local attractions and sights. The anfield tour was amazing. The swimming pool was also lovely as well as the reception staff. One of the nicest cities we've been too people so friendly and the service exceptional everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel and liverpool as a destination to visit. We will be back again next year. A big thank you to all the staff
Nothing everything was spot on for us

The staff were so friendly, the place was spotlessly clean, the food was top notch, and the location was perfect, right next to the Liver Building. The pool area was also lovely. The rooms were quite spacious, the towels were quite luxurious and there were even bathrobes in the wardrobe.
It's such a small thing and seems petty, but the only thing we didn't like was the shower set up in our bathroom. The shower head is not detachable, and the toiletries and handle are in the way when trying to shower because they are on the wall opposite the shower screen. There's no reason why they can't be put farther down the wall. At one point, I jammed my finger between the screen and the handle when opening the screen door as we had left it to drip over the bath. However, this, in no way, took anything away from our stay here, and we would definitely stay here again.

When we first entered the building the first thing I said to my husband was how clean it smelled. The receptionist was friendly, explained everything we needed to know and answered questions in great detail . We usually eat out and very rarely use the food facility's when we stay away in hotels but the meal we had one evening in the resturaunt was out of this world so we were both extremely pleased we had chosen to dine there that evening. So much so we had breakfast the followimg morning and we were thrilled with the service and options available. Can I just also mention that the very charming gentlemen that welcomes people through the doors smile is enough to brighten anybodies day! Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay. We will most certainly be back!
The only fault I would have with the room is pur windows didn't open.
