Breakfast offered a wide range from cereals to cooked English. The room was clean and good. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities and bar food were excellent. The car park was convenient and affordable. The location was good, though there was some noise from the adjacent road, it didn't disrupt sleep. The hotel is next to the canal and near the convention centre, bars, and restaurants.
The pillows were too soft, causing a stiff neck in the morning A negative point was the noise made by children on what seemed like a school trip, running through corridors and banging doors and what sounded like kicking a ball in their room.

Loved the location, the room was simple but adequate , lovely and clean. I’m a believer that £200+ is an extortionate rate for a one night stay, but it seems to be the new normal now , I would say the price is a reach . Not really great you have to pay near £20 to park for the 24hrs in the hotel car park ?? We’re guests surely it should be free, but again seems to be something we accept as normal now . Coffee machine was out of action, they had another one behind the bar but said they couldn’t use that one unless we paid an extra cost, which seemed daft. If one machine is broken and you’ve got another … use it ?! I d stay again , bed was comfortable which is important , nice little bathroom , views of the city .

Loved how the staff were very polite and very helpful,,loved the pool and sauna ect , thought it was excellent value for money , really enjoyed the breakfast, rooms very clean and very comfortable , we had a fab time in the hotel, its was well worth the money with the facilities and the location,
Well the only criticism I have is the price for parking at £18 a day I thought was quite costly, also the ticket machine in the carpark going out is quite hard to reach and I moved a bit nearer to try and get the ticket scanned and I sadly didn't see the metal post near the ticket machine and I scraped the door handle on the drivers door and dinted the door of the car as the metal post wasn't bright enough with hazard tape , and it is a brand new car 😕 😢 😳, that's all the criticism I have , room for improvement is the hazard tape on the metal post needs to be much brighter 😀 👍 and a slight reduction in the price of the carpark otherwise fantastic thankyou the staff are a credit to the hotel plus I like the fact that it's for a good cause as well 😀

Room was good, the Breakfast was good, and location good for what we were attending
I booked this hotel purely on the fact of car park, i didnt realise there was a £18 charge that was a bit of a shock Hotel was good, apart from one thing, because it was a hot night the only way to regulate any heat was to slightly open a window, as i did this the smoke alarm went off, i stood there wondering what to do and realised it was only my room then it turned off, i was expecting either a call from reception or a knock on the door but nothing, iv never known a alarm go off for that reason

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good powerful shower. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't opt to add this on.
Nothing overly special to make it more expensive than other hotels round about, except having the pool, which is why I opted for this choice. Didn't realise it was more of just a sports leisure centre pool than a hotel pool. Also, the site stated free toiletries, I wouldn't really class having liquid hand soap (which was in a hair and body bottle) and a little bit of hair and body wash in the shower really deems free toiletries. £18 per day for parking I also felt was expensive however it was a secure car park from both entrance to the path and drive in entrance.

The welcome was fantastic, and this is a little gem in terms of conveinant location for the surrounding area. The evening meal was excellent (although there are also great restaurants on the door step for dinners) and the breakfast was fresh and provided all the options you could wish for. The room was ideal - we were in a twin, and there is sufficient space, the bathroom was very large, and fully appointed.
Two constructive suggestions I would make is (a) put up signage in the car park to clearly show the direction to reception and (b) a little bin in the bathroom would be a helpful addition.

What a gem of a hotel. The staff were excellent - couldn't have helped us more. I booked 2 twin rooms for myself and my daughter and a friend and her daughter. The girls were going to a concert at the Coop Arena. The staff helped us with directions to the concert, a great meal deal at the hotel before we went and a fabulous brekkie in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely, friendly vibe. Great location- just a few minutes walk from Deansgate station. Hotel felt totally safe. Will definitely book again.
Nothing! I'm just sad I hadn't found it sooner!

The room was splendid, the breakfast was okay (full english), the staff are extremely kind and helpful. I ended up extending my stay because of how much I liked the hotel! If I ever visit Manchester again, this will be my go-to place
So I felt like the room had poor ventilation, in the sense that it could trap heat really easily. There is an exhaust in the washroom and it works great but the room itself gets stuffy and can have a 'locked room smell' if the windows stay closed. I opened the windows one night to air the room out, the next day a mouse came in to my room. The only opening we think it got in through was the open windows, it must be since it's next to the canal. I wasn't harmed, the reception sent staff up and they took care of the issue. They even sealed any possible pathways in the washroom. But, the mouse scare left me scared to air my room out and the stuffiness was a bit difficult to deal with

Staff - fantastic and so accommodating. Jon and Belle are hilarious. Very kind and Efficient. Great advice on places to go and clear with directions. Lovely Room - clean and pleasant. A nice surprise with the view. Bed - solid but quite comfortable Bathroom - decent size and very clean Parking - private gated parking. Absolutely fantastic for being so central. Pool, steam room, Suna - wonderful. Quite busy but nice.
Unfortunately we where there after the flood so extra facilities where limited. Leaving the pool area late. Very complicated. I am sure it will be fine after the fixes. Bathroom - lights work on a sensor. Can be problematic if you use the Bathroom late. Guaranteed to wake anyone else in the room.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful, the room and the pool area were clean, the sauna and steam room actually worked and were nice and hot (i've been to plenty of more expensive hotels where this is not the case). It was amazing value for money for it's location, easy to access city centre. Plus the money you spend supports Manchester YHA. Would definitely stay again.
It is basic, the toiletries are just 'liquid soap' but we didn't really care about that. We just bought some from the local Sainsbury's round the corner. No problem. If you want a fancy hotel, this is not for you. If you want clean, friendly, good location and value for money then this is great.
