The location is great. It sits right in the center and makes sightseeing very easy and accessible. It's also nice to be able to quickly head back in case you need something. The beds were nice as well. The rooms seemed to be well protected against the noise from outside. The shower was very pleasant. Checking in and out is very simple. It's nice that we were able to store our bags because we had to check out before 11:00, but didn't have to leave the city until after 14:00.

The shower door didn't close properly. When asked for it to be fixed, it wasn't done properly. TV did not work well, it was only occasionally able to connect with any of our phones. The lighting from under the bed came loose and stuck to our feet. This was removed when we brought it up. We sometimes only received one new towel instead of the two we should have gotten.

The self check-in system was a joke! It's all well and good having a "high tech look how funky and efficient we are" touch screen expérience, but only if it actually works! It didn't, it crashed half way through my check-in, I disappeared from the system and had to join the line with all the other people trying to check in.....

The room is amazing, a great size, many comfortable pillows, an amazing shower, everything easy to regulate (water temperature and room temperature). So overall I had a very pleasant stay. I arrived an hour before check-in and my room wasn’t ready yet, but for a 5£ fee I could do an early check-in in an upgraded room. I recommend the Federal Cafe Bar for brunch and a visit to John Rylands Library, both near Yotel.

From the reviews here, I had high expectations for the breakfast, so I was disappointed. It might be because of my Brazilian background, though. Upon check out, a member of the staff gave me some wrong information regarding lockers in Manchester Victoria, which cost me a long and unnecessary walk. There are no lockers in that station to keep your luggage. If I hadn’t asked for help, I would’ve gone straight to the stasher in Premier Inn. So that was inconvenient.

Location was perfect. Staff very helpful if needed. Surprisingly quiet even though central based. Comfy bed. Sockets, USB hubs and all light switches next to bed. Bigger room than expected considering it was a compact room. Great shower. Hairdryer in room.

Only thing was that there was only one lift working during duration of stay which took a while during busier periods. Had I have been staying on a lower level floor it wouldn't have been an issue as would have used the stairs but was on 7th floor, then again maybe I shouldn't have been so lazy could have been a great cardio workout! Would have liked another mirror in the room part so could see when using hairdryer!

What didn't we like 😊. From the moment we arrived we loved the Yotel! Self service check in was easy. You decide how many keys! Rooms are amazing & quirky. Massive immaculate bed. Tea & coffee..outside every lift.. Not a problem. Breakfast was lovely & plentiful. We ate in the hotel on the second NIGHT as the weather was awful and the food was outstanding! and not expensive a little over £40 for 2 starters & 2 mains. The lovely chap behind the bar has developed a blue cheese infused Vodka.. It is a game changer... Well done Shreyas! Staff were all lovely the only downside... We did not want to leave. Perfectly situated to explore all that Manchester has to offer. THANK YOU YOTEL 😍

Clean and perfectly adequate room on 9th floor. I liked the fact there are no carpets, so no suspect stains! Coffee & tea machine on the landing, plus ironing boards & irons. The breakfast, which was included in our room price, was amazing, just about everything you could want. The location was great for us as we were there for a Tennis tournament and it was only about a 15 min walk to the AO Arena.

Pillows weren't very comfortable. Noise every night, around 4am, so I think there must be a club turning out at that time. My friends had their windows closed and didn't hear it.

Great location, really liked the foyer / lounge space. Breakfast was well done, especially impressed at how well the staff reacted when a delayed flight group had to be catered for at short notice. Would have liked a speedier toaster and larger glasses available for water! Evening food was also good and quickly served on the one evening I ate in. Room was comfortable and well designed.

I had an internal room (no windows) which was OK but in hindsight, as I stayed 5 nights, I should have opted for an upgrade! Coffee by the lifts was 50;50 for me - great because it was good coffee but a little weird popping down the corridor in my PJ's first thing (I got over it tho')

The location is absolutely fantastic, it is very clean and ultra modern, I also like the fact that check in and check out was hassle free no queuing

I found the mattress too hard and the room was noisy I could hear water travelling through the pipes on the ceiling and also noise from other guests in the corridor as they walked past our room. I was in a windowless room which I assume was in the centre of the building and I found I had no phone signal while in the room, wifi was available but I was still anxious all night that if someone tried to call me I wouldn’t know and it wouldn’t go through

The breakfast was lovely, with lots to choice. The breakfast team, particularly Shiver were wonderful. She was so attentive but not overbearing. Shiver was warm, caring and thoughtful and met all of my needs. She is also the reason why I will return to the Yotel when I'm in Manchester next. Caìdon was also lovely, nothing too much trouble for both of the breakfast team. I will see both Shiver and Cairon next time I stay at your Yotel.

Really serious for me personally, there was no facilities in the room to make a drink. And because I don't drink, I was forced to go down the corridor each time to make a drink. The cups were far too small which caused me further distress. And there were two occasions where there was no milk in the small fridge and I had to get more. At one point I finished what milk there was and the next quest had non for her drink. I felt awful for her. It was worrying looking up to the ceiling because it didnt looked safe. It looked neglected.

Location was excellent for food and drinks, so many good places nearby. Shower was excellent and loved the shower products. Good choice at breakfast, coffee was good and lots for vegetarians.

I didn’t like the ceiling in the room (I understand this is their aesthetic and is intentional but it just spoils the look (especially when the foyer/restaurant is soooo boujee). I didn’t like that the bathroom bin was a waste paper type basket with no lid and no liner - where we supposed to put sanitary items? Although I enjoyed my stay I probably wouldn’t stay again. However my teen was shocked by this so maybe the hotel appears to a younger crowd.
