Pasquale at the front desk was very personable and friendly, helpful and professional. The room was a great size and the shower worked very well. The location is fantastic for the centre of Manchester.
The phone charger points next to one side of the bed didn't work. They did on the other. There was a small hole in the wall of the toilet which looks like was formed because of the design of the door and handle. That should be filled or covered with a bounce mat or something. The extra bed was good for a 10 year old but the sheet kept slipping off.

The staff were very pleasant, the rooms were clean, the location was perfect for getting into the city. The later checkout was helpful as it allowed us to grab breakfast before heading back to collect our luggage. There was a mix up with the rooms at the start with the type of room but this was my fault and staff were very helpful with sorting this.
It was a bit disorganised. 4 adults in two rooms and we ended up needing multiple keycards. Two of us arrived later than the other two. When these two arrived they cancelled my keycard and that of my friend, so we ended up with only two key cards that worked. Trying to resolve this ended up with us getting yet another 4 key cards, which all looked the same, so it got muddled. It didn't negatively affect the experience though, we found it funny having a big pile of keycards

Location was great as there was shopping, food and a museum, the library was great and the children liked the area. The room was nice, we just had quite firm beds and the additional beds where a bit uncomfortable, the shower drain was very slow. Over all the room was a nice size and there was great storage nice size family room. The breakfast was great and my children ate food well.
The additional beds where a bit uncomfortable, the shower drain was very slow. The food needs addition covering as there was a lot of flies.

Very convenient central location. We asked for two room keys which they kindly provided without an issue. The staff were very friendly, polite, well dressed and well groomed. Nice mixture of male and female staff. Not sure if it's staffed 24/7, but there always seemed to be 2 staff working when we entered or exited. Beds for the kids were already set up, room was very clean and modern, excellent condition. Nice beds as well. We all slept soundly, couldn't believe we slept in so late, luckily their is a very generous check out time. Quick keycard drop off/checkout was nice.
My wife and two daughters said the hairdryer was a bit rubbish. Lucky, I lost my hair years ago, so not a big one for me. Also, a bit of a weird one, but the toilet rolls had this weird flourish where the first piece is folded into a triangle and then pressed in with something wet to keep the styling. First off, having every piece of toilet paper have a wet patch seemed a bit weird. Secondly, I had no idea where the water was from, the toilet is in a separate room. Does some random person (hopefully with clean hands) just stick their wet finger into each toilet roll? Or do you have some fancy "toilet roll wet indentation maker" device? Really, nothing big, we'd happily stay here again, we might just bring a hair dryer and a toilet roll next time.

The location, set-up of bar/restaurant and the quality of the room were all excellent, especially taking into account the cost. Room facilities were fantastic and we loved the bathroom with the large shower and electronically frosting glass wall. The staff too were exceptionally friendly, all those we dealt with. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but had drinks at the bar, where the staff were excellent and very positive interactions with the reception staff. All We’re very professional at the same time friendly and relaxed.
Only one night there and we didn’t get to use all of the facilities, so I couldn’t name anything I didn’t like.

The hotel is in a great location for the centre of Manchester. Tram lines are pretty much right outside and there are shops, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The hotel is really modern tastefully decorated and very clean. We didn't eat at the hotel but the food and prices looked good.
It was quite expensive for one night (£280.00)but we know that there was a high demand for our particular dates and so it was expected really. We needed to book in advance because we had concert tickets and needed to ensure we had somewhere ideally located for our stay.

everything was perfect only issue was that you charged me for the room when had already paid for it on Booking.com. Had i not checked it would have gone unnoticed. You need to sort that glitch with Booking.com. Your manager Faris was great, and he sorted it. I would have booked direct on your site, but you don't offer prepaid transactions. I purely like to pay for my rooms before i travel because it is one less thing i need to manage and not at the hotel on check out
it was excellent

Stayed here on numerous occassions. Ideal location for us personally. Room isn't big for a family of four, but is fine for a 1 or 2 night stay. Clean as always. The staff were very friendly and accomodating as usual. A vast and tasty choice for breakfast to suit all ages.
Spare pillows had been used for the put me up beds for our two children, so no spares in the wardrobe as there usually would be, so we (parents) only had 1 pillow each and we like 2, easily rectified by asking at reception. No bottled water in the room, I'm sure they used to supply them, but I might be wrong. Mattress was too hard for our liking, although ours at home is a firm this was much harder, ached all over in the morning, but this is a preference to be fair.

We absolutely loved the location and facilities. The staff were lovely and helpful. The leisure facilities were a huge bonus too.
Big down side...hence not max score, was the shortness of staff ..we waited nearly two hours for our evening meal to be served. There were couple of other hiccups on a night but the restaurant manager and his team handed it well. It was clear that the restaurant team was short of staff. It was only marginally better in the morning during breakfast. Hopefully this was just a one off but should the issue persist we will consider moving to a different chain. Thank you

The location was amazing. There were so many restaurants almost outside the hotel. There was a near by mall as well. We liked the location. Also the staff were very helpful. They arranged a cab for 7 people in no time. The bar below is also good and Jane was such a sweet lady.
Bathroom and toilet are separate and the toilet is extremely small. There is not enough space to open or shut the door without touching the commode which was not very cool for us. But that is what we observed in Glasgow Novotel as well.
