Nice room, the receptionist had read my email and allocated us an easy access ground floor room. Unexpected bottle of Prosecco in the room plus treats both nights in recognition of the King’s Coronation.

The Dukes Bar - it’s run by a different company. One of the waiters was very surly and as though he was doing customers a favour for being there. He said we could have a table but he wanted it back by 4.30, moaned that they’ll be abandoning the dress code - we were all in smart casual clothes but tbh 30 mins after the Royals were on the balcony we and I sure nobody else wanted or needed to get fully changed so they could enjoy a drink.

The bar at Duke's is second to none. It's a joy to watch the staff prepare a cocktail, and this is where Ian Fleming's Vesper cocktail was born, so it's a must (just not more than two or you'll be on the floor!) Duke's is tucked away in a side street, so it's quiet, but in walking distance of Piccadilly circus and The Mall. The staff, as you'd expect, are friendly and attentive, and it has the feel of a small hotel. Rooms are traditionally, but luxuriously furnished, and pretty spacious, and breakfast was excellent - fresh orange, leaf tea, etc. I had mine in my room and there were little details like flowers on the tray.

It's an expensive place to stay, so you expect everything to be spot on, which it is for the most part. Some little extra touches in the room would be good though. The minibar could be filled as a matter of course rather than asking for it. Some fruit would be nice, fresh flowers, etc. Little details that don't cost a lot but elevate a stay at a 5* hotel. And it may not be very environmentally friendly, but to be able nick the little soaps and shampoos is one of the pleasures of staying in a hotel! But you can't when there aren't any :-)

we was on the 4th floor and it was very quiet. when we got back from the concert we really needed a drink. but due to the bar already being closed they offered to still get it for us. but we realised when checking out that the service charge was actually more expensive than the drinks. but was a lovely hotel and the staff were lovely

This hotel is Fantastic! Location is Perfect for shopping, show and for seeing all the Prime touristy spots. The staff is so kind and made my birthday breakaway so special for me. Our room got upgraded and was spoiled with beautiful card, cake and Bubbly. Friends met us at the Restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic! I will come back again and again. Thank you so much Syline and Duke staff for make this trip unforgettable

The staff are very welcoming. This was a 30th wedding anniversary and what was nice was the unexpected champagne in the room along with a hand written card. My wife really appreciated this touch. The staff in the restaurant (especially Musa) was very friendly and approachable even if was plainly clear to see that they needed more staff at the breakfast sitting. The question you have to ask yourself is would i return? ANSWER: Without exception.

Very little. Because of the hotels discreet position there are very little views to be had. However, you are right in the heart of central London.

Beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and were great with kids. The location was great for Mayfair. Rooms were clean and tended to regularly.

Admittedly this could have been our fault for not raising it with the staff in time, having been so tired to go to sleep but the air conditioning unit was either broken or not working correctly as it was super noisy (to the point of needing earplugs to get any sleep) and the temperature dipped to 17C at night so woke us up. We would stay again if that was fixed.

Fantastic location in Mayfair, quiet side street, close to underground , Picadilly,Soho, covent Gardens, Palace etc all easy walk. Good size room and bathroom.

Matress, joining two singles to make a double in a 5* hotel ?. "Optional" service charge. Staff were great and deserving, but this should be explained on booking, especially when prepaid.

I thought £84 for breakfast was rather a lot for 2 coffees followed by egg on toast and 1 glass of juice. We would give the breakfast a miss next time, at the time we had no idea that this was the cost until we paid, we had already paid almost £400 for the 1 night which was mid-week

This place is beautiful & elegant down to the smallest detail. The staff was warm and always attentive to you needs. We went here for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make us feels special and comfortable. I was absolutely dazzled from the moment we walked in.

There is nothing not to like about this property. Its located within walking distance to everything you’d want to see or do in the heart of London.
