I did NOT like the restaurant that was open to the public, very unfriendly staff and the food was subpar. I loved the bar and staff inside the hotel.

The restaurant that is accessed from the street outside the hotel. The staff was definitely focused on clients with reservations and were not flexible with hotel guests at all. In fact, I left because the hostess wanted to seat me in the dark section of the restaurant rather than at a sunny table. I presume the restaurant is NOT owned by Conrad since the disparity in service level was quite stark.

Location was great, concierge staff were very helpful, restaurant manager very attentive.

Check in process left a lot to be desired, had to wait 4 hours to get a room, with unhelpful staff bordering on rude.Breakfast was good but policy of making you pay extra if you ask for anything other than cheese in your omelette was a bit ridiculous especially as I paid extra for breakfast.

Genuinely friendly staff and very helpful, a warm welcome with a glass of bubbles. An unexpected upgrade which was really appreciated for our wedding anniversary along with chocolates and wine, a really special touch. A great location for visiting London and shopping.

Hubby said he would have liked to see more of a range of hot breakfast in the executive lounge rather than just bacon or just sausages :)

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location, you won’t be disappointed if you stay here. The room we had was beautiful, clean and with a very comfortable bed. staff were professional and welcoming. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had - superb. the Christmas special cocktails were also spot on (whoever came up with the proof is in the pudding was a genius!)

Amazing experience from day one till departure. Extremely professional service at the front desk, lounge room and at breakfasts. You feel you are in 5* hotel, truly. Clean rooms, very good, daily housekeeping. Comfortable beds. We will definitely come back there.

Blue Boar's pub service could be better. We have waited for too long to be served (no need as the service charge is added to your bill anyway). Waitressses having chit-chat at the bar, not noticing our presence. At some point a bartender picked up our table as he saw we were about to leave. Meales are delicious though. Also, breakfast selection could be more diversed. Having full english breakfast every day is not enough. There is a la carte option, but charged extra.

All the staff are exceptional, a true pleasure communicating with them. We booked a 2 room double with rollaway bed in the sitting room, large space and true to specified size. Comfortable beds; His and Her basin bathroom which was spacious and sparkling clean. We took advantage of the lounge access and although busy on the Saturday, table, food and drinks were readily available served by professional staff. Great choice of food at breakfast. St James's Tube station is across the street but Victoria is 12 mins walk. Walk to The Mall/Trafalgar Square or Embankment in under 20minutes.

It's a pity there is nothing like Nicholini's of Conrad HKG at this hotel as I couldn't find the London dining experience locally but taxis were easily available.

The staff were outstanding! excellent customer service. They clearly are highly trained. The inclusive Full English Breakfast with either an option from the a la carte menu or extensive buffet were well worth the money. Access to the executive lounge was also worth including on our trip with 24 hour access to espresso, tea, sodas and snacks. An expanded continental breakfast along with light afternoon tea service - sandwiches, cookies and cheeses as well as even canapés with cocktails wine and beer were wonderful. Lovely well appointed rooms and directly across the street from St James station (underground train)

Our room had very limited natural daylight.

Spacious and modern with good bathroom facilities. Bed very comfortable

Not a suitable area for my wife to blow dry her hair. There should be a mirror with suitable lighting and plug in the main body of the room - obviously designed by a man!

The welcome at reception was nothing short of exceptional, incredibly attentive, warm and friendly. We were offered a glass of sparkling wine and walked to the elevator by a member of staff. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous and spotless. Very good AC, nice coffee and tea in the room plus a fridge with complimentary water. The food at breakfast was very nice also with a large selection available. Fantastic location right opposite the tube. Beautiful hotel bars and restaurants, the decor is stunning.

Our carpet was covered in large dark stains. For a five star hotel that was quite shocking, but we were tired so didn't complain about it. A shame as it made the room feel mucky. There wasn't really anywhere suitable to do hair/make up other than the bathroom which I found frustrating. There's one full length mirror but it's partially blocked by the bathroom door. Whilst I feel the waiters were doing their best at breakfast, it took about 25 minutes to get two slices of toast, and everyone was so busy that it was really hard to even get a coffee as they aren't self service. The Bluetooth option on the TV didn't seem to work, we had some problems with the WiFi initially but that got sorted. The phone in the room also didn't work so we couldn't call reception.
