The hotel and staff were amazing. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again. It was my partners 60th birthday and the staff went out of there way to give us the best time. A particularl thank you to Chris. He was very professional and friendly and made us most welcome as did all the staff. The room was lovely and we were upgraded to a junior suite which was such a lovely surprise. We have stayed in many hotels all over the world. L'oscar is definitely now one of our favourites. Can't wait to come again.

Nothing. It was perfect in every way

The place is very beautiful and the staff really make you feel like you are an honoured guest. The stay was for a birthday and they prepared a lovely surprise which we did not expect! Also upgraded the room for free, which was fabulous! Service wise I think it's the best 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in.

Baptist bar was closed but I was told that beforehand. A small fitness/gym room would've been nice but it's not a big deal. Keep in mind that its a small hotel.

This was a magnificent venue. The staff was professional and fully attentive to every detail. The room was beautifully appointed, luxurious, and comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel pampered and well-served..

There was nothing to not like. Breakfast service was a bit slow and perhaps they were a bit understaffed, but the food was delicious and the servers were very gracious and as attentive as time permitted them. Dinner service was nothing less than exquisite in every way.

Perfectly located for both Covent Garden and Hatton Garden, the best two gardens in London, this is an exceptional boutique hotel. It’s dark and enveloping when you enter, it’s got a slightly dark magic / reading room vibe which is lovely. The feel of this hotel is special, and the staff are brilliant.

Maybe more vegan choices, but honestly you could say that anywhere, the vegan breakfast was great.

I was presented with the bill which included service charge and I paid it. On further enquiry it turns out this a voluntary! payment to the cleaning staff of 5 per cent. The breakfast was extremely expensive. Again no explanation of prices

Loved the atmosphere. Restaurant was terrific - unexpected bones in fish only downside there. attention to detail at its height and willing to work with customers.

location lacking and request response of hotel service lacking. the housekeeps were good, not perfect, but good.

Beautiful building. Very comfortable bed. nice tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent location right beside Holborn tube station. Easy walking to British museum and Covent Garden

It is expensive, but a great treat for a trip away

L'oscar is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in hundreds over the years and L'oscar has it all - great location, amazing staff, superb rooms, tasty food - everything was perfect.

The breakfast was £50 per person!! Maybe included the tea and coffee and juice in the full price £32 full English. Still expensive but more acceptable. Keep the reception always maned.

L'Oscar London is an absolute gem and by far one of our favourite hotels. The staff is enormously friendly and helpful, they tend to your every need and really put their best foot forward to make your stay memorable. The rooms are the definition of luxurious comfort and the location is ideal: you can walk to nearby hotspots such as Covent Garden, take the tube on the corner or stop a taxi at the entrance of the hotel.
