Location was perfect, liked the contemporary design and our room was good, nice corner room with great views. Coffee machine and fridge were great and the welcome fizz and cupcakes in the room were a nice touch.

The room was quite cold, we had to keep turning the heat on to warm it up, then it became cold again quickly. There was no mirror in the bedroom so it was very difficult to dry and style my hair and put make up on as the only mirror in the bathroom didn’t have a plug nearby and the lighting wasn’t great in the bathroom for make up.

Good staff on check in. Well equipped gym. comfortable room. Location suited us, we walked to the hotel from St Pancras station

We had a problem with Booking.com we wanted and think we booked a Executive King Room with 2 King Beds however when I printed the confirmation it had Superior Room with Super King Bed. I called booking.com within 1 hour of making the booking but it was a case of 'computer says no' we can not change the room. (the price of the rooms were the same). The Hotel staff on check in were very good and changed the room with no problem when we explained what happened

The Staff was ultra friendly and helpful in every way. Francis and Leah were exceptional, they made our stay. It was my wife’s 50th Birthday and couldn’t be any better from start to finish. The bar staff were great and the maintenance man were spot on. The Hotel was trendy and Very Clean.

The Shower to took ages to get hot, the maintenance man told us how to get it hotter quicker and to was better from that point onwards. could of had a toilet brush in our room as we don’t expect people to clean those short of things, if you get what I mean.

We spent a week here and will happily return when we're in town! The location was sublime, as were the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, pool), and the rooftop bar had great views. The bed was comfortable and big, the shower had good pressure, and the soundproof windows kept out the city sounds when we wanted. Staff were extremely helpful when we had minor issues with our room, ensuring they were fixed quickly. The bar's extensive selection made for many tempting evenings. Oh and the breakfast was incredible, great selection - fresh fruits and salads, cooked and cured meats, beans, potatos, breads galore - and the omelette chefs were all geniuses!

The bathroom was a little pokey, requiring some light door choreography to get in - bigger bodies and those with access requirements will find this a difficult space to navigate. Some lifts were out of order during our stay, and the functional lifts made suspect sounds and janky movements - illiciting mild fear from us and others guests. The main restaurant food was overpriced and underwhelming. Upon leaving we discovered mould on the back of the curtains.

The hotel decor is very modern and artistic, in line with all NYX hotels (e.g. Prague). The location is very good, within walking distance of 10-15 min. to many attractions such as Piccadilly, Oxford St., Trafalgatr, Soho, West end, Covent Garden, etc., very close to Holborn Metro and dozens of busses. Many restaurants, shops, and coffee shops all around the hotel, so you don't even have to walk more than 5 minutes... The room we took was reasonably large as we took the bigger option. The bed was comfortable, and a nice touch there were 2 free water bottles daily, plus tea, coffee, and Nespresso. Breakfast was very good with English breakfast as well as vegetable salad, Salmon, made-to-order omelets, etc. The staff was very polite and helpful. 3 points to complain about: a. very low water pressure on the top floor at least, almost to a drizzle... b. There were NO HANGERS AT ALL for used towels - which actually forced us to throw them on the floor in the smallish bathroom, and it was a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE not to mention impossible to keep them for the following days for environmental consideration. What were you thinking?? Just go out and buy some hangers and fix them to the inside of the doors. c. In the public bathrooms (floor 1 next to the breakfast place) - no toilet paper holders ??!! You have to turn around and find some behind your back! Why torture your guests? This seems in line with point b..... So, in summary - please fix those really annoying small points and you will be perfect.

Put those hangers in the bathrooms and in the toilettes!!

Very conveniently located and staff are very welcoming. We ate in the bar twice and it was excellent too. Breakfast is good. Great base for visiting all the sites museums and theatres in the middle of London.

Our room on the first floor was small and dark and the en suite tiny. The sink had a bad cracked in it. View from window not good facing the goods access. Awoke to emptying of recycling. Also noise from the internal door of corridor as well as the rumble of the under ground. Some lights in corridor not working meaning couldn't see card reader to open corridor door. Expect more considering price of the rooms which are on the high side.

We stayed at NYX for 7 nights recently for a fun week in London. We had originally booked a superior king room. Few days before our arrival, the hotel offered a suite upgrade. The offer kept getting discounted as the arrival date was getting closer and at one point, We took it. We didn’t regret it. The suite was beautiful, spacious and quiet the whole time event on week-ends. The breakfast was included and excellent, lot of options and quality. The staff was friendly And helpful. We had a couple of requests during our stay and everything was taken care immediately with a smile. Maude from guest relations wanted to chat with us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We travel a lot and this is not common, it never happens. This is a great place to stay, in central London. Holborn underground is one block away and Covent Garden is a 10 minutes walk top. We Highly recommend it.

There is an omelette station for breakfast which is a great idea. But there isn’t a proper ventilation. After breakfast your morning fresh clothes will have a kitchen smell for the rest of the day. This is a rather simple problem to address and fix. There was not enough closet for such a spacious suite, again easy to fix.

Check in/friendly welcoming staff, spa and underground pool. Cool vibe, in the spacious room, and hotel in general. Wonderfully comfy bed and high end bedding and a fab shower. Well insulated rooms so street or other guest noise was minimal. Short walk to Holborn Tube and all the major London sights we wanted to see.

Dim bathroom lighting. There was only one small towel rack which was insufficient for hanging two large wet bath towels. We couldn’t regulate the temperature - it was too warm. Lack of a full length mirror (for the ladies).The only decent mirror was behind the desk, which defeated the purpose.

Service was great - and we love good service, nice room with the things you need, the calming pool. Lovely to have a swim in the morning or in the evening in a busy city. Liked that they cared and asked us how we were doing several times. The details in the hotel/decor. The decor: Funny if you like to take pictures/instagram-stuff. An urban, playful wibe. The room was always nice and tidy. The staff we met was friendly. They arranged so that we had cake, flowers and balloon at arrival.

The wifi could have been a bit better. To be able to dim the lights at the room. But this is minor details. We have no complaints. We were taken so good care of.

Room is big enough for a family of 4 people and beds are very comfortable. Service and front desk very good. Breakfast very good and with a big choice. Swimming pool is clean and nice. Metro holborn just 5 mins walking and connected with the main lines. Area safe and with good choice or restaurants at fast food place till late. Very nice the bar/restaurant near the reception and the bar on the rooftop with music and nice view

Toilet of the room is crazy small. It's very difficult to enter and exit from the toilet. It's not a toilet good for a 4 star hotel and most probabily even for a 3 star. Shower is just enough size. In the room there is just a mini guardrobe just enough for 5/6 pieces. We were leaving all the week with the luggage open on the floor with a general mess. Also our friends in other room had exactly same problems. As understand from the front desk was no other choice in all the hotel....
