The room was beautiful and quite large with a seating area and a separate closet and entry space. It had a gorgeous marble bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Despite being central, this was on a quiet and safe street and very close to a tube station.

We arrived in the afternoon after check-in time and departed before check-out. We did not make any requests or utilize any services. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We were still asked to pay a service fee at check-out. When we inquired what it was for, we were told that it was for employee tips. Personally, I think hotels should be paying employees proper wages and not be asking guests to supplement their income. We are happy to tip employees for services or pay a hotel's mandatory fees that are disclosed ahead of time but not this. The fee was removed by the front desk agent without argument.

Good price for such a good location

We were asked if we wanted to pay a discretionary service charge of £8.35 when we checked out. We did, but only because it took us by surprise. We didn't have breakfast and (unless I'm mistaken) there wasn't a bar or at least we didn't use or see one so, having already paid for the room, I'm not really sure what justifies this service charge?

Great Location - walking distance to Paddington Station as well as Hyde Park. Book a suite - spacious enough for two adults and two babies including a travel cot. Room was attractive and clean. Yes, the bathroom was a little small with an odd access to bath but still managed to bath two babies in there. Staff were all very polite and accommodating. We had a txt when the room was ready and a lady showed direct to our room. We also left luggage on arrival and departure while we explored London for the Christmas festivities.

We didn’t book breakfast due to the reviews however it did look decent for the price and not busy on a Monday morning. You can hear the Tube underground but realistically it didn’t effect our stay and even the two babies slept through it.

Location was excellent. 2minute walk from Bayswater station. Very clean and attentive staff. Bed was extremely comfortable and got great nights sleep.

We booked a Junior Suite and to access the rest of the hotel, we had to vacate and walk along outside of hotel to enter via main entrance. Booking a Junior Suite, we expected it to be reasonably spacious, not the case with this room and certainly not same as booking.com photos. Sofa was at door as soon as you entered suite and door could not fully open, which was shocking. This was merely a double bedroom with a sofa placed in a ridiculous location and a small table and two chairs, no ironing board or iron. TV kept disconnecting from WiFi. Maybe this is the new norm, I don’t know, but we were asked by the hotel reception, when checking out, if we wanted to basically leave a tip!

We basically had a great stay. Perfect location - really very good! Whether bus, Circle or Central Line. Great rooms Will definitely be back! Very nice staff

One drawback: our heating didn't work, but we immediately got the best one who heated the room extremely well. The WhatsApp service was very helpful here and a member of staff came straight away. We probably had some problems with the hot water due to the broken heating, or rather there was a trick with a lever next to the toilet... As soon as it slipped, the water stopped. We also had to switch on the washbasin a bit to get the water really hot. We realised this when the employee explained everything and turned on the tap himself. Too bad about the waste of water but we hope it was only because of the heating

It is just 5 mins walk to Bayswater station and 10 mins to Queensway underground. A lot of food along the street - the Malaysian restaurant opposite the hotel is amazing. Hotel is clean and spacious until we have to open the sofa bed cos we are traveling as 1 adult and 2 kids. Great to have bottled water everyday and my room had a nice bath tub.

Our door feels like some is trying to open it from outside after it’s closed when anyone along the corridor open or close their room door throughout our stay.

Phenomenal location, near Hyde park (5min walk), and also near Bayswater and also Queensway underground station, 15to 20 mins walking to Paddington station (Heathrow Express). Buggy friendly. Kind staff, spacious rooms , pretty quiet area. Great shopping nearby (Boots, Tesco Express) and so many restaurants at the doorstep while also being in the quieter area. Super comfy beds and a lot of room on the couch for the kid to sleep in (we had junior suite). A lot of space to walk around. Comfy carpet on the floor. Plenty of outlets. Will stay there again.

There was a little bit of noise from time to time from the other rooms (draft when someone else closes doors , elevator etc) but it was really soft and easy to manage. Water pressure in the shower, very hard to keep the water out while showering (walk in shower). Breakfast area is pretty small in case other 5 families come at the same time and there are not too many options.

The hotel was really comfortable. Very clean and meticulously arranged. We got complimentary tea and coffee sachets, and there was an empty fridge in the room where we could store drinks and food. The bathroom was nice, very modern, with a marble sink and a marble shower. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay there.

I would say the room was really small, with just enough space to manoeuvre around the bed to walk around it. But this is in the middle of London, and I can't imagine there'll be a lot of hotels with spacious beds unless it's a 5 star one or something. Also, we couldn't open the windows, but we were below ground level, so that could be the reason why. None of these felt like big issues to us.
