The staff were brilliant, really welcoming and chatty. The bar and foyer are stunning and the decor is very chic

The room was quite disappointing after seeing photos of all the stunning rooms on the website. Our room was small with curtains that were stuck to the wall by grubby velcro. The TV wasn't plugged in and when we tried the sockets behind didn't work and then the aerial wasn't plugged in and the fridge didn't work. It felt like we'd been stuck in a room no one had been in for ages and it didn't match up to what we were expecting

Clean, quiet and welcoming hotel located just 3 minutes walk from the tram stop at St Peter's Square or around 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed with almost everything you could need including fridge, good quality tea and coffee and great toiletries. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. The heating/air conditioning was very effective and easy to use. Extremely reasonably priced - I would definitely stay here again.

The lighting in the room was poor relying on low wattage bedside lamps. An array of switches by the beds didn't seem to operate anything. The desk needs a desk chair. The stay could have been improved by providing an information pack about the hotel facilities (including the breakfast times, checkout time, what to do if you have an emergency etc) and also suggestions about where to visit in Manchester (tourist sites, restaurants and coffee shops, nearby chemists and supermarkets etc).

Nice bar, modern and huge room with comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom, really friendly staff.

Room decor and overall hotel design was impeccable, really lovely and well thought out. Shower was great, and the space in the rooms was fantastic

On arrival, was asked to pay the price of the room in full plus the £50 deposit for charges to room. Explained I had already paid for the room in advance and had to provide card statements, a bit of a faff and wasn’t really believed at first. Breakfast portions very small, if staying again would just book brunch in NQ or Chinatown. Asked for new towels twice and never received any so had to shower before check out with damp towel, not really ideal. Upon check out, I was asked again to pay for the hotel room in full and was repeatedly told no you are wrong you haven’t paid. Again had to get up bank statements to show receipt of payment.

One of the bedroom lights in the bedroom wouldn’t turn off in all three of our rooms. It was also really hard to close the curtains and the rooms were a bit hot at night. The cooked breakfast wasn’t great unfortunately, sausages had no browning on and were a bit flavourless, egg was overcooked, mushrooms were bland. Probably wouldn’t bother with it next time as there are so many other great breakfast places in Manchester. Staff working at breakfast were so nice though.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the train station (Manchester Piccadilly) and good restaurants. Despite being close to a busy road, you do not notice this at all from within the building. The room was quiet, a good size and with all amenities you would expect (tea, coffee, biscuits). The breakfast was good, which included a continental buffet and cooked options to order. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The hotel overall had a good atmosphere. I would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Harmony, whose friendliness and helpfulness stood out. She even provided us with a complimentary room upgrade, which was a delightful surprise. The room itself was beautiful and impeccably clean. Harmony took the time to explain all the facilities in great detail, ensuring we felt comfortable and well-informed. The hotel's location is excellent, with a tram stop just around the corner and the train station only a 15-minute walk away. The city is beautiful, and our stay at this hotel made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very busy and we had to wait for a table. We were "comped" both the breakfast and a late checkout without asking.

Only one of two slow lifts working. More staff required at breakfast and probably a booking system required for busy times. Asked what time the bar shut before we went out and were told 2am. We returned at 10.30 for a cocktail before bed and were told they stopped serving cocktails at 10pm. However, the barperson agreed to the order as they weren't busy which was appreciated. There should to be a note on the drinks menu to reflect this.

Location is very central, spot on. Check in experience was lovely and welcoming. The lobby is very pretty and the decor is really nice. I enjoyed it a lot. The lifts were quick. Our room was pleasant. There was good storage in the wardrobe and drawers. There was a lovely area to sit with a big mirror and do makeup - but it was really dark. There was a small lamp but it was impossible to do makeup due to the bad lighting. Gorgeous curtains around the window. The bathroom was gleaming clean.

The safe was not working so we reported that. There was a speaker in the room but that didn't work. The shower didn't get very hot, just luke warm.

Easy to find hotel, quite modern. Whilst the rooms are spacious and comfortable bed. It’s the bathroom that made it: large shower, great water quality and big, comfortable towels. Rooms were super quiet respect being in city centre. Good little hotel restaurant with a small but decent selection and comfortable bar. Good for an overnight stay.

Bar selection was limited, one lift out and room decor was modern but questionable. Looked like the walls had not been finished but that’s more personal choice than fault.
