We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Our room on the second floor was easy to get to. The room was fresh and clean, it could have done with redecorating, but as the hotel was in the process of redecoration, it wasn't a problem. Tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer on request. Paid extra for breakfast, but it was well worth it. Good choices, the full English was amazing, and it was definitely worth the money.

To be honest, there wasn't really anything we didn't like. Unfortunately for us, when we booked it was it was February half term, and the hotel wasn't doing evening meals until the summer. Oh, and the bed wasn't comfortable. It actually felt I was falling out all the time, almost as if the bed was not level. But we made it work for us.

It was really good value for money wish we could have gone out onto the balcony Really friendly staff every time we left or come in Really comfy bed and lovely place right by plenty of shops and the beach The only thing I would have asked for better would have been maybe the tv directly in front of the bed and a stronger WiFi connection but other than that it’s been perfect for how much it cost I wish I could have tried the included breakfast but my girlfriend doesn’t like eating early on in the morning

The balcony is about it and the tv being placed on one side rather than down the middle but thats hardly a complaint I stayed for 6 days and it was really nice

Lovely staff that went above and beyond for us, very polite and kind members of staff. The room was lovely and clean, bathroom was modern and nice! Accessible at the back entrance, lift was fully working and the breakfast was superb. The waitress in the dining room was kind and polite, can’t fault this hotel and will definitely be staying again and recommending it to friends. I stayed with my 3 year old autistic son, and the staff were supportive and kind. Staff member even helped lift the pram up the stairs in the front entrance then told us about the accessible entrance at the rear. I honestly wish I could give it 100 stars. Thank you so much for your help during our stay

It was perfect, nothing I can say

There was a friendly welcome and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was fine and consisted of a choice of three cereals and fruit juice, followed by a cooked to order breakfast from a long list of options which was served with toast and tea or coffee. The bedding was all comfy, the room was plenty large enough and the big soft chairs facing out to sea were a nice touch. This isn't a top end luxury hotel, but it had everything we needed including a perfect location for the event we were attending, was good value for the price we paid and we'd be happy to stay here again if we come back to Llandudno.

The hotel felt partially refurbished with some new carpets etc. but some other areas, including the building's facade, were looking worn and tired. A painter was at work during our stay and the owners are clearly investing money in upgrades piece by piece around what is a Victorian era building that will need a fair bit of maintenance.

Hotel is a old style seaside B&B, lots of flights of stairs (bear in mind if you have mobility issues) and the rooms are small but clean. Our bathroom had been modernised (I presume the other rooms were the same). We opted for the Seaview room and wasn't disappointed, especially as it was a lovely day. The location is perfect, far enough away from the pier that it's quiet and out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to. The carpark is compact, plenty of spaces but would be tight when the carpark is full. Finding reception directly from the rear carpark is a little bit of a maze, following arrows but not a real problem unless you had lots of suitcases. It's a great little cheap stay on the main front.

My only minor gripe was the smell of polish sausage around the place. I think it wafted up the service elevator that was next to our room. Smell would seem to linger in certain places around the hotel.

Rooms are well equipped good size shower with two types of shower heads. Room has radiator which you can adjust yourself, great for drying out after rain storms. Bed comfortable. Tea and coffee in rooms. Breakfast was excellent, cereal, fruit juices and yoghurts and a large English breakfast or choose from list also of your favourites also given choice of how you want eggs cooked. All cooked fresh. Staff friendly and they have a lift. Also some free parking at back of hotel

Pillow was a little hard unusual as they are good quality pillows maybe need a larger pillow case. Front door locked at 11am so need to go round back as door open till 1pm

Everything went well from checking in to checking out - couldn't fault anything really. The staff were absolutely wonderful, they go out of their way to ensure their guests are happy and comfortable - nothing was too much trouble at all.

Whilst the hotel was very good, it could do with some maintenance on it. Skirting boards could do with painting, the carpet on the stairs was past its best and was threadbare in parts. That said, I do believe the hotel will be renovated in the New Year so, depending on their plans, I imagine that in time to come it will be an excellent hotel with a higher rating.

Really good location, stayed here more than once. Beds are always very comfy. Really nice and helpful staff and free parking.

The parking is quite tight, but not an issue for a good driver like me. The lift wasn’t working at the time, but this was being fixed at the time, so the stairs was the only option, a good workout for the legs. The room we stayed in had a dodgy window (Was pending some repairs) so the wind was absolutely terrifying at night, but I held myself together and focused on happy thoughts for 2 nights. But in all honesty these were minor little things, the positives far outweigh these points.

Location was excellent. If you arrive early enough, you can get a parking space which is super handy given the volume of cars on the street. The room was comfortable and clean. The owners are clearly trying to invest in the place.

It's not a dislike, but an observation that the same lady seems to do all the work. She's there cleaning the rooms and up at daybreak, and still there locking up at 11pm. I wonder if she got a break! Really lovely too. The lift wasn't working which for us wasn't an issue. They did offer to help us with our bags which was nice but for older and less mobile guests, the lack of lift could be an issue. Judging by some of the previous comments this wasn't a new issue.
