The foyer was well presented with friendly staff. Bonus is we could leave our luggage, free of charge, after we checked out to continue exploring London for the day and collect later. Water available on arrival and in the rooms provided sparkling water free of charge. The room was well equipped with iron and ironing board too. We stayed in their standard room as we weren't planning on spending much time there.

The floor boards in room 525 were squeaky in every part of the room. It wasn't a big deal for us, as we were using the room purely to sleep and get ready there but could be beneficial to the hotel to know this.

The location is excellent for the British Museum. The closest Tube station is not too far. The room was kept very clean. It is a no-frills location that is very practical. There is a good grocery store not far away. There are interesting restaurants in the area, especially Turkish, Chinese, and Indian (which we liked). The staff were helpful.

There was a major bus stop right in front so there was a lot of noise from the street. The shower is in a bathtub which has high sides that are difficult for people with limited mobility. The rooms are not spacious, so it was difficult to find a place to unpack suitcases other than on the bed. There was no one except a receptionist to help us get our luggage up about 10 steps at the entrance.

Location ,welcoming staff ,excellent breakfast and evening meals , cleanliness, just an all round brilliant hotel that suited our needs perfectly

Just being a bit picky but dining room was rather cold at times we felt too much air con. The green no room clean is a good idea but, I have stayed twice this year hung out the sticker the evening before ,but my room number was not on the list in reception, staff were amazing and still gave us the voucher, maybe this needs to be done when checking in and reception let housekeeping know then reception would have it on the system just a thought 😊

Great location, traveled from Kings Cross so easy to reach from Holborn only 2 Stops, lovely entrance, staff were quick to check us in which was great as had arrived just after 7pm and wanted to get back out, Room lovely no real issues. The bar was lovely and had a drink in there night 2, the bar staff was great, he was friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The only downside was the put me up bed in the room, I know it was necessary for the 3 of us, but the way it was positioned, it meant it was hard to drawer the curtains so had to leave them closed all weekend.

Stayed in a junior suite with family, very clean room, helpful friendly staff, good breakfast and decent meal in restaurant. Comfortable beds (despite my preexisting issues with neck/back pain) no issues with hot water or AC as other reviewers had mentioned, great location, I would recommend

No faults however on the final night I was woken at 2am by the ceiling leaking (assumed from the rain as it was near the window) and dripping onto the sofa bed i was sleeping in - had to use white noise to try and drown out the irritating dripping noise a foot away from my head - mentioned to staff the following day and hopefully this will be resolved for future guests

Breakfast was very good. Bed was very comfortable.

The plumbing in the bathroom was very sensitive, the toilet leaked often after flushing. The shower was not easy to control the temperature of the water and again was very sensitive so was not easy to switch off the water flow as it would dyatt to come out of the tap. I was on the 1st floor, it was quite noisy at times. The room was comfortable in general but I had no bedside table and no possibility near the bed to plug my fone in overnight.

A perfect hotel in a perfect location. Central location, everything is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. The hotel is very clean, tidy, neat, renovated, the staff is prepared, helpful and very, very kind. (thanks Sophia for everything!) 24-hour reception, and they are available for any questions or requests. Adequately sized, surprisingly quiet rooms, with daily cleaning and daily towel change on request. Comfortable, right-sized beds, perfect-sized pillows and good bed mattresses ensure a good night's rest. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board in the room and laundry service at the hotel on demand, so everyone can go home with clean clothes. The bathroom is very clean, comfortably sized, with many shelves and storage space. The wardrobe is the right size and has its own safe. Breakfast is varied, satisfying all needs, continental breakfast, English breakfast and daily fresh fruit, an impeccable selection of coffee and extremely friendly service. Don't miss the hotel's own restaurant and bar! It is definitely worth visiting their restaurant. Great hamburgers, sandwiches, excellent pizzas and a good atmosphere in the evening! This hotel is a real "we'll come back here again when we're in London" choice, because it's perfect in every way...and the free mineral water prepared upon arrival "saved lives" for those arriving at the room, and free lemonade and refreshments are available at the reception at any time (thanks for that!) We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone, you will not be disappointed with this!

The room was very pleasant and the breakfast had plenty of choice. The hotel is close to the theatres of Covent Garden including the Royal Opera House and not very far from the tube station at Holborn.

Everything was fine except that we discovered, after checking out, that we had left some valuables in our room safe. It was impossible to phone reception direcectly - only a general switchboard which could not put us through or pass on our concern. We did, however, manage to email the hotel and the items were secured. Guests should be aware that the bar does not accept cash.

tHE HOTEL IS EXTREMELY WELL LOCATED AND THE SIZW OF THE ROOM IS VERY GOOD. The towels are of excellent quality. Wifi (free) is OK. There is a good restaurant in the lobby that was open for Christmas. The bar is very good too. Staff is gentle and helpful.

The room is very dark, even with all available lights turned on. It would need some ceiling LED-lights. Further, it is a 5-star, but if you take the "standard room" you don't get the 5-star amenities (slippers fridge)

The room was on the quiet side of the hotel, as requested when booking. Beds & pillows very comfortable. Appreciated the hair conditioner in the bathroom, that's not always provided, but is essential for us. Breakfast had good variety of good quality. The location is excellent for walking to many theatres. The hotel is easy to get to from Heathrow by the underground to Holborn station.

Only thing I was not happy with was that I sent a question to the hotel via Booking.com a couple of days before our scheduled arrival, and it was not answered.
