All was well, clean , the room was good size and very calm and quiet, exactly what we needed.

Everything was great, the only thing was that our room didn't get a cleaning service for the second night! We did hear someone knocking the door at 9 in the morning! But guess that's not the best time to do the service, usually be at 11 at the time of checkouts when guests also have left the room for the day rather than still be in, and even if so they'd need to come back not dropping it altogether! Also not many options for breakfast! No veggie options either! Definitely can be improved on the buffet menu..

Stayed at the Holiday Inn for two nights as part of the Coldplay concert weekend. Check in experience was really good and quick. Double room was very spacious and we found it to be quite quiet from any outside traffic. Facilities on site was very good, and breakfast was lovely too. Staff were very friendly and I'd say a bonus is the bar was still open at almost 1am to buy snacks, which helped after the concert when craving chocolate and the mcdonalds next door was closed.

Having to pay for parking. Yes it's only £3 taken off the £50 holding fee, but after paying £350 for two nights, I dont think its very necessary.

The location was good as it was near the Trafford Centre

When checking in I approached the desk. There was a member of staff who said she was busy and that I would be dealt with soon. No smile, no welcome. After a few minutes stood in front of her I was summoned over to another desk and member of staff. Even though confirming my name, booking etc she couldn’t find it. After showing her my email she suddenly found it. Again no enthusiasm, smile or welcome. Again interaction later on with the persons serving us at the bar just took the order and money. No friendliness whatsoever. The room was fine, a few dodgy stains but to be expected as it hard to be perfect. Good room and breakfast. Not noisy as other locations are late at night and in the morning. Would book the same location again.

The hotel was so easy to get to, the staff were very polite even when there was a bit of panic when I forgot the booking was under my partners name and not mine. I have worked in hospitality myself for 16 years and all the staff were excellent and didn’t miss a beat, well trained and over all really lovely people.

The only issue we had was the code for the barrier to get out of the car park didn’t work for us, we were ensured it was correct but honestly didn’t make a difference to how amazing our stay was and it didn’t stop us being able to come and go as we pleased.

the hotel was modern and clean. The staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. Maps of the trams ready printed. Also plenty of helpful advice. The same level of pleasantries when we departed the following day. Room comfortable, good air con. tea/coffee making facilities. hairdryer. Got everything needed for a 1 night stay whilst visiting Manchester for Coldplay concert at Etihad

if I had to choose anything negative it would be no liners in the waste bins in the rooms… tea bags straight into stainless steel bin. Twin room, only 3 tea bags so only one cup of tea in the morning as we’d had 1 when arrived. None of these issues were a huge problem to us, but 2 minor topics to answer the question.

Staff always friendly, comfy bed, great shower and nice eggs. Stayed before and will stay again

Not enough options at breakfast for non pork eaters. Only egg and beans, the veggie sausages they do aren't great. Having hash browns and some turkey rashes or some other hot option that isn't pork would be great. At least one other side with the egg and beans available. Also better black coffee, it tasted gross. Dinner way too expensive for oven chips and dry chicken wings. I'd suggest McDonald's across the rd or get Uber Eats, waste of money eating in the hotel and no seasoning :/

Super comfy beds, enough room for us to get ready, location to bec where we were going for a festival, the night staff were absolutely fabulous and went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for what they did! Didn't make it down for breakfast, maybe a room service option would be good for this? We did have a pizza in the night which was delicious and quick! Also, being able to pay for a late check out on the day was amazing!

No windows in the room and was very hot - the fan on the ac didn't seem to make a difference. Could maybe do with another mirror? Seemed quite expensive for a night - 220 for us both, other holiday inns I've visited have been around 70, and this was booked in advance but maybe it's because there was an event on locally?

Stayed overnight in connection with the midweek match at Old Trafford. Arrived at the hotel late at night and was greeted by a super nice receptionist who arranged for pizza and delivered just before we had unpacked our luggage in the hotel room. Large room, good beds, but the carpet deserved a proper cleaning. That, together with the lack of a toilet brush, is the only thing to complain about. Perfect location when traveling with children. Quiet and peaceful area, but still central with a shopping center within walking distance, easy transport by tram to the stadium and the city centre. Full score for service✌️ We will definitely be back!

All very bright and modern. Good location and easy to find. Staff all very pleasant.

Bed was a little hard for my liking but I did still sleep well. Breakfast was a little slow due to the vast amount of people staying at the hotel. Staff did their best to keep items replenished but on our last morning the continental section had ran out by 9.30 and was not replaced. Again, I do believe this was due to the hotel being so busy but this should have been foreseen. Staff appeared run off their feet and did their best.

Hotel and the room was absolutely lovely and nipping clean. Staff were very friendly and Breakfast was delicious.

Was a little disappointed at the distance we had to travel to the Etihad Stadium but that was my own fault for not researching a little better. Taxi was £40 each way but I think this could of been because Manchester was particularly busy that night/day as it had been the FA Cup final between Man City and Man Utd, The Arctic Monkeys were playing at the cricket ground and Elton John was playing at the arena. Probably not that expensive on a different weekend!
