March 2023

Location, comfortable clean room, helpful stuff. The Hotel is right across the metro station and a bus stop and less than 10 minutes walking to museum area and about 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park. We had a corner room looking the metro station which was awesome cause our toddler just sit and watch the people walking and eat by the window. Room is clean with a kettle, tea, coffee available if you want. we didn’t get breakfast but when you cross the street there is Paul with tasty sandwiches and some other places.

There are 6-7 steps to get to the Hotel no ramps or nothing. it is pretty hard with a stroller. There is going to be a big construction starting soon right across the Hotel. we were there on March 2023 and the building was empty and they were going to take it down which was at least 20 levels. So when they start it might be noisy.

We stayed at Classic Double Room for 7 nights. An elegant and cosy hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, just opposite to the Gloucester Road Station, very convenient. Cafes, restaurants, Tesco Express and Boots are nearby. Nice buffet breakfast and the on-site restaurant offers various Asian food (Chinese, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, etc). Provides bottled water daily. A good base to explore Kensington and London. Highly recommended!!

Housekeeping: services provided vary daily. Sometimes good but sometimes forget to refill teabags/toilet rolls, or clean used glasses/cups etc. Aircon filter: very dirty and full of dust.

The location is really expectation. Gloucester Road station is literally less than a minute away and sits on the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines - making it really easy to explore central London. V&A and Natural History Museums are all within a 10-12 minute walk. Area is very safe, even late at night. There’s a Tesco and a row of fast food/affordable restaurants nearby for any late-night snacking as well It’s also the final station in zone 1, meaning the price isn’t as crazy as something in Knightsbridge, and you still get great value out of it. Rooms are alright, nothing fancy but has everything you need. Room service and house keeping are thorough and accommodating.

The hotel location is excellent. We flew from Pague via Heathrow and used the tube from airport to Gloucester Rd station. The hotel is across the road. Also close to great pub and Tesco. Easy to then use tube for access to parts of London for sightseeing. Friendly staff and excellent facilities.

We were given an upgraded room however on first night the air-conditioning gave off a loud humming sound similar to being in a plane. We complained as soon as we arrived as knew it would be an issue but due to being fully booked, we could not change rooms on the first night. They managed the fix the issue to following day however it caused my wife to not sleep. Whilst it was fixed, they did not appear concerned and gave no compensation for poor first night which was disappointing. The remainder of the stay was great.

Comfortable rooms and welcoming. Location is very convenient for the West End.

Rooms were very warm, but you can open the windows (a rarity in a hotel). It is expensive for travellers not used to London prices.

I always find myself staying at The Bailey’s Hotel when I’m London. the location is superb. Right in front of Gloucester Road Tube Station. There are a variety of places to eat just a few steps from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are super friendly … they are now my friends.

Nothing that I can think of! If there is one thing I can say, is that the room service menu used to have more variety. The last time I stayed, it seemed to have more Thai/ Asian food options. I prefer burgers, Italian chicken and pizza (more comfort food). With the restaurants just a stone’s throw away, wasn’t a big deal for me personally.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, helped with the luggage brought it up to the room, clean room, with good air conditioning which was gladly welcomed, beautiful features throughout the hotel. Very convenient for the centre of London as it’s over the road from Gloucester Station, although next to a busy road couldn’t hear much noise on a night time. The cocktail’s at the bar, although expensive were lovely. Would stay again.

First thing we did when we got in the room was make a cuppa tea but the UHT milk pods were off, which isn’t good for a 4 star hotel, however when I rang the reception someone came up within 5 minutes with some fresh ones. When booking the room it does state dressing gowns in the room but there wasn’t any in our room!!

The hotel is located directly across the street from Gloucester Road Tube Station, which has a direct train to Heathrow terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the Piccadilly line. The station has an elevator so you are okay with your luggage. There are nice restaurants, cafes, parks and stores all around the hotel. Everything you need is a 5-10 minute walk. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The hotel staff are so kind and lovely. The housekeeping staff were also great. The room was so clean and homey. I loved it there. The hotel can be maze-like, but once you figure it out you are good. After check out, the hotel kept my luggage for free until late in the afternoon, as my flight was at night. This will be my go-to hotel in London from now on.

Nothing really, loved it. Perhaps more light fittings in the room. It can be dark.

Friendly staff, clean, great location, Price reasonable. Felt very welcomed.

Family room "Comfort" is small for 3 people, the child bed is a pull out chair bed that hinders restictions around the room especially the bathroom. Clean and reasonbly quiet considering its outlook was onto the main road. Didn't meet anyone who was employed in the hotel that I would say English was their 1st language. not usually a problem but a few things got confused like ordering poached eggs. I asked for 4 poached eggs, but got 8, should have said 4 eggs that are poached! as a portion of poached eggs is 2. Overall a good experiance would stay again but go for a bigger room.
