Nice and clean room and lovely breakfast (we had bacon and egg rolls and it came with orange juice). Loved the snacks and the fresh coffee, such a treat that you usually don't get at a hotel. Also appreciated the variety of fresh milks available in the fridge in the hallway! We would definitely stay here again 😊

There was earplugs available to help with the noise which I assumed would come from the pubs and restaurants nearby. The most noticeable noise however was either the outer window banging from the wind or a sign/door outside, I couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from and the earplugs didn't block much of it unfortunately.

Nicely designed room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Great choice of breakfast options, all lovingly delivered to the door. Flexible about timing, what more can one ask for? Location and facilities are perfect, the host is very welcoming.

The only downside really is the around-the-clock bell ringing of the nearby church, and not just one stroke or two every 15 minutes, but whole melodies of it. This is nothing the host can do anything about of course, and earplugs are kindly provided without having to ask for them, but Macclesfield Town Council have some serious questions to answer about how this can be allowed in this day and age. Any nightclub or bar causing the same kind of racket at night would be closed down in no time at all.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, both bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked and the ciabatta was warm and fresh. The whole experience was very good. It is a beautiful room with a lovely big window ( which opens!) The bed was very comfortable. There were lots of thoughtful details such as ear plugs, cotton buds, cotton wool, real coffee and a cafetière and some irresistible snacks which we didn’t resist- chocolate and popcorn. Clear Wi-Fi password. It really was an ideal and welcoming place to stay.

The location was great. Right next to a public car park which is free from 6pm till 8am, this was perfect for me. Only a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants and i enjoyed going for a morning run along Middlewood way. The breakfast was excellent and it was very handy having it left outside my room every morning.

It was extremely hot in the room on the first 2 days but this was due to the weather and not something the host can change. It would have been great to have some air conditioning but the host did put a fan in my room on day 2 which was gratefully received.

Lovely rooms, lots of nice touches throughout to create a welcoming and warm ambience. Communication was easy, check-in straightforward and a delicious and generous gluten free breakfast to enjoy. The room has lots of natural light. The building has steep steps up to the landing. In my front room (2) there is noise from the local bar, as mentioned in other reviews, so if you are a light sleeper or cannot use ear plugs choose somewhere different. If like me you sleep through noises easily then with comfy beds this is a lovely rest stop located a five minute walk from the station and just off the main pedestrianised high street.

Nothing.

If you are needing accommodation in Macclesfield - (or indeed Manchester City centre and you don’t mind the travel in and out) a room in here could be the ideal option because the property is a short walking distance from Macclesfield train station. The walk is up an incline (cobbled street in part), which wasn’t an issue for me, as I had only a backpack - and the accommodation seemed to be in a vibrant (but old part) of Macclesfield. I appreciated the text messaging service on hand to a member of staff (or owner), and the arrival and departure key/security instructions. The ear plugs in the room a bonus, even though I always travel with a pair, because on a (Saturday) night there was a bit of noise (music), but nothing that disturbed me. I liked the modern, stylist comfortable and clean decor of the shared hall and landing area and of the actually room I stayed in. 💚

There was nothing I personally didn’t like about the property- it was modern, warm, very comfortable, well equipped with refreshments, hairdryer, iron and towels. The only one thing maybe is to note is that there is a staircase to the landing to access to the room from the main door. If you think this may be an issue then I’d recommend to make contact for a chat to check.

The staff was super accommodating and helpful. The beds were super comfortable. The room was spacious and super nice. We were right in the city center with everything in reach. The breakfast was amazing.

The room was quite noisy in the evening due to the central placement. The oyster bar downstairs played loud music until 11/11.30 in the evenings. However, the staff was super sweet leaving us earplugs and trying their best to make arrangements to make up for it.

Room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was great- and Karina was very organised.Location was very central We only visited one restaurant Basilico Italian on Chestergate which was very good. I dont consider this a criticism but we didnt manage to meet Karina maybe we should have caught her somehow or maybe she should have made herself known !

We had to drive round the town centre before we worked out how to get to the accommodation.I think its worth advising clients to pay attention to traffic direction maybe with a sketch ? It wasnt clear if free parking was available on the left side of the hill leading up from Waters Green ?

Beautifully designed , modern B&B, the room and bathroom are thoughtfully decorated and include lots of little extra touches - snacks, cotton buds, etc. It's really a place you want to spend time. The bed was comfortable, and the large window made the room feel light and airy even on a grey, rainy day. The breakfast was delicious, and having it delivered to the room felt like a luxury. I would definitely stay here again, I didn't want to leave.

As others have said, it can be a bit noisy with the bar next door. I could hear their music throughout the whole afternoon/evening, and the large window (when closed) means that you can hear everything happening outside, but this is not the fault of the property and is somewhat to be expected from a city centre location. You're also provided with ear plugs to help counter this.

Beautifully appointed in a contemporary style. All requirements taken care of. Conveniently central, and very close to station if you are using the train. The public car park is very close, and free after 6pm and on Sundays. Breakfast was delicious. Communication was efficient and clear instructions provided. Thanks, Karina!

Steep and narrow stairs; not a problem for us, but someone old or infirm would struggle. The room is small, though well organised. It might feel cramped if you are staying more than a couple of nights. It was very noisy outside when the pubs closed (ear plugs are provided, which is a nice touch). Perhaps it is quieter most other nights, but this was a Saturday.
